They also follow what the Bible says very closely. The churches of Christ speak where the Bible speaks and are silent where the Bible is silent. They are a first century New Testament church. The church of Christ follows the ways of worship that went on with the first Christians.
The Rockledge church follows the biblical example of accapello singing (singing without instrumental accompaniment.) This is for a number of reasons. Firstly, we were never ordered to use instruments in the worship of God in the New Testament, but we are told to sing. The Old Testament is Old Law and we are not governed by the Old Law, it is merely for reference to the stories, to show God's power, and what kinds of things He can do, and how He expects us to follow His word. Adding instruments would be adding to the word of God, since He did not ask us to use instruments in the New Testament. Ephesians 5:19 says "speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord." We are commanded to sing here, but nowhere are instruments mentioned. It does say however that we are to "make melody in [our hearts]." If we are using instruments to make the melody, then the melody is not coming from our heart, but from the instrument. Secondly, nowhere in the New Testament worship did they use instruments in their worship and not for a few centuries did instrumental music enter the church. The first Christians did not use instruments in their worship. So these are the main reasons that the Rockledge church does not use instruments in their worship service.

A big giveaway to whether it is a church of Christ is if they have instruments.
