| LYRICS Listed below (alphabetically) are some selected Twila Paris songs. You can click on them to see the lyrics. I should have songs from her latest album He Is Exalted up here within a week or so. But first.... A few random notes: 1. I have thoroughly checked these lyrics, so there shouldn't be any mistakes. But, if you find one, please e-mail me and let me know about it. 2. My collection of albums is not complete, and I only have a little over half of her songs (100 of 177) in this list, but hopefully it's enough to be useful to people. Now, for the songs: All About You All My Heart Alleluia Christ Is Born Away In A Manger Band Of Survivors Bonded Together Breaking My Heart Clearer Vision Could You Believe Covenant Keeper Cry For The Desert Daughter Of Grace Days Of Elijah Delight My Heart Destiny Do I Trust You Every Heart That Is Breaking Faithful Friend Faithful Men Fill My Heart Fix Your Eyes For Eternity Forever Eyes Glory And Honor Glory To God God Is In Control God Of All God Of Miracles He Is A Song He Is Exalted He Is No Fool Holy Is The Lord Honor And Praise Hosanna (2005) House Of Cards How Beautiful Humility I Belong To You I Commit My Love To You If The Feelings Ever Go Away I Never Get Used To What You Do I Saw Three Ships I See You Standing I Want The World To Know I Will Listen I Will Never Go I Will Worship It All Goes Back It's So Easy It's The Thought Jesus In You Keepin' My Eyes On You Knowin' You're Around Lamb Of God Language Of Disciples Leaning On The Everlasting Arms Let No Man Take Your Crown Lifted Higher Lookin' Up Love's Been Following You Make Me New Messiah Midwinter Neither Will I Neverending Love No Confidence Not Afraid Anymore Nothing But Love O Holy Night Once In A Life Praise Him Prince Of Peace Rescue The Prisoner Run To You Runner Running To The Rescue Same Girl Send Me Seventy Years Ago Sparks And Shadows Sweet Victory Tellin' The Truth Thank You For Keepin' Your Hand On Me The Battle Is The Lord's The Child Inside You The Joy Of The Lord The Time Is Now The Warrior Is A Child This World To Do Your Will True Friend True North Undivided Heart Visitor From Heaven Wandering Pilgrim Watch And Pray We Bow Down We Will Glorify Wisdom Wondering Out Loud You Are God |

| (last edit 2-27-07) Hey everyone... Welcome to my quantity-over-quality Twila Paris page :-) I'm a huge Christian music fan, and I enjoy almost any style of music (from pop-rock to rapcore to techno to southern gospel), but I wanted to put together a Twila Paris page for two reasons: 1. Twila was a huge influence on me when I was younger. For some time, she was practically the only contemporary Christian artist I listened to. 2. Good information about Twila is hard to find on the internet... especially lyrics. My own personal experience with Twila Paris started when I was very young - probably around the age of 5 or so. I can't say for sure, but the first song of hers that I ever heard was probably "The Warrior Is A Child". (My parents owned that album, and it was the first song on there, so I'm guessing it was the first one I ever heard.) From that album, I remember that I really liked "The Warrior Is A Child", "Forever Eyes", and "The Battle Is The Lord's". After a while, something happened to that tape. (It got lost or thrown out or something). It was the only Twila Paris album my family had, so that was the end of my time listening to her music until I was much older. I grew up in an Assembly of God church in New Mexico, and we used to do these things called "singspirations". (Basically it was just a night where people would sing solos. Some of them could sing... and some couldn't. But it was always a lot of fun.) In any case, one of these events featured our youth pastor singing a song called "God Is In Control" that I absolutely loved. I didn't know at the time that it was a Twila Paris song, but I was excited when I found out because I remembered liking her back when I was 5 or 6. (By this time, I was probably about 13.) Still, it wasn't until I was 18 that I was able to actually buy another album. I got her "Greatest Hits" CD and loved it. Since then, I've gotten most of her other albums. My favorite song of hers is still "God Is In Control", but after that it gets confusing. She's done so many incredible songs, like "Do I Trust You", "It's So Easy", "Runner", "He Is No Fool", "The Time Is Now", "Nothing But Love", "Destiny", "Jesus In You", "True North", "Glory & Honor"... and the list goes on and on. |

| I've put together a complete Twila Paris discography (including all the various anthologies that have been released, as well as her latest album He Is Exalted). It also includes a complete list of all her songs and notes all the albums that each song appeared on. (Some of her more popular songs, such as "The Warrior Is A Child" have appeared on quite a few.) | RANDOM PIECE OF AMUSING TWILA PARIS TRIVIA: In one passage in the song "Let No Man Take Your Crown", Twila sings 34 straight syllables on the same note! |
