Well once again I attempt to write, it's been on my heart for a long time. If I could tell you what it is I'm going to write about I would not be writing it. I just know I need to write, if that makes any sense.
I do know this that the body of Christ is in for a change a change that will shake it's very foundation and yet it will be a return to the true gospel, to true salvation. Salvation that comes ONLY through the blood of Jesus.Not by the hands of men. That needs to be repeated..... NOT by the hands of men!!! Not with money or huge megadollar ministries, preachers with fancy cars and big corporate so called "ministry buildings".
I'm speaking from the heart when I say people( including myself) are tired of superfical christainity and thats coming from one whose been very superfical. Its time we live what we believe its time I live what I believe. I truly believe what Im about to write needs to be written so here goes.
If I could sum up what it is I need to say in a few short words it would be........WAKE UP SLEEPING GIANT!!!!! Jesus is at the very door!!! He's seeking souls totally sold out to Him. Where nothing matters but true salvation and true repentence. Not just to say a "sinners prayer" (Which by the way is not in the Bible.) but to truly repent of our sins. It's one thing to say the "sinners prayer " it's another thing to really know why and what your saying.
I know when I first became a Christian I didn't know what it really meant to repent of my sins somebody just told me to repeat after them not telling me why I was saying it and truly what I was saying. God had to really reveal it to me. In case we have forgotten the meaning of repent, it means to turn from your sins a FULL 180 degree turn!!! We should not only turn from sins we should RUN from them!! Did you catch that? RUN!!!!!!.... Straight into the arms of a merciful of God. Not because we deserve it but because He paid the price. A price we could not pay! So lets get off our high horses and get down on our faces. Nothing we do,say.think,walk,talk or act will save us ONLY JESUS!!! Not even a so called "sinners prayer". |
