 dc Talk is the best Christian band ever.Period.
A near perfect 1995 release,followed by this 
not-as-good-but-almost CD,should convert any 
non-dctalker to see the light.
 Many of the cuts have some sort of 
poem-breakdown-thing near the end of the song
(Oh yeah,it's called a bridge).Don't get me wrong,
this is a good thing.The bridge in "Fearless" is 
simply beautiful.
 Another great thing about "Supernatural" is the 
variety
 of the songs.While "Jesus Freak" was mostly one 
style(but it's not like that was bad,it was a really 
cool style) "Supernatural" has a lot less guitar 
in most of the tracks, as well as a lot less rap.
I,however actually prefered more rap to less rap.
That doesn't 
take away from the real beauty of the record,though.
dc Talk differs from pop-punk guitars in 
"Since I Met You",more cool hard rock reminiscent of 
"Jesus Freak"" in "Supernatural",melodic pop 
"Into Jesus",and the ballads "Consume Me" and 
"Godsend"(which is a nice love song),and funky 
"Wanna Be Loved".The bass sounds phat in 
"It's Killing Me" as well.
  While many things about "Supernatural" are different
 from the previous masterpiece,most noticeably less 
rap solos,there are a few simlilarities.
In "Supernatural",like the title track of 
"Jesus Freak",Kevin Max(God help me I don't mix up the
 members of dc Talk) sings the second verse,and ends 
it showing off his wonderful voice.And the bridge 
(yup,there's a bridge in this one too) has a cool 
semi-poem thing,followed almost immediately by an 
equally cool guitar solo.
 The last four songs are where this CD where shines.
 In closing,"Supernatural" is almost as good as 
"Jesus Freak." Did I say that before? Oh well.
A lot of CD's have a song that puts down your
 opinion of the artist and album."Supernatural" 
doesn't.
