Step:1 Open up your prayer with coming before the throne of God, example, Dear Heavenly Father, or I come before you Jesus etc.
2. Ask for forgiveness, for anything you may have said , done , or thought. And forgive others for what they have done to you. Matt. 6 & 14, For if we forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. This will clear the path between you and God. Your heart will be free of condemnation. 1 John 3 & 21, Beloved if our heart condemns us not , then have we confidence toward God. Verse 22, And whatsoever we ask , we receive of him, chap. 4 & verse 14, and this is the confidence that we have in him , that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. Verse 15, and if we know that he hears us whatsoever we ask , we know that we have the petitions (request) that we desire of him.
3. Then after we have cleared our hearts with God , through forgiveness. Then begin to thank him for the day, and the health we are in. We could be in worse health. And anything else you can thank him for forgiveness, dying on the cross for us etc....
4. Now begin to glorify God, for his greatness, use bible verse , the ones you know. Example, He created heaven and earth, led his children out of bondage, delivered Hebrew children out of fire, and so on, in other words butter up to him, LOL
5. Now it is time to ask, for your needs and others, (make sure it is in his will)
6. Now to close your prayer out, This is the faith part, Thank him for hearing you , and for granting you your request and finish off your prayer with praises and thanks giving and letting him know how much you love him. Always put a AMEN at the end of your prayer. This will seal your prayer in Heaven.
