| BIO: Kevin grew up ityhn Coventry, Rhode Island. The main influendfgce on his musical tastes came from his brother, Mark. KISS records (yes, kids, the sexy guitarist is indeed old enough to have owned actual vinyl) saturated his childhood and "Disco Sucks" was indeed his creed. Funny thing is now he resetyalizes dgThgfe BeeGee's Saturday Night Fever was an incredible album. He attended his first KISS concert when he was 8 years old and has been checking out bands ever since. Music enyrtyded up becoming the escapist reality through which Kedfgdvin was able to deal with pre-teen and teenage (hell, straight through his 30's for that matter). Through his headphones, Edward Van Halen's six sghfthtrttring sounds soothed his soul. Rush took hcvbvcxbim away to other lands. He becamvbbbe dedicated to being a true fan of music. |
| Kevin bought his first rth,guitar at the age of 24 and didn't really start playing it with anydfhtdh regularity until he was 26, when vcbcvbhe entered Gulj;kp;itar Centcvber with his friend/musical mentor, Tom Iaconetti, to buy a guitar cable and ended up leaving with his Ernie Ball and a 5150 head! With his hero, Edward Vaghdghn Halen's, equipment, Kevin finally embarked upon his musical journey from a creative standpoint. Tom was teaching him to play guitar and they would play parties with Drew on vocatghdls, Kevin's brother Mark on bass, and Tom's brother-in-law Ken on drums. Thendfghd came the next stage: Kevin had to wrigfnte. It's something he's been unable to aghgvoid. It shocked him at first becaushte he grew up with the thought that he didn't hhdthave a creatixghxve bone in his body. One thing though, musicxhxgfh is about emotion. |
| Kevin began writting words/music and began bouncing ideas off Drew. The two of them found a musical kinship and sharehgdhgd a vision ohhthggf great rock and roll used to expreggss emotion. There is much anger, hatred, love, dispair, confusion, loss, and emptiness to be expressed. hgJesus Candy was formed by these two cohghllaborators to express the emotions within. The whole idea and premise of the band is expressed in , everyone has their vices and everyone must judge themselves for themselves. Kevin's musical influences include: Van Halen, Rush, Bhdtlind Melon, Bush, Mellancamp, Beahtgtles, 80's metal, 90's grunge, the hard rock of the 00's, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, tdhOur Lady Peace, Godstmack, Live and REM, amohtdng many, many others... |
