A love story for that exclusive club - the club called Christianity - the club that has no geographical boundaries and goes where no man can physically go. The door of membership is open. But the moment that you die, and you have not accepted membership, well it is too late. Just like the rich man and Lazarus.
Luk 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
Luk 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Luk 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Luk 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Once the rich man was in Hell he was paying for his decision that he could not reverse. The rich man resisted Christ in that he refused to feed Lazarus:
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Mat 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Mat 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
He could not say, yes I made some bad choices in life let me change. The position he was in was for a decision he made in the past is still unchangeable. The membership of accepting Christ is only available while you are alive.
Man in the Garden of Eden had one task to perform. All that he had to do is make it to the tree of life and he would have obtained everlasting life. Man was not lost; he was still in the garden and had yet to sin but was obtaining everlasting life. Adam had to make it to the tree of life. When mankind was put out of the Garden of Eden, immediately God had a redeemer for man. The redeemer is the 2nd Adam. That is Christ Jesus.
1Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Joh 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
Rom 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Rom 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Mankind was driven out of the Garden of Eden as a group.
We have to come back to redemption through Jesus Christ as individuals, not as a group:
We dont come as a group, but we come before the face of God individually. The bible says every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess, (Is 45:21-23there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me.
Is 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Is 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Romans 14:11-12 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
The message that God has for us is that we are accountable to God as individuals. Even if you have a Church that does the great commission of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20) and you are not telling people about Christ, then you are in error by scripture and have to give account to Christ. If you are in a church that does not go out to the lost and you dont go, than you are still accountable.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
The love story starts for you the moment that God gave his son and you except Him. Otherwise it is a gift that Christ has for the unsaved man who refuses to accept him.
****** If you unsaved man refuse such great a salvationit is a giftthat you have to accept******* it is not by works this gift is your ticket out of HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Romans 5:15-18, 6:23
The love story is that Jesus saves you from hell and that he took on your sins and paid the price for You. The love story is that Christ left us a blueprint to go by (dont add dont take away), so that we can grow as Christians and lead others to this knowing grace. If you have loved ones that was in a house, that is in a city, that is scheduled to be blown up at a certain, would you tell your loved ones to get out? If they would not listen would you compel them to leave before that appointed time? Would you exercise your love by pleading for them to leave, would you have anguish (severe mental suffering)?
Would you go about your business and not tell them, because you are safe and may make people upset with you, because you are making them uncomfortable with your conversation. I dont want my mother going up in flames, what kind of child would I be. If you are a Christian than I am going to give you your answer. If you are not warning people about the reality of everlasting damnation, in a fire that will never be quenched than you are worse than the person that doesnt warn the city of the horror about to come. The good thing about Gods word is that we can tell others about the joy that Christ has given us, the everlasting freedom from damnation that Christ gives us. Because he died for our sins and we are saved by his blood. Jesus tells us that he has sent a comforter (The Holy Spirit). This is the best part of the Gods love story that he has given the Christian after our salvation. Christ has not left us comfortless. The Holy Spirit is here to teach us all things. He will guide and direct us in our teachings. The Holy Spirit reveals to us by God that we ought to study the scripture daily.
John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Joh 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
II Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began
Mat 11:28 - 30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
