Food for thought: the Sabbath - Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days.
Psalm 49:1 and 2 Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
The Fearful
First let us look at Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The fearful is the least observed of these subjects that go to the 2nd death.
Fearful is a person that doesnt have to act or react and yet it is a sin.
John 12:42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: John 12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
The assumption was that they did not believe - John 7:45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? Joh 7:46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. John 7:47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
They believed on Christ though they were afraid, they chose man over God
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
They feared the fact of giving up the praise of man. they made a choice
Because of fear they put themselves in a particular category
Because of Fear, does this apply to you? What may prevent you from growing toward GOD?
I say, Selah think on these things!
Fear of giving is evident again -- In Mark 10:20-10:27 He wanted to follow God and he had a zeal to walk after Christ - though he was not willing to forsake all to allow Christ to be his LORD and Savior
LORD and Savior - Matthew 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Christ wants you to surrender all to him. He wants to be the LORd of your life and my life - Luke 9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.Luk 9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. Luk 9:61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.Luk 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
God wants your undivided attention anything that hinders you from serving him, he wants you to get rid of it. H wants the things of this world to decrease - Romans 6:6; Eph 4:22-24

Mat 13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Mat 13:21 Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. Mat 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Mat 19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men
Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
What keeps one from doing Gods Word and what keeps one from receiving Christ?
Fear keeps one from standing up for what is right:
The rabbit was frightened and stood in the middle of the road yet because of fear it did not move and death was its penalty for the lack of reacting, it was hit by the passing vehicle.
They chose which God they would serve --Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
