What Defines a Christian?

What defines a Christian???
Some of you say that you are saved and that you are a Christian;
Let us define a statement that is in the bible, the brethren (Christian);
The justification of a Christian when he is being accused of his sins

(Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. )

The bible says, and they loved not their lives unto the death. This is a Hard saying its a tuff sayingthough it is a basis of the bible, which is faith.

A saying like this seems hard and a person has to step out on faith. When you step out on faith and love not your life and realize that Christ has bought you with a price, then you realize that your time is Christs time.

2Timothy 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

We have an obligation to fight the spiritual battle for the LORD- ( Eph 6:10, 12) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

God gives us a saying that seems to be hardgenerally; it is hard to us because we as individuals are not willing to deny our own selfish displeasures.

When we refuse to deny self, we deny Christ.

2Timothy 11 -13 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

What is the defining knowledge of a Christian?

A Christian is a person that walks on faith Heb 11:1believing that GOD does exist.

Salvation is free to youJesus Christ paid the price for your salvation

Let God be true and every man a liar

If it is not in the bible than it is not true Romans 3:4

Try every spirit and see whether it is of God- (1 John 4:1)

And I be lifted, up from the earth I will draw all men unto me (Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.)

When we separate earthly things from out life, from your ministry,
When you deny your self and Christ is able to stand alone in your life

Then Christ will draw men unto him

In accordance with 2 Tim 2:15--- as we learn to separate the word of God we are able to have a greater understanding of his love and a greater appreciation of our duty for him.

The consequence of lifting Christ from the things of this world and rightly dividing the word of truth are:
We love not our lives to the end - (Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. )

Deny self -Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

When we deny ourselves there is a division there is a separation like oil and waterit does not mix. (Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Mat 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Mat 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.)

Therefore, if you are a Christian !!!!!!! And being a Christian, Jesus Christ has bought you with a price. He owns you. Your life is no longer yours.

( Phi 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.)

1Corinthians 6:19 What know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

I have an opinion about the nation being at war  and I am sure that you have an opinion alsoand our opinions are generally emotional expressions --some people are for it and some people are against it this brings on emotionalism;
This statement allows me to wonder, what does the bible say, because it is not necessary what my truths might be, but the truth of GOD.
It is not about the theologians view pointlet God be true but everyman a liar.
It is about what the bible says - 1Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. So all of this emotion brings on confusion, therefore this leads me to seek Gods face.

Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

This is a tough time to pray for those that we fight againstbut we ought to pray for the soul of the enemy to be saved.

To be a Christian is not to love self even till the death --Christ is first

Christ has bought us with a price and he is on the other side asking you to step out on faith

When you step out toward Christ, you realize you have stepped out on faith. You then reap the rewards of his mercy in grace by diligently seeking him. The rewards:

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
