We have to come toward Jesus Christ individually
For the Saved Person -If we have an obstacle that keeps us from growing closer to Jesus Christ - Than we need to ask for strength to surrender the problem to Jesus Christ. WE need to put it at the throne at God
For the Unsaved Person - What ever problem that you have – it's a smoke screen of the devil - you might think that uneducated people seek Jesus Christ - I am here to tell you that there is a God and there is a Heaven and a Hell.

• Hebrews 2:3 Tells me, “ How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord?
• The question may come to mind what may God be saving you from? He is saving you from hell. The bible says that the Fool says in his heart that there is no God.

Eph 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Eph 2:9 - Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Psalms 14:1 - The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalms 53:1 - The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Proverbs 12:15 - The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
Proverbs 14:16 - A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
Proverbs 23:9 - Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

The Devil is also known as the deceiver - Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

• He is the deceiver he is the one that is deceiving you to believing that there is no God
• But you know – he knows that there is a God - James 2:19 says that the devils also believe, and tremble
• Not only does the devil deceive but your end is to that of destruction—The devil comes before God and accusses the brethren - but the brethren are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ — This same Jesus that you deny.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

• Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Unbeliever - not only are you being deceived but your deception will let to that of destruction

I am not saying this but the bible is saying this—
Isaiah 34:10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched.

Now with all that said — Read Mark 5:18 and 19
In Mark 5:18 and 19 - The man was cleansed of his the devils –which is plural. James 2:19

• He has a desire to seek the presense of God
• This reminds me of a new born Christian - when a baby s newly born the baby has a desire for food—so the baby is given milk — the baby is born – though the baby has a internal desire for growth
• When I was saved immediately I wanted to read of God — diligently wanted ot have desire to be close to him by reading his word.
• The same with this man that was just cleansed of the demons --he had a desire to be close to Jesus Christ—He desired to seek the presence of GOD Jesus illustrates the great commission with this man
• Jesus tells him to go out – to tell others — he is telling him to be an disiciple of what has taken place in his life
• To tell others of the compassion that God has for him.
• That man could not have gotten rid of those devils himself — no one else could have helped him—no on his works - because he did not have the ability to rid himself of those devils
• He did not have the ability to save himself from a system that is controlled by demons

When we have problems in our life we seek help from others – doesn’t matter what they say or what they do — till we take it to Jesus Christ — there is no peace - when Jesus Christ cleansed this man – no man could do that.

• We can have any earthly cleaning that we want - but unless we get a spiritual cleaning through Jesus Christ, it means nothing. The bible tells us in John 10 that we try to get to the kingdom of God any other way than by Jesus Christ we are nothing but a thief and a robber (John 10:1,7-8,10) the thief and the robber represent self-willed peolple — the one’s that don’t need God’s help
• Not only does this not affect us as being Christians — this also affects christians - who are being being self-willed who wants to handle situations in their life without seeking Jesus Christ’s guidance.
• Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Verse 20—Jesus Christ does not want us to sit under him and to just learn of him

• He does not want us to just go to church Sunday after Sunday—sitting at the spiritual table and eat and eat and eat
• You know that is called spiritual obesity — we need to work it off by telling others of hrist Jesus
• He wants us to be disciples for him

Know where in this passage that God say’s that this man has to go to a 12 step program - I think that training class is good.
Heb 5:12 - For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
