Designed for any teenager about to embark on their journey through college, this book is full of sound nutrition advice for any young adult living on their own and confused with all the mixed messages on nutrition.  Litt addresses many topics specifically geared for the collegiate population, from basic nutrition savvy and fad diets, to the effects of alcohol on the diet.  Her advice is very appropriate and straight-forward, and does not promote nutrition at any extreme.  Litt strongly encourages young adults to enjoy all foods in moderation, without surrendering to the martyrdom of dieting and weight loss.

Chapters include:  The Freshman 15, Eating Disorders on Campus, Vegetarianism, and Equipping Your Dorm Room Kitchen.  This book is a quick read and provides safe nutritional messages for impressionable teens.  This book is a welcome addition to any student's, parent's or professional's bookshelf!
