todae is the very dae that thousands of people lost their lives in the 911 terrorist attack..so i thought i posted up this story in memory of all those lives that were lost. anywayz will be going to catch a movie later with Karleong. "terminal" it looks extremely nice and sweet show..heh

Today was Daddy's Day at school,

Of why he wasn't there today.

But still her mother worried,

But the little girl went to school,

About a dad she never sees

There were daddies along the wall in back,
For everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
Anxious in their seats.

One by one the teacher called,
A student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
As seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,
Every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
For a man who wasn't there.

"Where's her daddy at?"
She heard a boy call out.
"She probably doesn't have one,"
Another dared to shout.

And from somewhere near the back,
She heard a daddy say,
"Looks like another deadbeat dad,
Too busy to waste his day."

The words did not offend her,
As she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher,
Who told her to go on.

And with hands behind her back,
Slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
Came words incredibly unique.

"My Daddy couldn't be here,
Because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
Since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy,
And how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories
He taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses,

i have to apologize for not penning down entries these past few daes. i noe how irritating it can be to visit someones site and see that the last blog was what u read a week ago..keke my apologies for those peepx who tk their time to read my crappy life story =P well..all's well with me..juz been a little stressed out and tired! gosh this whole week has been hard on me. i have a test paper everydae of this week and whats worse is i have no time to revise! may god have mercy on my soul..thats all i can barely think of at this point of time! thank goodness its already mid week which means i only have two papers left..nothing to be happy abt YET tho..since these two papers are the hardest two of the whole lot! im dead beat.
shall blog abt the past happenings. had a chance to witness the school belle and beau contest in my sch LIVE..keke it was qte amusing coz the selected two had to stand on some podium thingy and wait for people to shake their hand to earn points -_-"" it must be qte terrorising for those two if u ask me. but both of the sch beau(guys) not bad man! i mean the winner could break dance, but i would rather the other guy win..kekek coz he was more..hmm dunno how to say but i would rather him win. =P the two belles(girls) qte pretty too..saw the show awhile and went back to study.. at abt 6pm, john, yingting and myself headed down to ssdc driving center at YCK to tk our basic theory driving test. i hope i pass te first time..and got my fingers crossed for that! hehe during the test, this man with a big mole on his nose was walking ard and when he stopped and looked at a china girls paper, he took it away frm her even when she had'nt finished her test and he told her to leave! he said in chinese " u can go now, u are disqualified! go!" i was rather shocked..apparently she ticked the answers on the question booklet..i mean come on! she cant be blamed coz they didnt tell us that we could not do that and she prob didnt noe..so poorthing and he didnt even give her a chance..and she kept asking him for a chance and for her to explain..but he juz shrugged her off..and told her to leave -_-"" well that was it..
todae..went to sch early to meet up with the guys to do some last min revision for marketing..i tot i was so dead since i knew little of the module =P but it was rather simple la..juz a lil tricky for some of the mcq questions..oh yeah and i got my jersy from wilson todae =) its nice and its no. 10! kekek it has my name printed on the back too. =) nothing much reallie happened todae. oh yeah me and tingting have named two girls in the sch "chickmunk" and "one of a kind" WAHAhha its these two girls in NYP..we have been bumping into them for the past 3 daes in a row -_- hahah but thats our personal joke..lolx..reallie funny coz we didnt noe they were classmates until we saw them walking together todae! WAHhaha funny! we did lotsa stupid things while we were studing too ..hehes shall post up some pics..

thanks xiaoxian for da lovely choc cake! hehe its yummy and its big! hahah i feel reallie bad that u had to come all da way here to pass me da cake and to buy bread. heheh but u came to see my hse rite =P hey! look whos da shy one now!!....hahahah it aint me anymore..MAuahah anywayz i went to sch to study todae, together with yingting and jianyun. at first we sneaked into one of the small rooms in the library. i said sneaked in coz u are supposed to book the room, but we didnt =) half way, a grp of students came in and told us that they booked the room so we had no choice but to leave..SIANz!! anyhowz, the library was so packed that we had to go search else where for a place to study..we went to blk L. wah theres this place at the top floor where its like an assembly grd! its cool..opn space and we wanted to study there since it was quite and no one was ard..but it was kinda hot and no tables to write..so we walked one floor down and there was this bench table and the best thing was, it was super windy there! hahah jianyun helped us to buy macs up to eat. we continued to study there and talk abt stuff =) interestiinnn stuff rite...hahaha anywayz its a secret between us 3 guys only =P hmm yeap later came home for cell grp and i juz came back frm cell =) oh yes! HAPPPPIIEEE BIRTHDAEEE tammy..will get ur prezzie next week okiee! heheh for now have to settle for nasi lemak =P okei better stop here for now..time for bed.

enjoyed myself todae =) met xiao xian at bishan mrt station at 12..she had to go get a replacement sim card coz her phone got stolen yest in sch..so poorthing! anywayz she was goin alone, so i tot i followed her down since i wanted to get my phone's back cover to opn..it juz dosent seem to want to opn! in the mrt she showed me her phone bill and it was like 200 ++ gosh! i was shocked! but when she checked it out we learnt that it was the total bill of her brother's bill and her dad's bill so not too bad..lolx..and the funny thing was when we were at the starhud shop i wanted to ask them to help me opn da phone but xiaoxian reminded me that this was a STARHUB shop and when i turned the phone there was a big m1 sticker there! hahah and we started laughing..lolx..settled her phone stuff at PS and we headed back to bishan to eat lunch and study.. we went to da interchange macs for lunch. we sat and ate and talked..left abit of the fries left coz we were too full! lolx..and at macs we saw this cute kid running ard with a balloon in one hand and he fell down TWICE at the same place! whahah super cute! hmm we studied there for qte some time..took lots of pictures that were UNFORTUNATELY deleted by some "starfish!" mUAhahah we got kinda tired and sick of studyin and decided to go walk walk in j8..we stopped by to see the movie listings, went to the action city toy shop and i showed her the squishy piggy and the mogu beanie bag pIG! hahah and we bought some chocolate snacks there..she showed me the new hillsongs cd which was for youth! it looks reallie hip! i think i shall save up for that.. we went to popular to buy my pens coz all my pens seemed to be dying on me!! gosh..until xiaoxian had to lend me her pen! oh yeah and did i mention that her textbooks are all so colourful!!! hahah everypage has like 4 colours of highlighters..kekke and she tot me cantonese! whhaha kekek shes my canto teacher now =P "lei you hou hou doc shui!" keke and "hai" and alot more but cant remeber =P hahaha after that we went to mos burger since the seats were more comfy to study! we bought some drinks she bought strawberri milkshake and i bought my icemilk tea.. she let me try the strawberri drink and it was yummy! but a lil swt..hehe abt 10 mins we were "chased" out of mos burger WAhaha coz the unty told us we coulden study here since it was peak period..SIAN! she called her fren i think her bf and she said she will only be meeting him at 730pm and it was only 630 pm..whaha so we did more walking ard..walked to best denki coz she wanted to find for her speakers..and she showed me her digicam..OH YAH!! another funny thing was on the way back frm PS..she took out her digicam and wanted to tk a photo of me..but when she wanted to on the cam she realized there was BATT! in the cam!! WHAHAHA she forgot to bring the batt!! thanks god! muahahh and i was laughing at her...lolx..we went to see clothes at seiyu and we went to muji also..we saw many cool stuff there but all too ex! hahah we took more pics there too wid my phone =) oh yeah and i went to the small m1 shop at bishan and they managed to PRY my phone opn! hahah xiaoxian said that when they were forcing my phone opn.she said my face was kan cheong! -_-"" Whahah but i was la..they were like using so much force they had to get 3 diff ppl to opn the phone -_-! kekek lucky its fine and it can opn now..which means i can transfer pics to my comp! went to kelvin and samuel and i bought a shirt and xiaoxian bought ankle socks 3 for 6 bucks! so cheap! hahah then as we were walkin to the busstop, her bf came and i left for home. what a fun dae..but tht means i didnt study! or did little! hahahs but i dun mind coz it was fun! hehe

hahas todae was fun! was doing some revision in da morning when i received a call frm xiao xian, who is also in nyp biz/it year 1 =)..she called and asked if i remebered how to do computing maths..hahahs she didnt noe how to do some questions and asked if i could go find her to teach her.. she was at bishan macs, so i washed up, and rushed down to da macs. she was with another fren. we were figuring out how to apply the cramers rule..but we were contemplating on which method to use so i did one way and she did another..WAHahah but the result was the same -_-" kekek then i thought her how to do her venn diagram question too.. she had to leave at 1pm for some extra classes in sch. but i was meeting jian yun, wilson and yingting at the same macs at 1 also ..so i continued to do some rivision and they were late! lolx.. ying ting and wilson came first and we were joking among ourselves, saying " we do one pert chart question and eat lunch and go off already la " haha we were joking only BUT thats what we did!! omg..hahah when jianyun came he juz ate and we left! we didnt even study! gosh! hahah we ended up walking ard j8 and we decided to watch a movie..hahahs ANACONDAS wah its very nice..kekek its more FUNNY than scary! lolx theres this very funny guy in the show! lolx..laughed the whole movie! i will rate it 4 popcorns outta 5.. =) after the movie we went to eat dinner and i went home coz i had the christmas musical gathering..wahs all the paticipants gathering for the first time. we had some worship then some ice breakers and food..and im in the choir..hahas yay i like to sing so that should be qte fun.. =P okej have to go do some revision b4 its too LATE! hehe

its sunday again and its special coz its teachers day! i think..hahas had free lunch in church todae coz they catered in food to acknowledge the work of the sundae sch teachers and thanks them. the food was yummy! esspecially the dessert! ahah had 3 bowls of it! lolx..anywayz i had a soccer match at 4pm. it is the church soccer league and our team made it to the semi finals already! todae we were playin another team called "Emanuel" anywayz..our team was all set and rearing to go. our mindsets were set astraight and we were giving each other encouragement! i was rested for the first half..so i watched the first half together with the Salvation Army surpporters..there were many surpporters today! wahx.. i was qte shocked..coz im not in that salvatin army branch , i was the only guy frm bishan salvation army..hahas but mostly all my frens too..the first half was a goaless draw..altho it was 0 -0, we had the better chance of both teams! came close to scoring but didnt..nearing the second half, Jeff (player/ coach) asked me to get ready and warm up..so i got up and did my stretching. i stood at the sideline and was preparing myself for the game. got my focus rite..and jeff told me to juz run through the defence since i could run..ahha he told me to jus push the ball and run and shoot on sight..well..i continued stretching and was murmuring a prayer for God to give me pace like a cheetah and strenght like a lion WHAHAH!! =P its true.. oh yah and i was murmuring to myself..com'on u are doing this for somebody..hahas i dunno why but i juz kkept that person in my thoughts and i imagined that person in the surpporters stands also..hahas, well i like to see it as a lucky charm, some ppl have rabbits foot..but mine is juz thoughts =) and when i made the sub in, all the fans were cheerin me on.."go 20!" which was my jersy number and go joell...and when i was in..i chased like crazy! and 10 mins when i got subed in i scored a goal! WHAHAHa i saw the defender with the ball and i chased up to him and b4 he coulde kick the ball, i stretched out my leg and it hit my leg and deflected to my favour..i got hold of the ball , saw the goalpost and saw the goalkeeper running out to catch the ball..but i struck the ball hard and low towards the bottom left corner. suddenly there was a moment of silence, everything stood still, i was starstruck..shocked..but when i saw the ball hit the back of the side netting it all suddenly came back to me..and i heard the surpports cheering!! and i raised up my hand and ran in celbration! the first goal of the match and i was super happy! it was exilerating..suddenly a sea of white jersys were running to me and prasing me and i was doing high 5's and 10's ahhah it great! and i was filled with more energy..kekek the second half was reallie exciting..6 goals in total! 3 we scored and 3 the opponent scored..we played till the end..and we played extra 20mins..still no goal..so we had to settle for penalties! it was really intense watching my teammates taking the penaltines! however we lost though the penalties..but it was a well fought match..enjoyed myself. and we will play for the bronze prize next week i guess..heheh anywayz will be going back to sch tmr to finish up the unix projt and to studyy!! hahah study break commences!

HAPPIE BIRTHDAY to BEN and CATHERINE!!
actually ben's was yest but i wished him in cell grp already...lolx juz tot i'll put it up! hehe and cat, enjoy this special day! no more worries and stress..let loose and play hard! ahhahs enjoy! okej i shall start my blog proper. I HATE DA STRESS!! comin frm projects, CA's gosh! dun they have any sense?!? are they nuts?? project due dates are extremely close to the test dates..how are we supposed to study and rush to complete projects at the same time?!? gosh and whats worse is, the projects are not those easy word written assignments! its programin..codes that i never seen b4, im typin and strugglin! even till an extend where a fren brokedown! gawd..anywayz..its the stress period, study break starts today! it sounds so intimidating..study break..its a stupid oxymoron to say the least! hahas okej it boils down to stress and studyin now. someone help me!! someone let me loose..SOMBODEEE SAVVVVVEEEEEE MEE - five for fighting =P

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY! *hugs* all the bestest for the year ahead and well wishes!

wahah so happy todae coz i got a new phone..yay! no more old 8250, altho i still like it for its durability and BLUE light =) hmm ive change to nokia6230 now! its nice and had loads of functions..the phone has camera and video recorder, streaming videos like news, bluetooth wireless, digital music player to name afew..gosh. anywayz this was how i ended up with the phone. left hse with my dad to pick mark up becoz he wanted to tag along to scout for a new handphone too..we went to the m1 shop at Bugis junction..i was qte surprised to see that there was little people there! hmm didnt reallie have a queue. we went frm one showcase display to another looking at the phones and its prices! gosh so many..but yet there was not one that caught my eye. it was either too expensive or not to my liking! however i was always at the samsung display coz i was interested in the x700A phone as well as the x70 =P but x70 is juz too ex and i dun reallie like the design. so i made up my mind to settle for the x700a phone..i queued up but while i was at it, i saw this list of all the phones and all its functions and i saw this phone wah it had all the functions ticked! and the x700a, altho i liked the phone and the design alot, it only had a cam and nothing else! and the price for the x700a was abt the same price as this nokia 6230 so when it was our turn to talk to the girl, we asked her abt the two phones and got more details and i ended up gettin the 6230 instead..im totally facinated by its functions! haix one must imagine that this is my first color phone after 6-7 years. started off wid a pager, then nokia3210, followed by nokia8250 and now this! fwahhh i love this phone tho! heheh yup anywayz after we purchased the phone, we walked ard a little and went to eat macs. had a drink of milo and later dad sent me and mark to j8. we picked up aaron on the way to j8 coz he wanted to get his present changed to a size bigger..what a true blue FASS..heheh unfortunately they didnt have a size bigger, so he decided to juz keep it..but he said it looks juz nice when he wears it. =P fass..sommore both of them went to the basement to buy XXL chicken! hahah its fried pieces of chicken that is sprinkled with chilli powder and seasonings..mark let me try a piece and it was rather nice..abit dry tho but the flavour was there =) we went home after that..now my phone is charging, it requires 10hrs for the first charge! weee* cant wait to wake up tmr!! woopiee..my 3rd hp in 18 years..kekke my number is still the same! aites tk carez ppl..and remeber to smile always, coz u never noe, where when and how, someone comes up to u and says! joel too ur pic! Wahhaah

HAPPY BIRTHDAE AARON!!as the president of the FAS club, i hereby announce that the biggest FAS has turned a year older! which means bigger stomach space for more food storage!!heheh god bless u boy... hmm was strugglin last night with sems project getting the bindings and all that right but somehow i juz coulden get it rite last nite! its was reallie stressss!! i stayed up till 1 doing that..however, when i had sems proj period for the first lesson today, i juz binded the files all over again..and it could work! gosh! i didnt noe whether to be happy or stupid that i stayed up juz to fail! but i managed to survive the day todae..had a vb.net test and i passed *phew* keke and exams are ard the corner! juz 2 more weeks to da papers! so quick...and study break is next week! juz came back frm kopitiam..had supper with the bdae boy and some church mates. full now. heh had a weird dream last nite..it was nice but weird =P hmmm okei pen more later..

the game todae was BAD to say the least! we did pretty well for the first half, held the opponents to 2-1 score..but i guess we were all tired for the second half thats why we lost..anywayz the time to play the match was out of this world..1pm! hot sun above us and it was not hot it was BLAZING hot! wah i think i got sunburn..=/ hmm well i picked up afew injuries, scratches and cuts but it isnt too bad.it stings abit tho..anyhowz away frm that, we stopped at raffles mrt stop to eat at manfreds burger king which he is workin at..wahah he manage to get us coupons! hehe so we juz sat at burgerking and talked abt stuff for abt an hour or more..talked abt class stuff and the match and other stuff..was interesting. came home with jianyun. somehow my sis kept repeating the "someone to die for" frm the spiderman soundtrack..its a super nice song!

sorry fellow feathered blog readers for not updating my blog for such a long time, have been reallie busy and bogged down with assignments, projects and what not..sch is starting to suck for me! its the period of stress..and not to mention, CA's in 2 weeks time! gosh..im such a dead duck..anywayz shall blog about my day..played street soccer wid the guys at 10 am. went to sch half an hour earlier to do the UNIX assignment with wilson, val and xiaodong. however, we didnt noe how to apply the commands so i endded up helping xiaodong wid the sems proj assignment..hahax thanks aud for teaching and helping me! okie okie i will give u ur big treat that u have been asking for..Wahha hmm gawd the Unix proj is killin me! its super hard coz im not reallie familiar with the commands yet and its hard since the project requires us to create all types of files and rubbish! HELP someone!! sooo stressed up.fussed.blood shot eyes. sigh..gotta pull through it. been down lately too, so juz ignore me if i'm cranky. hmm went to umbro warehouse during the 3 hr break..they went to check out the prices for the jersy and the most stupid thing was only two ppl frm our grp could go in to see -_-"" so the rest of us juz stayed outside and chatted while they were inside. they took reallie long! dunno what they were doing also..after that we went to tao payoh to eat dinner. we ate KFC coz wilson had coupons. i ate the zinger meal, mash potato, cheesy fries, pineapple pie..and i was still hungry. kekek the trip back was the funniest! we were talking abt how manfred was the AH PEH of the class..Whaha reallie funny! and we were talking abt john's pungent fart..omg that was a silent killer..a layer of thick pungent gross smelling fart diffused to our area! gosh..Wahhaha had lesson till 9pm juz now. and after that we headed down to JLN KAYU to eat supper..pratas! yummy..i had mee goreng, cheese prata and 2 cans of jia jia teh..Wahah full now! tired.drained and gonna have a soccer match tmr! hoep i wont be tooo tired to perform =P

started sch early todae..was really tired in the morning =P dragged myself outta bed and showered, slipped on some clothes and headed for sch..as usual the south canteen was crowded with yr 1's and peepx.. and i think i saw xiaoxian..my fren but then i didnt noe if it was her..so i juz took it that it wasnt her..later when i reached home she msged me in msn " i think i saw u in south canteen juz now" -_-"" whahaha the funny thing was i walk rite pass her! lolx..what a joke!! =P hmm another funny thing that happen was, MEI ZHU was in our lect hall when we went in early after lunch. kekek we teased john alil..but yeah nth much. we gave her the nickname rui en..coz yingting told me she looked like rui en..hmm yeap and later in the last lesson, john shouted "OMG! what the hell!" i was shocked coz i was sitting beside him and was wondering what was going on.. he was staring at his comp in horror! hahah apparently, manfred typed in NAX under johns name saying "any pretty girls wanna intro?" WHAHAH i read i also laugh..kekek poor innocent john =) anywayz pls pray for him..he is undergoing his operation for his hand, removing the metal pieces in his hand! yup we wish john a speedy recovery.. yeap tk carez bro.. omg! today i ran 2 rounds ard bishan park -_-"" at first wilson and yingting told me to wait for them downstairs at 7pm..i waited and waited..streched evreypart of my muscle and they were still not there! i tot i was played out! so i went ahead and did one round and went to the fitness corner and when i was runing the last stretch to my hse i heard someone shouting my name "JOEL!" i turned and saw wilson and yingting and his friend walking to the park and i was like -_-"""" anywayz i decided to run another round with them..and now i'm super shacked. tired. heheh but it was refreshing..have been watching alot of olympics lately =) i remeber having a favourite gymnast and her name was kourkina frm russia..but now she looks so grown up! my gawd..hahas

whao have been hanging out with my class guys alot lately..its good coz we get to relate more with each other and become closer! hmm i met the guys at j8 at 5pm juz now and wilson drove us down to bugis..yet another bumpy ride sitting at the back of the pick up =P but beggers cant be choosers and its a free ride so no complaints..yeap we went to eat at seoul gardens at bugis! ahaha it was very funny! alan, wilson, yingting, lootwang and myself went earlier and we started eating first..later john and roger came.. the whole time yingting and alan were trying to jio this waitress at seoul garden -_-.. they did stuff like ask her to change cups, change the hot plate, asking for more garlic -_-"""" really pengz.. hahaha lucky i wasnt sitting at thier table but it was juz beside ours..haha but it was funny at the ending coz when a young malay girl came to clear our table they asked her abt that chinese girl.. then we started to talk and we learnt that they were "freshies" frm NYP too! fwahh..hahah anywayz the malay girl said " which chinese girl? u mean MY CLASSMATE??" whahaha i was so amused! anywayz good luck to find that girl in SBM..hhaha her name is caiyun issit? something like that la..so if u are her and u so happen to be reading this pls go look for alan =) WHAHAHha okej so much for my dating agency.. but it was reallie funny! hahah coulden stop laughing and alan was all shy and he was bugging us to leave..kekekk poorthing. was super full. ate alot of icecream..=) we headed down to kallang river after that..it was another beautiful sight! couples strolled along the path and the water is so calm and nice! could see the indoor stadium and national stadium in the background..and those beautiful lights! hehe what a lovely dae..shall go slp now to help my tummy digest// pengz

life is a roller coaster! i mean litterally one when u sit in wilson's lorry behind! wahha there was bumpps, humps, swinging frm left to right and front and back! wilson, john, jianyun, yingting, roger and myself went for supper after class..class ended at 8 tooday coz all of us finished our assignment early and could go off.so we decided to head down to newton circus to eat. wah we ordered alot again! first the sotong came, the sauce was POWER! very spicy + swt..wah perfect! and then there was sting ray, egg omelete with oyster, char kuey tiao, hokkien mee, rojak, satay, and drinks..wah our table was filled! haha we sat there happily eating and talking and havin fun..then when we finished, we were deciding where to go next, yingting suggested to go esplanade to sit and talk..so we agreed and headed down..but on the way they changed course and went to marina south instead..they wanted to go see the skyscrappers and fullerton at night. we walked ard the park and walked to the further end where we could sit by the rivers edge and hear the crashing waves and see the bridge and the esplanade in the background..whao the view is amazing! romantic.. and we were playing with the big sundial there..haha wilson shook it until it look like it was abt to roll out anytime! haha we took pictures there and sat there for awhile..then later on the way back i piggy back wilson!! omg..heavy ass..lolx..ran abit with him on my back..wahx then we went to the bowling alley to buy some drinks and headed home..hahah it was fun today! will post up some of the pics when i get them.. =) wishing jianyun and celest goodluck for their auditions! hope they get selected! hehe

yet another fun dae! yeap its national dae and the mood is set..but whats more fun is that im headin to malaysia..weee* woke up at about 9 this morning and was told to pick out a few formal clothes..i picked out afew and we headed to a bridal shop?!? but apparently they tk family photos too..anyhowz there was clothes that they provided lor! wah all the costumes and all that. the first shot was us wearing the SA uniform..the second we were wearing formal clothes and i wore a suit..whahah hmm the third was a japanese outfit! so coolz..we took alot of shots in total and the photographer was awesome! hmm yeap will post up the pics soon when i get them..omg and on the way back, we were stuck and literally stuck in a jam in jb! wah it was bumper to bumper..and we took 2hrs to drive 3 km!!!! what the..my dad said that even if we crawled it will be faster -_-""" anywayz came home and caught singapore idol on tv WAHHAH super funny! banana man! wahha bth..the sian thing is that i have a vb test tmr! accompanied by cisco exam to be done, there are 3 exams 9, 10 and 11...and marketing project, database mgt project and COS project! wah very stress now..oh man im off now! how can my LIGHTYEARS be like this?!? u bring light in..u bring light in..

whao its been a long time since i last enjoyed my dae this much! heh today was audreys bdae celebration but not her actual bdae yet..and this is how the story goes. i left hse at 4:40pm, was going to meet the whole grp at marina at 5:30pm. i thought i will juz make it on time or even be late! however when i reached marina mrt station, i took out my hp and it was only 5pm! gosh i was like half an hour early..anyhowz waited there all alone until audrey in a bright green shirt appeared..whahah we sat at the station for abt 15 mins more and benson, de wei and celest came. nelly came alil late and we headed down to the steamboat area. we ate alot! live prawns, chicken, crabs, toufu..and tons more..wah full to da max! jianyun, roger, daphane, winnie and kwee siang met us at the place. we continued to eat and tk photos =P was very fun trying to siam all the splashing oil..kekek omgosh and my blue shirt was covered in spots and splats of oil!! so dead! hmm after dinner was BOWLING! wahaha havern touched bowling for ages! roger is so pro in bowling la! his ball can curve like banana.. wah keke and i was in the same screen as roger and celest! omg two pros! sommore celest bluff us, sae she lost her skill. craps! her score was like strike spare..her frames were / X / X omg...haha lucky i manage to get afew strikes and spares at the last minute, and get above 100 pts too..=P but yeah it was fun! im sure everyone enjoyed that..we walked to a small lil park and started kicking a bottle of water ard like a soccer ball..hahah and de wei kicked it and it burst! and the water splashed on benson! hahah *laughs* hmm we went to the park coz celest wanted to show us fullerton in the night with all the lovely lights..hmm some of them left frm there and 6 of us, jianyun, kweesiang, nelly, celest, audrey and myself walked frm that lil park all da way to marina mrt! and it was abt a 15 mins walk..*pengz* when we reached the station the girls started to panic coz they didnt noe if they could catch the last ride since they had to change rides at cityhall.. audrey was like paniky..and she was all sad lookin..but lucky she manage to rush to catch her train waiting at raffles interchange! ahhah she ran alright! and she was so happy frm the smile on her face..whahah funny! hmm now was nelly and celest turn. they knew they didnt have the last mrt..but they had to rush to catch the last BUS! and they ran i suppose..ks followed celest home i guess =) yeap so me and jianyun took the mrt train back. halfway jy said "hey why not we stop at sommerset station and tk the bus back" and i said yah thats good since we might miss the last bus if we continued to bishan station..so we got off at sommerset and took the last bus back..weee now im home! tired but satisfied =) happy early birthdae auddy! thanks for the treat..hmm do i owe u one now? wahahha anyhowz..really did enjoy myself..hope u did too! coz these are the daes of our LIGHTYEARS!

i dunno why but suddenly i'm very in to drawing lately. i think i shall keep the options opn to be a designer for clothes or cartoonist or something! its fun to juz sketch drawings, coz u can juz draw whatever u want and however u want it to look! i shall go dig out my old sketch book and hopefully create my first book of designs =P well todae was tiring..had the long, 3hr networking lab lesson to start the dae off..helped loo twang with his cisco and we went through our previous test paper and i passed! wooopiee.. happy! hmm audrey's birthday is coming up and shes celebrating her bdae over at marina south!! steamboat! yummy..i shall do the fasses proud there and eat up heaps of foood!! hmm passed celest da money todae coz i sharin prezzie with them..heh cant sae what it is coz its a secrett! shhh..hmm todae so paiseh coz celest was talking to winnie outside..then i was like err should i go over now..then another part of me was like are u mad!?! haix but i juz went over anywayz =P and then winnie said "orhh u owe celest money ar!" wahha funnyy..hmm oh yeah my class girls wants the whole class to wear red tmr coz its national dae..not tmr but on mondae! so dun be shocked if u see us all in red and NO! its not chinese new year =) hehe whao i reprinted and made the final changes to the database mgt proj so i guess its all ready to be passed up and we are ready for the presentation..ooo lala hmm wah i juz saw the news and they were filming the chan8 show in town!!! and fiona xie and a few other girls were running da streets in bikinis! omg.. after sch today, i think it was graduation dinner or something coz there were tons of grown up looking peepx all in da atrium and they all looked so well dress and "old" hahah hmm i think i will be one of them coming back to sch next time for the gradutation dinner..how fun! cant wait for that to come..will see all my grown up mates, for these are my LIGHTYEARS!

wah i love wednesdaes coz the whole day is juz lectures which means...no assignments!! keke hmm didnt reallie pay attention in lects today..bad boy? naww i juz didnt have the mood todae. lolx i spent the entire last lecture, networking drawing! hahah hmm strange. ended sch today at 3pm and the girls decided to watch a movie. they asked us along and we agreed. the plan was to go watch "ella enchanted" but the guys didnt want to watch it coz they said it was too "kiddish" but we were going to watch it anywayz coz crystal said she didnt want to watch a horror film, "the VILLAGE". however, when they were at the ticket booth, crystal said she bought "the village" tix coz the guys were all for the horror film. WARNING! unless u are rich and have lots of money to spend, do not watch the village! its a hoax! FAKE! not a single ghost in it! its not like what the trailer looks! its not abit scary at all! kekek im rating the movie 1 1/2 stars only! hmm and u noe what.. what do u think the movie cleaner finds most on the floor after every show. POPCORN SEEDS!! wahahh i bought a hotdog to munch on and lootwang and alan both shared popcorn and bought the big cup! they coulden finish so they gave me the popcorn..lolx so many unpopped seeds and i juz threw them on the floor coz no where else to put..ahahha and the floor was filled with seeds after the movie! =P sorry cleaner! geez.. after the show we went to courts and ying ting but this radio..hahah wah the bass is power man! we shopped ard the furniture area, lazing on the sofas and stuff.. for once the girls were tired of the guys shopping too much! wahhaha what a joke and we made fun of them. we went to have dinner together and now im home. oh yeah and i juz realised that im supposed to be doing a marketing proj todae! wah stresss must start doing! dieeee...

im blogging at this hour! it means only one thing, im bored!! haha woke up qte early today. fixed up some breakfast and sat down to do some RAD tutorials. im gearing up for the coming lab test =) hmm its qte interesting to come up with ur own GUI's (graphical user interface) and juz play ard with the options. completed one whole practical and watched TV. caught my fav cooking show, "the naked chef" jamie olivier! hes a cool mate. after that i decided to create my very first photo album. its done with the help of 'multiply' its something like frenster but i use it for the sole purpose of getting my pics up so that u guys can tk a look, its good too coz u can put ur own word texts =). anywayz heres my first album and its the photos which i took in my trip to THAILAND. so ya enjoy the pics. i will be coming up with more albums and stuff like that but ya for now heres the link

argh i'm suffering frm lack of slp! didnt slp a wink last nite but was tossing and turning ard. when i opn my eyes in the pitch dark room its like fully alive! everything is focused everything is still crystal clear the only problem was that it was 4 am in the morning! sian..started the dae off like a zombie, dragged myself outta bed and headed for sch. Drats! it was raining.what luck todae! and whats worse! my frens are starting their monkey business again. those bunch of cunnin weasels! i tot u all stopped for the better this yr but no! omg.. hope it dosent affect anything. anywayz i slept in jessica's lect todae...was too damn slpy. lucky wilson drove me home today..if not i will be dragging myself ard.

today we received two new cadets into our service. they will be attached to our church for the next 9 mths! its good to have them coz they are a real funny bunch. lolx. when it was cadet agustine's time to introduce himself, he went up and said "hi, i am cadet augustine not mangostein!!" wahah what a funny chap! anywayz..had leaders meeting after church service. it was funny!! mat was going "nowsadays!" and when they were talking abt the upcoming christian boot camp. they were doing exrcises and singing christian songs with funny actions -_-" esspecially fass aaron. omg and he ate a packet of duck rice with 4 packets of chilli sauce! wah! only a true blue fass can survive that amount.. oh yesh now for the main event.. i finally stepped into whitley field! after a staggering 8 mths of no training, i tot i was going to die with all the physical training but lucky for me, we only ran two rounds ard the field and did sprinting and stuff..but coach said he was light with us today since it was the first dae and there weere many new comers..omg! next week will be da start of PHYSICAL x100 training! today the pitch was muddy and i regret wearing my white jersy coz when training ended, i was like a dalmation! okie wait that is calling myself a dog..hmm but u get the idea. muddy and gross. came home showered and had steamboat with our neighbour. will be having morning class tmr so i better tuck in soon. thanks gerome for the vb book, im sure it will come in handy! lolx..

today is the last dae of july and it was well spent i must say..i was doing some RAD tutorials and talking to celest and aud when suddenly *beep* *beep* "Eh joel u wanna go for ndp tonite?" it was aaron and his bro managed to get us 2 tix!! wah then he said to get ready by 3pm and he would be coming over to my place. so i bath, got ready and rushed down to catch the same bus as him. we stopped over at junction8 to pack dinner to the stadium. he suggested the 20 piece nuggets and i tot we were sharing a box. so i passed him the money and i went to the toilet first. when i came back, i was shocked to see the cashier packing 2 boxes!! of 20 piece nuggets!! then i was like "aaron! are u mad..we are only going for ndp not war. then i saw the cashier like laughing..anywayz we took the train down to kallang. the train was super duper packed with red shirts, sea of red. pushing shoving and survival of the fittest! we waited at the main entrance for mark to pass us the tix. wah when he came he was in the soldiers uniform wid blue oakley shades, berret and a earpiece set! wah so coolz! he managed to get us two tix so nice! he was in charge of the choir stuff and the choir is awesome! the color combi and the changing of colours, juz spectacular! we got ourselves a funpack each and quickly went in to get a good seat..and i good seat we got! we could see everything, the choir, the formations and of coz the FIREWORKS! the funpack was filled with goodies and theres even a torch in the shape of a nokia handphone -_-"" hahah it even has a camera hole! how i wish it was a real phone..kekek. aaron, omg, didnt stop eating since we arrived. he was eating packet after packet of the penuts and snacks and our 20 piece nuggets! hahah he is really a big fass! hehe the parade was rather fun on the whole, doing the kallang wave, waving the small singapore flag, singing songs. the nice parts were the civil defence doing the flying fox above us and the commandos doing the free fall off the light towers! wah its a long drop down and they didnt even touch the wall. the paratroopers, the contingents, and the FIREWORKS! wah the fireworks were da best! they lit up the entire pitch dark sky with plenty of fireworks..some were big some were small but i liked those that were sparkly and were like slowmotion when they exploded! wah i juz stood there and admired the display..i wonder how many millions of dollars they shot into the air todae =P hmm oh yeah and there was the airforce fly by.. there was also this segment where they showed a video clip on kids and what they intend to be when they grow up, there was this boy who said he wanted to be a police officer so that he could keep the playground safe for kids to play in..wah that show was nice! yeap thx aaron and mark for letting me experience ndp this yr lolx.. me and aaron took some pics, rather lame, got some pics of food too! hahah i was dipping my nugget into curry sauce =) hee a shot for the fass album.. wah started the day off with a test! reached sch 15 mins early becoz of the stupid test and as it is, it was 8 am in the morning..the test was okie la started off abit blur ,getting use to the sorting tool and functions but managed to complete the paper. i didnt expect the paper to be this easy i thought it would be veryy hard! anywayz since i was in the first batch who did the test, we had a break before the next lesson. a 2 hr break -_-" tawfiq and myself went to the south canteen. drank bubble tea and ate kaya bread =P we sat down and talked abit before going to the lecture rm..oh yeah b4 we went to the lect rm both of us went to the shopping arcade in sch and we went into the hardware shop. i didn't noe they sold music cds there! wah so cool.. they sell most of the latest english and chinese cds and i bought a cd "2004 grammy nominees" the songs are reallie nice. omg its starting to rain! gotta go.. close windows..laterz

eating dinner now, salmon with spicy bean sauce and mixed vegetables soup, my favourite soup! hahas hmm had lectures for the whole day todae! lucky it was only half day today and teacher even let us off early for the last lesson =P he let us off at 2:30 keke. we went to play basketball! whao i must say i enjoyed myself.. havernt worked those pair of legs for a loooooooonnnnngggg time kekek we played full court . 5 on 5 our team consisted of myself, wilson, loo twang, wilsons's 2 other friends and another guy.. we dominated for the first part and won a game of 5 points later! fwahh the funny thing was after the match a guy frm the other team came over to shake our hands.. and when he came up to me he said " wah you not bad you noe.." and i replied " no la, i only can jump" wahhaha anywayz it was drizzling abit so we decided to go into the shelter and we watched jian yun coaching the freshies for swimming..wahahh no actually we were looking at the girls..lolx! hmm they were learning how to jump into the pool the "proper" way but it seemed that most of them went "splot", "PIAK" and one guy even said ouch when he came out! hahah it was funny! keke oh yeah and thx aud for the vb.net software. hmm i think someone committed suicide in bishan mrt station. i think its qte sad. oh yeah! am having a networking test tmr! and it aint fair coz im in the first half of the attendance sheet which means i have to go sch at 8! while the rest get to go sch at 9! wah not fair!! =P omg and u noe what! this morning during business marketing lesson the teacher was marking attendance and she called me DOREEN! what the -____-""" pengz and yingting was laughing awy wah that one really crosses the line..jewel was not so bad but doreen no way!

todae sunday service as usual. major Dunkinson was funny today! he was giving the sermon on a high ranking soldier that had leprosy and had to find prophet elijah for help.. and one of the stories apart frm the sermon, he said " there are many great people BUTT..." the point he was getting across is that no matter how great u are there are bound to have faults. so he used bill clinton as an example, he said " Bill clinton was a good president BUTTT" he would say the "but" in a very low histerical way and it was funny! okie went to junction 8 after service and ate at kim san leng. had duck rice and yong tau fu. delicious! walked ard j8 and headed back home..shortly after that we went to SAFTI coz eugene was commissioning frm officership today and he invited us to go. its reallie interesting the way they march and parade and the slow march, CAP THROWING! hahah i'm inspired yet again to become an officer next time! i must! lolx *prays hard* okie if i'm not wrong i'm gonna have a test tmr.. and i havern touched any books yet..kekek im so gonna pass! okei i better slp early..congrats to eugene again..SIR! and i think my tag board is down so juz hold ur comments for awhile.. will fix the problem soon..till den keep laughing coz thats what we always wanna do! ;D

i juz realise that it was racial harmony afew daes back..hahah actually i knew coz i saw some chinese girls in saris hmm anyhowz, tests are ard the corner, my phone is dying on me, something seems to be wrong with the vibrations so when i check my phone its always "2 messages" or mailbox is full..arghhh need to get a replacement soon! and im havin a real stuck up time now.. for some reason i wish i was back in secondary sch =/ those were the daes we used to lock class mates in da cupboard and throw the cupboard ard and play soccer in the classroom! even when sch ended at 2pm we would stay back in sch to play soccer till 5plus..hahah those were the daes that sch ended at 2pm!!! now..haix 9.30pm what a huge difference. grow up joel! gettin tired of sch already? naw not juz yet but i need ta lay back and relax frm time to time. cant get to fussed up at a time like this.. back to today, saw nelly and aud when i arrived at sch, was 15 mins early for class so i started to work on my hardcopy RAD assignment. lessons are pretty much all da same in poly..its either drop dead boring or fun! like duhh joel..i noe its 130 in da morning now but WAKE UP. went to ssdc in ang mo kio to book for basic theory. there was no queue so we got our date and its on da 7th of sept. well hope all things that start well will end well.. please let me pass all. for goodness sakes im only 18 ferrari? lamborghini? rolls royce? sigh dun think too far a mini cooper will do. went for supper wid the guys again..went to eat prata at upp thompson area, had 2 egg prata and a paper prata. how yummy. went for cell and had small disscussion wid my grp..went for a sec supper..man i'm feeling all drained now. NO! i dun stink.. but im tired! go slp? yeah that sounds like a good idea for now..

today was just like any other ordinary sch day, labs and lectures. wore my fcuk fashion shirt and most of my frens said orhhh bad word -_-""" pengz.. hehe anywayz many funny things happened today! During the first lab lesson teacher was talking abt us being the "Y" generation batch and he suddenly said "GY" and wilson, jianyun and myself started to laugh very loudly!! hahah coz its an old joke..keek only the guys noe it i think. lolx. oh yeah and during the lab lesson i saw crystal signalling to wilson to ask teacher for a break, she was doing the halftime hand signal to tell wilson to ask teacher for a break..so i juz shouted "EH crystal u want break issit?" hahah the teacher heard and said "u all need a break? okie take 10 mins" hahah then we started laughing again. hmmx went to the usual coffee shop for lunch today..the whole place was packed but we managed to get a table. benson, nicole and dewei was there too.. oh and another event also happened today!!! kekek but it will be kept a secret to protect the rights of a classmate! lolx! if u are reading this, i am innocent!! reallliieee =) anyhowz i'm going down to ssdc tmr during the 3 hr break with yingting to book for basics. but i still dunno if i shud learn car or motor..wanna get my vespa =P hees! went home with wilson and jianyun. ate icecream at the interchange, theres so many NEW icecream shops ard that area..are they trying to make nyp students fat or something? ahhas oh yeah and i juz spent my last hour installing vb.net 5 cds in total and after that, the program cant seem to opn the files i saved frm sch.. -_-"" pengzz! help me someone!

juz ate two yummy juicy slices of pineaples..hehe i cant believe i actually stayed up till 3 in da morning to do sch work -_- haha lucky i wasnt alone, celest, audrey and jianyun was also doing cisco! haahh dreaded cisco..and i woke up early today, phonecall woke me up!~ arghh hahas hmm for some reason i wanted to go running today. i slipped on my new running shoes and ran a round, round bishan park. hehe managed to run the whole park without stopping but i can tell that i have lost alot of stamina. maybe coz i was sick for the past week but yeah have to start training my stamina. more frequent runs! =) oOo today the "plastics" went to watch MEAN girls wahahah, watching themselves on the screen, woops* =P i added in a new song to da blog..OMG today i was browsing da tv and LIGHTYEARS came on! wah they are starting frm the very first episode..coolz! i also went to check out the website for the singapore sch belle and beau competition..ahhahas its rather funny! anyhowz its back to sch tmr..full dae of lectures -_-""' hope ta see some of the beau contestants in sch..wAHhahax!!
