Habitrail Environments: Pros: 1. Comes with a variety of attatchments all that interconnect with one another. This cage has endless possibilities in which you can create your own cage design. 2. Made of durable plastic. Helps in cleaning. 3.Easy access door. Helps when feeding and giving water.
4. When purchased, usually comes complete with food dish and wheel. Might cost a little more, but other neccessities are already included. Just need a water bottle. Cons: 1. Plastic can be chewed. Even though it is made with heavy plastic to reduce amount of damage done when chewed, it is still possible. Destruction process is slow, but over time, can be ruined. 2. Some attatchments are expensive. Adding on is fun, but can be expensive. 3. Small. Most Habitrail Environments are small and unless you plan on adding later, it is best to choose a larger cage for your mice.

S.A.M. Clubhouse Kit: Pros: 1. Similar to the Habitrail Habitat. Has many different tubes, wheels, etc. attatchments that will add onto the clubhouse. 2. Made of thick plastic which helps during cleaning. 3. Full view of your mice through the clear plastic. 4. Also comes complete with wheel and water bottle. Cons: 1. Plastic will eventually be chewed. Pieces at most risk of being chewed are the plastic rings that connect each tube.
2. Attatchments can be rather expensive when adding on to the clubhouse. Extra pieces can range from $4.00 to $20.00 depending on what you buy. 3. Ventalation is sometimes a concern. There isn't much breathing room for your mouse and condensation can also occur.
