ALL ABOUT ME!!
(and a little more...)
My name is
Jessica Diane Stringer.
I am 17 years old and am a Junior at West Marion High School.

In my free time, I am always with my fiance, Kelton Bates.
He is the most wonderful person in my life.  Everything I am is because he loves me.  We will be married on
May 15, 2001, at 6:00 p.m., at New Hope Baptist Church.  That day cannot arrive soon enough for me.

When Kelton and I are not together, I like to read.  Two of  my favorite authors are Tami Hoag and Michael Crichton.  I also enjoy a few romance novels here and there.  HEY! What natural-born female dosen't?

You might think that my life is boring.  But I love my life and I try to live it the its fullest.
I am very lucky because I have a loving and close-knit family.

I have two older siblings.  that makes me the baby! Yes. I am spoiled.

The oldest, Meranda (we call her Mandy), is 23 years old.  She is deaf.  She is special to me and I sometimes feel like
she is my baby sister instead of the other way around.

Corey, my brother, is stuck in the middle.  He is 18 years old.  Even though we don't talk as much as we used to,  we are still very close.

Mom, that's "Dianna" to you, is like my best freind.  I love her very much and we have a special relationship.

My step-father, Jerrel, is a good man.  Even though he has his moments, we still get allong well.

My daddy died when I was 9.  I miss him a little more each day.

One of my dreams in life is to become a veteranarian.  I love animals and I would be proud to make my living by helping them.  I have many other interests in my life but I think they can settle for being hobbies of mine.
Many animals live on this hill.  But only a few hold a special place in my heart.  My most beloved pet of all is my two year old cockerspanial-lab-mixed dog, Sherlock.  He is very protective of me.  When people come to visit that he dosen't like or know he will bark and growl and snap at them untill they leave.  I never kept a boyfreind for more than a week if he didn't like them.  I belive that he has that sixth sense, so if he didn't trust them they could count themselves as good as gone.  The first time Kelton came to my house Sherlock barked twice when he drove up.  A hair never raised and he never growled.  I knew that Kelton was worth having if my precious babie approved of him. Thanks to Sherlock I am more happy now than I have ever been.  Who knows...if it were not for Sherlock I might have ended up with the wrong person before I ever had a chance.

Sherlock's daughter, Kiya (k-eye'-ya), is also very special to me.  She is six months old and no bigger than the speakers on my computer.  She is very playful and has the sweetest temperment.  Kiya is most definatly the most spoiled dog my family has ever had.  My mom even likes her.  I hate to break it to Mom, but, Kiya is going with Kelton when he moves (which he is in the process of doing now).

I have five rabbits.  The first pair, Reuben and Abby, I got for my 16th B-Day.  They are my favorite ones and I spoil them terribly.  Kelton gave me a pair of simese rabbits for Easter.  Their names are Cleo and Cloe.  They are very curious rabbits and watching them makes me laugh.  Alabaster is my lone rabbit.  He is the only one I kept from the latest litter Reuben and Abby had a few months ago.  He is very shy but he enjoys it when I let him hop around the field on a leash.

Well.  Thats all about me...and a little more.  Have a nice day!
Bradley Joe Stringer, my Daddy, died of brain cancer in 1993.  I was his little girl and I miss him very much.  He told my mom, once, that he was not afraid of dying...he was afraid of being forgotten.
