These pictures are sacred to me... because they remind me of a time when I had Jessie in my life... this page may not seem important to everyone, since not everyone was blessed by having Jessie enter their lives... but I hope that by making this page, some people may see the life and spirit that she possessed. I think it is important that her memory lives on, so for all those who took the time to look at, and read about, this special girl... thank you so much... it means a lot to me, it really does. May God bless you and watch over you always.
Taking ones own life is never the answer... it hurts so many people... more than you could ever imagine...
This is Jessie when she and I went to Universal Studios sometime during our middle school years... Jessie was a free spirit. She loved to be goofy (note the hat above)... at this young age, I was very shy and reserved. I always admired her and was constantly in awwe of her openness, her ability to not care what other people thought. I have since grown up and would like to think I inherited some of these attributes from her..

To the left, Me, Jessie, and her little brother Ryan, push the tubes into the water... We had a lot of fun this vacation because the rapids were high since it had been raining for about 2 weeks strait before we arrived. We camped out on the shore next to this spot in the creek.
This is Jessie standing on the balcony of the house we rented in the Keys in the summer of '94. We rented the house out for a week, it was on the water so we could take the boat out for a ride and go skiing and snorkeling.

Jess (right) and I (left) are snorkeling along a reef in the keys... this year the water was particuarly clear, and the scenes were beautiful. Too bad you cannot see the reef in the picture.
On our way to the Keys in 1993, we stopped by my aunt and uncles house in Pemborke Pines (right off of Miami). This is in front of their house. Ryan, Patti, Jessie, Tiff, A. Mary Ann, Mike (dad), Me, Theresa & Patti (my cousins, and Nita (mom). I'm guessing U. David took the pic, not sure where Lena is.

Poem at the Wake Service for Jessie... AFTER GLOW I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways; Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun Of happy memores that I leave When life is done.

I had two best friends in the whole world throughout my childhood. Their names were Jessie and Rosie. Our mothers had been best friends, so we grew up together. We played together, we had birthdays together, and we went on vacations together. As we grew older, we went to separate schools and drifted apart. Though we were not as close as we were when we were younger, we were still very close. On Novemmber 18, 2003 Jessie, in a moment of despair, took her own life. No words could ever descibe the pain of loosing a best friend. And no words can describe the anguish of knowing it was something she chose. In my heart, I know Jessie didn't want to die. She was a beautiful and intelligent young woman and she had a lot to live for. At 4am in the morning a confused girl felt a moment of helplessness and did something drastic. Something that can never be taken back... The funeral was held in Clearwater... soooo many friends of Jessie showed up. It was the most horrible thing to go through. Many old friends from when we were younger showed up, too. To see these adults (whoom I have looked up to since I was a young child) seem so frail and sad... it was awful. To all the parents, mine, Rosie's, everyone's... Jessie was like a daughter to them... and they all felt the loss of one of their own children. It was something none of them ever thought they would have to go through. No parent should ever have to see their baby buried... It's just NOT the natural order of things. I wish I could know exactly what she was thinking that led her to this. I know if she had a chance to think about it later, she would never have done it. I love my best friend with all my heart and will think about her always and forever. The one comfort in this horrible ordeal is that Jessie has finally found peace.

"A million words would not bring you back, I know because I've tried. Neither could a million tears, I know because I've cried."
QUOTES: Though our memories of today will soon be yesterdays, they will live forever in our tomorrows." -Isabel Urbano "Grief is a sign that we loved something more than ourselves.... grief makes us worthy to suffer with the rest of the world." -Joan Chittister "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world." -Unknown "Something done in an instant can cause heartache for a lifetime." -Unknown "The most important things to say are those which often I did not think necessary, because they were too obvious." -Andre Gide "What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us, what we have done for others and the world is immortal." -Albert Pike "God give me the Serenity to accept things I cannot change, Courage to change what I can, and Wisdom to know the difference." -Unknown "Nothing that grieves us can be called little: by the eternal laws of proportion a child's loss of a doll and a king's loss of a crown are events of the same size." -Mark Twain "It's a pleasure to share one's memories. Everything remembered is dear, enduring, touching, precious. At least the past is safe - though we don't know it at the time. We know it now. Because it is in the past; because we have survivied. -Susan Sontag

** These are all the pictures I have... if you have some pictures that you would like to have added you may send them to me (Angie) at [email protected]. Please put the word Palmisano the subject area so I do not think it is junk mail and delete it. Also, include a brief description with the photo (year, names of people in it, etc.) If you have any suggestions, comments, or anything else you would like to add or have linked to this web page, then PLEASE email me. (This also includes any personal poems, pictures, personal statements, web links, music links, artwork, personal contact information, a nice quote, ANYTHING, etc. that you would like to see added.)
(I apologize for the geocities guestbook. I do not have control over it. Try to make messsages BRIEF because IT WILL CUT OFF the end of your entry! :-( This is unfortunate because I see that already several entries in the guestbook have been cut off (in the middle of sentences), and there is no way to see what they were supposed to say. I know that each of your messages are important and it saddens me that myself and others are unable to read them. If you would like to say a lot, please make use of the additional box I have created, or feel free to create a second entry in the book.)
