Crime in Trinidad & Tobago can be solved in a regional context.
Call A POLITICAL TIGER for the disempowered heavily sedated LION. You cannot fight the rulers. Let democratic capitalist right-wing systems fight Hamas militant, socialist/communist left -wing systems. Google has a very good search system. Let "Buller-killer-ironman" stay with Buller-kingpin "gunman" in lodge/secret societies."

You seem to have missed the point. Hypnotism of course takes quite a bit of training. In the same way, one can train the mind through meditation to perceive things more subtly and in-depth. Reason and logic are also a result of conditioning and not some innate set of rules in the human mind. When you examine things closer and closer, the parameters of course change as in quantum mechanics and relativity. This conversation is becoming rather pointless and redundant. Farewell pjioayncoe..
And what is the ultimate tool of hypnosis? TV.
This is not true regarding the blue apple. Hypnotists have been able to convince people of as radical a thing as someone who is directly in front of them is not actually there and the person hypnotized comes out of trance and is able to see directly through the person they have been made to believe is not there. Likewise people can be made to taste beef when they are eating fruit through hypnotism. There is a very complex relationship between "reality" and perception/conception.
As far as "reality" is concerned (which is where I think this discussion started), there is nothing inherent about anything that makes it one thing. I.e.- A does not equal A. This is firstly b/c everything is always in flux and never completely discrete. Secondly, b/c we are not capable of perceiving anything but the smallest fraction of "reality," so what we perceive is only one version. I return to my belief that everything in reality is really one creation with differentiated aspects.
At any rate, your idea includes something patently "mystical" (i.e.- soul). Even mind is a nebulous concept with no consensus on it's objective constitution. For the purpose of this discussion, you seem to be trying to defend an "objectivist" viewpoint and have disdain for Scriabin's (and others') "mystical" inclinations. I never subscribe to any "-ism" as it is a mold which will restrict independent thought. Not that you do either.

you're welcome! that Scriabin's 7th is particularly dear to me. It is really a "self-purification" for him after his harrowing 6th.

You're most welcome!

The point, particularly for non-professionals, is to enrich your own life and those of who you can share your interests with. Thus, there is no reason for anyone not making a living off of music to tackle repetoire which is not worth learning such as Liszt during his pyrotechnic years and other footnotes in the history of composition.

Stick with the less difficult, but no less great pieces by masters such as Chopin, Schumann, Bartk, et al. The pieces I recommended and the ones you performed are exquisite and within your technical and musical reach. I have played them all myself, as well as many like them, and still love to read through them when I get a chance.

Thanks so much for your comment! I'm actually working on the Chopin in C minor right now! I finished, well, if there is such a thing!, the Op 72 in E minor, and the C# minor posthumous.......
I have that one on You Tube as well...... I am not famliar off hand with the prelude you mentioned, but I will DEFINITELY check it out!
Thanks SO much!

I am SO passionate about music, but sometimes my impatience gets the best of me! I get frustrated and feel I am not accelerating fast enough!! So, the encouraging words truly help........Thanks......
Yes, I know, I'm not in a race to the finish! I'm in a life long journey of musical discovery! I just like to make all the discoveries yesterday!
LOL!

Thanks!

[Click for photos on the war against sexual abuse of boys and unlawful carnal knowledge against the order of nature...A paedophile priest betrayed the trust of boys. He used alcohol to lure teenage boys. This happens all around the world where sick deviants gratify their sexual lust against girls too!. This is an example of crimes against humanity.]

N.Y. bouncer indicted in student's slaying NEW YORK (AP) A bouncer from a New York City nightspot was indicted for murder in the brutal slaying last month of a graduate student after she left the bar where the suspect worked, authorities said Thursday.
A bar bouncer was indicted for murder in the death of a graduate student whose brutal slaying last month horrified New Yorkers and prompted a massive manhunt for her killer, authorities said Thursday. "Imette St. Guillen's horrific murder will not go unpunished," said Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes in announcing the three-count indictment against Darryl Littlejohn. Authorities said DNA and forensic evidence tied the bouncer at the SoHo bar where St. Guillen was last seen to her death. Police have said blood found on the plastic ties used to bind the 24-year-old's hands behind her back matched Littlejohn's. Littlejohn, 41, says he is innocent. His attorney, Kevin O'Donnell, said his client was being scapegoated because police couldn't find the real killer. In an interview Tuesday with WCBS-TV from jail, Littlejohn said he was asked to escort St. Guillen out of a bar where she was drinking just before closing. O'Donnell did not allow him to be questioned about what happened next. However, Littlejohn said that he provided a DNA sample when asked. "I cooperated fully, even before I was placed under arrest," he said. Asked whether he killed St. Guillen, he said, "No, I did not." Littlejohn is charged with first- and second-degree murder. If convicted, he could face life in prison without parole. O'Donnell told MSNBC on Wednesday that his client would plead not guilty at his arraignment Thursday afternoon. "All he's looking for is a fair trial," O'Donnell said. St. Guillen was from Boston and had been attending graduate school at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan. Her body was found Feb. 25 with a sock stuffed in her mouth and her head wrapped with packaging tape. She was last seen alive after a late night of drinking at The Falls bar, where Littlejohn worked as a bouncer. A manager at The Falls has told police that Littlejohn escorted St. Guillen out after she stayed sipping a drink past the 4 a.m. closing time and recalled hearing the pair arguing before they disappeared through a side door. Sometime during the next 17 hours, St. Guillen was killed. Investigators set their sights on Littlejohn, whose criminal record includes robbery, drug and gun convictions, and locked him up on a parole violation as they slowly built their case. In addition to the DNA evidence, authorities said they collected evidence showing that Littlejohn's cellphone was used in the area where the body was discovered. St. Guillen's mother, Maureen St. Guillen, spoke briefly Wednesday with reporters outside her home in Boston. She said she wished "my baby was home," then began to cry.

Health is Wealth: A Personalized Homepage of Jessie Moses and John. Woman Missing Since She Was 14 Is Found By DANIEL LOVERING, Associated Press Writer 2 hours, 1 minute ago MCKEESPORT, Pa. - For 10 years, Tanya Nicole Kach says she was told that her parents didn't want her, that she was stupid and no one cared about her but the middle school security guard who was keeping her in his home. ADVERTISEMENT It took her a decade to build the confidence to come forward, but on Wednesday she finally learned the truth as she hugged her father, Jerry Kach, in a tearful reunion. "He's crying, I'm crying. All he kept saying was, 'I got my baby,'" said Kach, now 24, clutching her father's hand. "I'm touching blood, and I get to say, 'I love you, Dad.'" Kach said she was looking forward to seeing her mother on Thursday for the first time since February 1996, when her parents reported her missing. For a decade, Kach had been living at the home of Thomas Hose, 48, in the same town where her father lived in a home about two miles away. She had met Hose at her middle school, where he worked as a security guard. Allegheny County Police Superintendent Charles Moffatt said Kach wasn't allowed out of the house for the first four years she lived with Hose in a home he shared with his parents since 1996. She was made to stay in the bedroom when visitors were over. "She had no contact with people, other than the people that were in the home," Moffatt said. Kach wasn't being held against her will, Moffat said, but Hose used "mind games" to control what she wore and where she went and to convince her that her parents, who are now divorced, didn't care about her. He said the girl had help changing her appearance shortly after she disappeared but wouldn't elaborate. Kach described to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review how she was manipulated as a teenager. "You're stupid. You're immature," she said Hose told her. "Nobody cares about you but me." Hose was jailed Thursday on charges of statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. His attorney, James Ecker, said Hose didn't force Kach to live with him. "I don't think you'll find anybody in these United States who says she was held against her will," Ecker said. For the last six months Kach would visit J.J.'s Deli Mart two blocks from where she lived in a Pittsburgh suburb, police said. Kach, always neatly dressed, befriended the convenience store owner Joseph Sparico and his family. Then, earlier this week, she told Sparico something extraordinary. "'My name is not Nikki Allen, it's Tanya Nicole Kach,"' he recalled her saying in a frightened voice. "'If you go to a Web site for missing children, you will see me there.'" Sparico said Kach told him she wasn't allowed out after dark, and that she thought nobody wanted her other than her boyfriend, who threatened her. He called his son a retired police officer who recognized Kach's name and a missing children hot line, helping to reunite the woman with her family. "She wanted to be wanted, that's all," Sparico said. "She'd come up to get a pop, a tea, a paper ... she'd confide in me." A woman who answered the phone at Hose's house Thursday morning said, "They're not talking," and hung up. Kach plans to meet with her mother, Sherri Koehnke, who remarried while her daughter was missing. "It's the best ending I could have thought about when I thought about what could have happened to her," Koehnke told WTAE-TV. Kach's father, Jerry, said, "I just say thank you, there is a God and he brought my little girl back home."

Bush Promises Help for
Katrina Victims

By JENNIFER LOVEN, Associated Press Writer.

BATON ROUGE, La. ,U.S.A

President Bush traveled South on Monday to promise "a huge effort" for Hurricane Katrina victims in a visit somewhat sullied by thinly-disguised friction with Louisiana's governor over the pace of relief.

Bush first stopped at the Bethany World Prayer Center, a huge hall half covered with pallets and half filled with dining tables. Gov. Kathleen Blanco visited at the same time, but like estranged in-laws at a holiday gathering, the Republican president and Democratic governor kept their distance as they walked around talking to people.

At the second stop a visit to an emergency operations center Bush kissed Blanco on the cheek, but it wasn't clear whether they had made up. The two said little publicly.

ADVERTISEMENT Some 57 percent of those surveyed said the U.S. military should stay until Iraq is stabilized, while 36 percent favor an immediate troop withdrawal. A year ago, 71 percent of respondents favored keeping troops in Iraq until it was stabilized. In an effort to build public support for his Iraq policy, President Bush planned an Oval Office address for Sunday night to discuss the U.S. mission and what lies ahead in 2006. The speech will be his first from the Oval Office since March 2003 when he announced the invasion of Iraq. In the past two weeks, the president has given four speeches on Iraq. In the poll, when people were asked in an open-ended question the main reason the U.S. should keep troops in Iraq, 32 percent said to stabilize the country and 26 percent said to finish the rebuilding job under way. Only one in 10 said they wanted to stay in Iraq to fight terrorism; just 3 percent said to protect U.S. national security. "You've got to finish the job," said Terry Waterman, a store manager from Superior, Wis. "The whole world is looking to us for leadership. We can't have another Vietnam." Other recent polling has found that when given additional options, many people favor a step somewhere in between having troops leave immediately and staying until the country is stabilized.

After months of unrelenting violence, millions of Iraqis turned out this past week to choose a parliament. Early estimates placed the voter turnout close to 70 percent of 15 million Iraqis voting. Some 49 percent of Americans now say the war with Iraq was a mistake, according to the poll of 1,006 adults conducted Tuesday through Thursday. That compares with 53 percent in August. Two years ago, only 34 percent of those surveyed said the war was a mistake. Two years ago, after ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was captured, 64 percent of respondents said the war was the right thing to do. Now, 42 percent say it was the right decision. Over the past two years, some of the biggest shifts on whether the war was a good decision or a mistake have come among married people with children, those with low incomes and those with a high school education or less. "Whether the war is a mistake is less relevant than what we should do now," said John McAdams, a political scientist at Marquette University in Milwaukee. "A fair number of people may think it's a mistake, but still don't want to lose." ___ Associated Press Manager of News Surveys Trevor Tompson contributed to this story. Sharon to Transfer Power During Procedure By LAURIE COPANS, Associated Press Writer

JERUSALEM - Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will turn over his duties to his deputy while the Israeli leader undergoes a heart procedure later this week, his office said Tuesday.

Deputy Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will assume the duties for about three hours Thursday while Sharon is given a general anesthetic and doctors seal a small hole in his heart. The hole was discovered after Sharon's mild stroke Dec. 18. Sharon, 77, suffered no permanent damage, and the procedure, known as cardiac catheterization, will virtually eliminate the risk of a similar stroke, doctors said. He is expected to be hospitalized for 24 hours.

Located in the partition between the upper chambers of his heart, the hole is less than a tenth of an inch wide and is a common birth defect found in 15 percent to 20 percent of the population, doctors said. Using a catheter inserted through a blood vessel, doctors will put an "umbrella-like" device over the hole to seal it. A tiny camera inserted through the esophagus will guide them. The procedure will take place at Hadassah Hospital Ein Karem in Jerusalem, where he was treated for his stroke, officials said.

The stroke has focused attention on Sharon's health as he seeks a third term in March 28 national elections. Doctors have ordered the overweight prime minister to go on a diet. Despite concerns about his health, opinion polls forecast a strong victory for Sharon, the country's most popular politician. Doctors said Sharon briefly lost the ability to speak during the stroke. He resumed his full work schedule Dec. 25.
