Narrator: Well, it looks like Ash, Misty, Brock and Josh are still looking for the Pokemon Gym in Ekruteak City. Little do they know but they are about to come across someone from Joshua�s past that will change their lives forever!
Misty: How far is it to the next Pokemon Center Brock?
Brock: It�s right over this hill.
Misty: Good.
We made it to the Pokemon Center with no problem. Ash and I gave Nurse Joy our Pokemon. We sat down for a bit. We saw a mailman run up to me.
Mailman: Are you Joshua Ketchum?
Me: Yes I am. Why?
Mailman: Because this letter is for you.
The mailman gave me the letter and left. Ash, Misty, Brock and I looked at the letter blankly.
Me: I wonder what this is about.
Ash: Why don�t you open it and see Josh?
I opened the envelope with no problem and as I read the letter to myself, I was shocked! I knew the handwriting, but it had been so long ago!
Misty: What�s wrong Josh?
I gave the letter to Ash who read it.
Dear Josh,
Hi! How�re you doing? I�m fine, thanks for asking! I know it has been a very long time since we last talked to each other. I have something to tell you! Something very important! I�ll meet you at the Pokemon Center you are at. And, don�t worry! I know where you are! I�ll meet you there at three a clock in the afternoon of today! Take care and see you at three!
From, Jen!
I was shocked!
Me: Brock, what time is it?
Brock: It�s three a clock right now!
Me: (Gasp) What?!
I looked around and saw Jen. Jen looked older than the last time I had saw her! She walked over to me, Ash, Misty and Brock.
Jen: Hi, Josh! It�s been a long time. Hasn�t it?
Me: It sure has been Jen! Oh by the way, here�s my brother, Ash and here�s Misty and here�s Brock! I got your letter!
I saw Brock was head over heels for Jen!
Brock: Why, hello there Jen! What a lovely name! What do you say we get to know each other a little bit better?
Misty dragged Brock away by the ear!
Misty: Forget it Brock! We all know you too much already!
Jen: Josh, I have something to tell you.
Me: What is it, Jen?
Jen: I have deep feelings for you, Josh.
Me: And, I have deep feelings for you too Jen!
Jen: Josh, I love you!
Ash, Misty, Brock and I were taken off guard!
Me: You love me, Jen?
Jen: Yes I do, Josh! I love you with all my heart!
Me: Well, I love you too, Jen With all of my heart too!
Jen: I have a question to ask you Josh.
Me: Oh? And, what is that, Jen?
Jen: Josh, will you marry me?
Me: What did you say, Jen?
Jen: I asked if you would marry me.
Me: Uh. Yes, I would marry you Jen!

A week past when Jen asked me to marry her. We had everything planned out. The day of the wedding had finally come! Jen and I were very excited!
Jen: It looks like we had better be on our way, Josh.
Me: You are right Jen. Let�s go!
Me, Jen, Ash, Misty and Brock were on our way to where Jen and I would get married. We had gotten there with no problem. Jen and I went to get ready for the wedding. Ash, Misty and Brock had to wait to go and get seats for the wedding. While they were waiting, two people came up to them. One of them was a man and the other was a woman.
Man: Are you by any chance friends of Jen and Joshua?
Ash: Yes, we are. I am Joshua�s brother, Ash. In addition, these are my friends, Misty and Brock.
Woman: You have to come with us. Because we have to ask you three a couple of questions.
Ash, Misty and Brock agreed and went with the two people. Little did Ash, Misty and Brock know that the two people were in fact Jessie and James of Team Rocket! They got Ash, Misty and Brock in a room and knocked them out!
Meanwhile, Jen and I went into the room where we were going to get married. I did not see Ash, Misty and Brock with the other people. I felt like something was wrong. I turned to Jen with a worried look on my face.
Jen: Josh, I am sure they are fine. After we are married, we will go looking for them.
Me: But, it is not like them to be late for this.
The minister came in and everyone sat down.
Minister: Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to witness these two in the bonds of holy matrimony. Jen, do you take Josh to be your loftily wedded husband?
Jen: I do.
Minister: Josh, do you take Jen to be your loftily wedded wife?
Me: I do
Minister: The ring.
I put the ring on Jen�s finger.
Minister: If there is a person her who has a reason why these two should not be wed, let them speck now or forever hold their piece,
Just then, the room burst into smoke! I heard two familiar voices.
Me: No! Not this! Not now!
Jessie: Prepare for trouble!
James: And, make it double!
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!
James: To protect all peoples within our nation!
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James: To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie: Jessie!
James: James!
Jessie: Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth: Mewoth! That�s right!
I frowned at Team Rocket.
Me: Team Rocket! What are you doing here?
James: What we always want from you!
Jessie: We want you to join Team Rocket! We could really use you!
Me: Well, as always, you can forget it!
Meowth: This time, we came prepared!
Meowth pushed a button on a remote control. Then, Jen and I saw Ash, Misty and Brock tied up and gagged!
Me: Let them go right now or you will be sorry!
Jessie: The only way we will do that is if you join us! Then we will let you friends and your brother go!
Me: Tell me! How did you know I was here?
James: We have friends in high places!
Me: Anyone I might know?
Jessie: Yes! In addition, you will be devastated! It is your soon to be wife
Me: What? Jen, please tell me it is not true!
Jen just gave me an evil look and revealed a Team Rocket uniform!
Me: It can�t be! I thought you loved me Jen! Why would you betray me?
Jen: I joined Team Rocket a long time ago Josh! That is why they have been after you all this time!
James: Now, it is decision time!
Jessie: Join us and you will see your friend Jen more often! In addition, we will let your friends and your brother go! If you do not join, say goodbye to your brother as well as your friends!
This was tearing me up inside! All of this was an act on Jen�s part! They planned this ever since the beginning! It looked like this was it! I turned to Jen.
Me: Before I join, I just want to tell you something Jen. No matter what you do, I will always love you no matter what!
Ash, Misty and Brock kept shaking their heads. I could not do anything except join Team Rocket! Just then, I heard a voice!
Voice: That is not the Joshua I know!
It was Gary!
Me: Gary! What are you doing here?
Gary: Explanations later Josh! Now Go Nidoqueen! Use tackle attack!
Nidoqueen used tackle on Team Rocket! Sending Team Rocket flying as well as making them lose their hold on Ash, Misty and Brock. I walked over to Ash, Misty and Brock. I untied them and took off their gags.
Me: Are you three all right?
Ash: We are now. Thanks to you and Gary,
Me: Thanks, Gary! I could not have saved Ash, Misty and Brock without you.
Gary: I did what I had to do, Josh. See you later!
Gary left us. I was speechless.
Misty: Josh, Jen is still here.
Me: I know Misty. It is just that now when I look at Jen, I will not see the same Jen I knew all of these years.
I still turned around to face Jen. However to everyone�s surprise, Jen was gone!
Ash: Jen must have left when Gary got rid of Team Rocket.
Brock: Look there! On the floor, Josh.
I looked where Brock was pointing. We saw Jen�s clothes! She must still be wearing her Team Rocket uniform. I was completely heartbroken! I turned to everyone who showed up for the wedding.
Me: You all can go home. There is no wedding here. I am sorry to bring you out here for this.
Everyone left except for the minister. He came over to me.
Minister: I am so sorry. She must have been special to you, Josh. I understand how you feel.
Me: It is okay. I guess it was never meant to be. However, now matter what, I will always love her. Maybe with luck, she will love me back in return.
I turned to Ash, Misty and Brock.
Me: Well, let�s get going to the next city!
With that said, we left for the next city where Ash and I could get our next badges to compete side by side in the Johto League.
