Jessie and James were about to try another one of their schemes to steal pikachu when they got a very unsuspected surprise. Ash ran up to them and started hugging Jessie, who was overthrown by this. �Get off me!� He didn�t move but instead he gripped tighter, while saying something even more shocking. �Jessie, will you adopt me?� She almost fell over in laughter. �Ok, let me get this straight. You want me to adopt you? In other words, be a mother to you?� She didn�t stop laughing until she saw the twerp�s eyes and noticed he was serious. �What makes you want such a thing? You know how cruel I am to you.� Ash looked at her in the eyes when she said that. �I like it when you�re cruel to me. You can do whatever you want to me, I don�t care.� Jessie slapped him and knocked him over onto the ground. �So I can do that and you don�t care?� She wanted to get him away from her but he refused. �Hit me again, Jessie!� Ash was looking at her with this evil look in his eyes and then he crawled to her feet and kneeled down in front of her. �Why are you acting so submissive all of a sudden?� Jessie wasn�t used to the twerp behaving like this with her. She tried to talk to him but all he did was beg her to abuse him. �Why do you want me to hurt you? I thought you hated it?� Ash wouldn�t answer no matter what she said. �Tie me up, Jessie!� She started to laugh again but stopped shortly after. �Would you give me pikachu if I asked you to?� He nodded silently while she tied him up. The ropes were so tight that they made it hard for him to breath. �You want abuse, then you�re going to get abuse!� Jessie started beating Ash like crazy and he was laughing every time she hit him. �Do you like being abused or something?� He just nodded again while she touched him. �I really never thought you could be like this, twerp! I like it.� Jessie took him back to their camp spot and tied him to a tree. She started using him for her own demented pleasure. �Aren�t you going to say anything?� Ash was so quiet. He just sat there not even trying to escape. Jessie had her hands all over him now and he still sat there, letting her do anything she pleased. �You look so evil right now! I like it!� Ash looked at her with his eyes down and this submissive, yet mischievous look that never left his face. Jessie knelt down in front of him. �Do you want to know who your dad is?� He looked up at her. �He�s the leader of Team Rocket!� She handed him a locket with a picture of his mom and her boss in it. They were holding his hand when he was about three years old. �So. I want to be with you, Jessie! Big deal if he�s your boss. That�s his business!� She noticed nothing would faze him so she decided to call it a night.
In the middle of the night, Jessie woke up noticed the twerp lying down next to her, with his head on her chest. She gently petted his head and he woke up. �I like that.� He stayed so calm as she gently petted him. Jessie started feeling sorry for the boy at this point. He looked like he had been crying half the night. �What�s wrong? You can tell me anything and I�ll understand.� Ash looked up at her with tears in his eyes. �My friends think I�m stupid and they hate me! Even my mom hates me!� She took him into her arms and tried to calm him. �What did you do? I�ve never known you to do anything wrong.� He had his head buried in her chest and he was crying his eyes out. �They just keep telling me how stupid I am. My mom called me an idiot and threw me out! I don�t understand what�s happening.� Jessie lifted his chin up with her hand. �Well you sure aren�t the smartest person in the world!� Ash was about to get up and take off but she held him back. �It�s ok. Calm down! I don�t mean it the way you think I do. You have a tendency to be very clueless at times and get your friends lost. I actually noticed myself that they were being hard on you. They can�t expect more from you than you can give. I think you have potential to learn when you want to.� He felt a bit better once she said this. �You really think so?� Jessie nodded. �Why don�t you stay with me like you wanted and let me help you out? I could teach you a lot of things if you�re willing to let me.� She paused and saw that he was listening, something he usually never did. �There is one main thing. You still see the world as good and evil. It�s not like that at all!� Ash was falling asleep in her arms as she petted him. �You really have a gentle touch and your voice is so calming.� Jessie had never thought she could be that nice. �Well I�m glad you think so. So will you let me help you out?� His eyes were getting heavy, as he was so tired. �Yeah. I�d like that. But do you really think you can have enough patience to handle me?� Jessie made him look at her. �I can have plenty of patience as long as you�re not so stubborn with me. The one thing you like the most is being stubborn.� Ash reluctantly agreed and then fell asleep in Jessie�s arms.
When he woke up the next morning, Ash found himself tied up so tight that he couldn�t move a muscle. �Jessie! Where are you?� She came out from the woods with some firewood in her arms. �You want to learn, don�t you?� She went up to him and stood over him. �Get out!� Ash stared at her in disbelief. �How am I supposed to do that?� Jessie bent down to his level and started to show him some techniques for getting out of a situation like that. �Think you can manage?� He tried everything exactly as she said and sure enough he was free. �Where�d you learn that?� She looked at him in the face and raised an eyebrow. �We go through more training that you could ever imagine. Most of the new recruits die within the first few hours. I on the other hand have been the only one who could get through to the end in all the training sessions. The sessions are split up for males and females. The training for females was too easy so they put me into the training for males.� Ash found it so hard to believe. �What else do you know?� Jessie showed him an I.D card. �See this? It�s my identification that states I�m a qualified surgeon and I can work in any medical field no problem.� While looking at the card, he noticed something else. �It says you�re a psychiatrist too! How is that possible for one person to learn so much?� Jessie decided to sit down while she talked. �I guess I have the talent, that�s all.� Ash went over closer to her. �You mean you could do any operation possible, work as a psychiatrist, and beat some of the strongest men with no problem?� She looked back at him. �That and much more! I know it sounds impossible but it�s true.� He looked at her and before he could say anything, she put a finger on his lips. �You want me to teach you, don�t you?� It was like she could read his mind. Ash didn�t have to say a word and she knew what he was thinking. �It is possible for you to learn. Not very many people could learn so much but I really think you have potential. It�s going to take ten years, if not more. Are you sure you�re up to it?� He saw the look in her eyes. It felt like he was being pulled towards her while she spoke. �I�m actually understanding when you explain things. I�ve never been able to understand so well before.� Jessie was still waiting for an answer. �I�ll do it!� Ash felt like he was understood for the first time in his life. Jessie had gotten through to him.
�No resting now. Get up!� Jessie made him go through vigorous training everyday for hours. She made him get up even when he couldn�t. But one particular day, she took him somewhere different. �Now it�s time to start the hard stuff!� It seemed like forever but Ash was coming along very quick. By the end of the year, he was in extreme physical shape. Jessie was teaching him all about psychology, which he seemed to pick up right away. Soon enough she started with the other medical knowledge. Ash felt like he learned more with her that he could have learned in a lifetime.
Twelve Years Later
Ash woke up one morning to find Jessie sitting on his bed. �What is it, Jess?� She looked at him with a smile on her face. �I have good news for you.� She handed him an I.D card the same as hers but with his picture on it. �Thank you, Jessie! You�re the best!� He jumped up and hugged her. �By the way, it�s you�re twenty-fifth birthday today.� Ash didn�t realize how fast time went by. �Wouldn�t that make you thirty-two?� She nodded. �You haven�t aged one bit!� Jessie handed him a mirror. �Nor have you. You know those injections I�ve been using? Well that�s why. It makes you live forever!� Ash couldn�t believe it. �You�ve been using them on me?� She saw the smile on his face. �The best part is, you never have to use them again after this one. When you turn twenty-five, you just need one more dose and it�s permanent. It�s a fairly large dose but it works. I discovered it while working with genetics.� She gave him the last injection and winked at him. �I had a feeling you�d like it. You may not realize it but our personalities are very similar. The only thing that�s different with you is you�re more submissive than anything else.� Ash didn�t like to hear that but he knew it was true. �That�s the reason we get along so well, isn�t it? You want to control me and I submit to you. �Ash, you�ve really come a long way. I�m very impressed. I want to thank you for listening. I really don�t understand why you never listen to anyone else but me like this. Think you could explain to me?� He lied back down in bed. �I just feel so comforted when I�m with you. You understand me so well.� Just then, he remembered about his friends and his mom. �I wonder what happened to them all?� Jessie handed him a piece of paper with a phone number on it. �I�ve been keeping contact with Misty and Brock. Don�t worry they know you�ve been with me. I haven�t told them why since I wasn�t sure you wanted to.� Ash nodded and went to use the phone. �There is one thing though.� He turned around when she said that. �They�re married now.� He nodded and dialed the number. �Oh my god! Ash, I�ve been so worried.� Misty had tears in her eyes. �I thought you hated me? You did tell me I was stupid, didn�t you?� She shook her head. �I was young and stupid back then myself.� She noticed that he still looked young. �How come you haven�t aged?� Ash asked her to meet him so they could talk in person.
�What have you been doing all this time?� Misty was very curious. �Jessie�s been helping me out. She taught me a lot of things.� Ash showed her the I.D card and explained the rest. He also explained to her why he hadn�t aged. �I see you two are getting along again.� Jessie walked up to a bench they were sitting on and sat down with them. �Are you still with Team Rocket?� Misty was concerned now. �Where do you think I learned all this?� She started to yell back at Jessie, who gave her a dirty look. �Being in Team Rocket gives me a place to vent! I have these evil tendencies so it helps! Do you have a problem with that?� Misty looked back at her and shook her head. �How come Ash doesn�t care about all the bad things you do?� Ash butted in to stop the fighting. �Misty, Jessie understands me so I don�t care what she does. I feel like I belong. I can understand if you want to ditch me right here and right now but nothing will change how I feel about Jessie.� Misty surprisingly understood. �Could you give me you�re phone number and address so we could see each other more often?� Ash wrote it down for her and left with Jessie. �What about my mother?� She shrugged. �I never kept contact with her. Do you want me to drive you to her place?� Ash followed her to the car. �Yeah, sure.� Jessie teased and taunted him all the way there. It was a four-hour drive but he didn�t complain. �You like it don�t you?� Ash laughed as she nudged him.
When they got there, Ash was a bit nervous to go inside. �Want me to come with you?� She grabbed his arm and pulled him out. When they got to the door, Jessie was the one who knocked. �Who is it?� When the door was opened, it was a man that stood before them. �We�re looking for Delia Ketchum.� Jessie was a bit confused at this. �She moved out about three years ago and I have no idea where.� She could tell when someone was lying and this man was telling the truth. �Sorry to bother you sir.� With that, they left. �How will I find her?� Ash was starting to cry but Jessie took him into her arms. �Calm down.� When they got home she turned on a high tech computer. �You�re not going to hack the FBI�s computer system, are you?� Jessie turned to face him. �You read my mind!� With a few steps, she was into the database. �Ah, here we go! She lives in some old cabin in the woods. Let�s go!� Ash followed her out the door and it was only an hour�s drive.
This time Jessie was the first one to get out of the car and she grabbed Ash by the hand. �Come on!� She knocked and a lady with hair that was starting to turn gray answered the door. �Ash, why did you run away? Didn�t you realize that I was upset with you? I never thought you�d do something like that!� His mom looked at him and saw his appearance. �You let them experiment on you, didn�t you?� Ash looked back at Jessie. �I thought you said you were using it?� She answered him in a lazy tone of voice. �I never said it was confirmed by the government. I used it and I took the risk. Obviously it worked.� He laughed a bit. �You�re bad!� Ash playfully shoved her but then noticed his mom still standing there. �Did you come back to cause trouble because I don�t need it!� He went up to her. �Mom, I�m not with Team Rocket. I never have been. Jessie�s been nice to me. She really did help me out a lot.� Ash�s mom looked at him worriedly. �You know who your father is, don�t you?� He saw the look in her eyes. �I�m fine with it, really. Although I�d like to bring him down, I�m not that strong.� Mrs. Ketchum invited them both in. �What have you been up to? I haven�t heard from you in so long!� Ash showed his mom the I.D card and she knew right away. �Jessie may have taught you a lot but I wouldn�t trust her if I were you.� As soon as she heard this, Jessie came barging in. �Excuse me? I took him in out of kindness! I didn�t have to let him stay with me and I didn�t have to teach him what I did! I know I�m the type to do something and expect something in return but I have to admit that I have feelings for your son! I really care about him even if you never saw it!� Mrs. Ketchum could see a fire in Jessie�s eyes as she spoke. It showed that she was telling the truth but at the same time she was thinking of something else. �What are you hiding?� Ash looked at his mom. �She�s not hiding anything! This is nothing compared to what she usually does! Jessie will talk about a lot of demented things she wants to do to me but she�d never do them. She doesn�t hurt me at all!� Jessie started to laugh and it was quite disturbing at a time like this. �So you�re saying I don�t hurt you when I tie you up?� Ash walked up to her and faced her. �You know you don�t hurt me! I have absolutely no problem with you tying me up!� He walked away quite angrily while Jessie smirked. �Ash, where are you going?� His mom was following him. �She just loves to get on my nerves!� Mrs. Ketchum sat down with her son. �Were you serious when you said you like it when she ties you up?� Ash nodded. �Jessie�s is just playing around. You wouldn�t believe how nice she�s been to me!� His mom started to understand. �Please keep in contact with me.� As he was walking out the door with Jessie, he turned around. �I will.�
Ash stayed with Jessie for years and he never got tired of her sense of humor. Over a thousand years later, they were still playing around as kids. James ended up using the injections too so he was happily married to Jessie ever since Ash�s mom died. Jessie looked at Ash, who was staring outside the window. She went up to him with James by her side. Jessie put her arms around both James and Ash while she spoke softly. �We�ll stay forever this way. Nothing can ever separate us.�
