Christian::-

Why does the Bible say that Jesus wanted to die on the cross, when the one on the cross was shouting "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" according to Matthew 27:45 and Mark 15:33?

Answer::-

Jesus was willing to die on the cross to save us all. If you read the passage of the Garden of Gethsemane or go see the Passion, you would very well see that Jesus wasn't looking forward to it. And also, as Ravi Zacharias puts it, Jesus saying, "My God, why have you forsaken me?" was because God took His hand off of the situation, or took away His support. He didn't break away from Jesus in a sense of defragmentation of the essence of the Trinity. God stepped back and said, "You're all alone in this one." God couldn't help or the gospel would of not been fulfilled.
