Do you know who Michelle Trachtenberg is? Dawn? Harriette the Spy? Yes? Well then you know she is 19 and a big girl. That's right, she is a mature young adult who is completely capable of making well informed decisions for her career. She is not Season Five Dawn anymore, get over it.

Even in the case of Dawn, she has obviously matured as a character. She started out as a teenager with that new car smell. 13, I think, and she was just the annoying little sister you never wish you had. "Whaaa! I'm not human! Whaa. They're gonna kill me! Whaaa! Buffy won't let be borrow her shirt!" That got as about annoying as it is when you're own sister whines. But, alas, not for long.

By the time season seven rolled around Dawn is such a cool character. She inherits the Scooby wit and is all together more mature. She still seems a smidge young, but thats because she is next to a bunch of 22 year olds. Keep in mind Dawn is about 16 by the end of the season, the same age Buffy was in season one.

Dawn whined less and fought more, thats how we like our Scoobies. In Potential we finally see how Dawn has grown up. She held her own as "the Slayer," but she was mature enough to hand that power to Amanda. In Chosen she fights right along with Xander and dresses in clothes to rival Buffy's style.

So too has Michelle grown. Her cute dresses from a few years back have been replaced by stylish, classy, and not to mention gorgeous dresses. Her roles on Nickelodeon have been replaces with sexy roles on Six Feet Under and Eurotrip. These roles are totally normal for someone her age. Anyone disagree? How would you like to be 19 and only star in children's shows because your fans think you are still a little girl?

On the Buffy.nu website there was a heated debate between posters over the bikini shots from Eurotrip. Oh she's too skinny! Oh she practically naked! Oh, oh, oh! Yes, when you wear a bikini, skin tends to show alittle. It is not like she is prancing around naked. She is 19. Nineteen year olds have a tendency to be skinny and wear binkinis.

In conlu. Michelle Trachenburg has my complete support and the support of her more grounded fans. She is a wonderful adult actress and she deserves any role that suits her.
