When we try to look under the water our view gets distorted and blured. To avoide this we use goggles. Dolphins can focus in both air and water because they have powerful muscles in there eyes which they can change there lenses to see depending on the enviromant there in.

There eyes are on the sides of there head. So they cant see things straight infront of them. Thats why they turn there head when they look at something in front of them. Dolphins cant see colours to well either.

Dolphins have very sensitive skin. There skin can easy be damaged but ther wounds heal quickly. Some parts are more sensitive then others and the area around there mouth is very sensitive.
Dolphins use there jaw, the same way we use our hands to examine things in the area. Because there skin is soft and very sensitive they can use the skin to detect things like pressure, temperature, etc. So for example they can easily know how fast there going because they feel it on there skin.
