Appearance:

What does a dolphin look like?

Animals which live in the ocean are streamlined so they can swim gracefully through the water. The body looks like a torpedo with a rounded head and slender body. They don't have anything sticking out on there body exept there breast fins they help them to move the dolphin in the correct direction.  The big
"backfin" make the dolphin go forward.  There skin is often moist of slime which makes the body smooth.

Backfin:

Dolphins have backfins, they can be bent, three angular or rounded.
And some don't have any at all.
