Instructions
| Bold | Hold the
Control key and press B Click the picture of a bold B Click Format then click Font, then click the Font tab then click the word that says Bold |
| Center | Click on the picture with the lines centered |
| Copy | Highlight
the word you want to copy Hold the Control key and press C Click the picture of the overlapping pieces of paper Click Edit then Copy |
| Cut | Highlight
the word you want to cut Hold the Control key and press X Click on the picture of the scissors Click on Edit and then Cut |
| Font | Click on
Format then on Font then click the Font tab then click the arrow on the
right hand side of Font Click on the down arrow on the Font box |
| Font Size | Click on
Format then on Font then click the Font tab then click the arrow on the
right hand side of Size Click on the down arrow on the Font Size box |
| Italics | Hold the
Control key and press I Click Format then click Font, then click the Font tab then click the word Italic Click the picture of the italic I |
| Left | Click on the picture with the lines on the left |
| New | To make
a new document Hold the Control key and press N Click the blank piece of paper Click File and then click New |
| Open | Hold the
Control key and press O Click the opened folder picture Click File and then click Open |
| Paste | Click
where you want to paste the word Hold the Control key and press V Click on the picture of the clipboard Click on Edit and then Paste |
| Preview | To
preview what you are going to print before you print it Click the picture of the magnifying glass Click File then click Print Preview |
| Hold the
Control key and press P Click the printer Click File then Print |

| Redo | Hold the
Control key and press Y Click the arrow that is pointing forwards Click on Edit and then Redo |
| Right | Click on the picture with the lines on the right |
| Save | Hold the
Control key and press S Click on the picture of the disk Click on File and then Save |
| Start | To start up Microsoft Word, go to Start at the bottom of the screen and click it. Then go to Programs, then Microsoft Office and then click on Microsoft Word. |
| Underline | Hold the
Control key and press U Click Format then click Font, then click the Font tab then click the box under the word underline Click the picture of the underlined U |
| Undo | Hold the
Control key and press Z Click on the picture of the arrow that is pointing backwards Click on Edit and then Undo |
