Nangoo Gets Lost!

It is a very sunny March evening at 5:00 PM that the twins, Jessica and Ashleigh, take Nangoo (their pet dog) for a walk. Hayley (the girl that always gets into a mess and that lives next door to the twins) loves Nangoo. Nangoo and his owners always pass Hayley�s house on the way to the park and Nangoo always barks when they do.

When they got to the park Nangoo ran to the 1st tree and then the 2nd and the 3rd and the 4th and� well, I guess you get the idea. And the poor twins had to tire themselves out by running after him. They got very, very annoyed. Nangoo was the only one drooling and the only one having fun. But the twins were too tired to yell, so they just tried the best they could to keep up with Nangoo.

After the 50th tree, Nangoo slipped out of his leash and ran away. The dogcatcher was near, just talking to some pedestrians and he noticed Nangoo out of the corner of his eye. The dogcatcher said, 'Excuse me,' to the pedestrians and chased Nangoo around the block. After the 41st round, the dogcatcher caught Nangoo, put him in his truck and took him to the pound.

The next day Hayley sees the sad twins and asks what is wrong. They tell Hayley that Nangoo ran away. Hayley sees the dogcatcher and asks if he has seen a little brown dog with a black tail. The dogcatcher says that yes he has seen a little brown dog with a black tail. Hayley goes to the dog pound and gets Nangoo. Now everyone thinks she is not so silly after all.
