"Bricks" are used as disjointed units, displayed out of everyday context. There is an implication they connect to a larger structure, but some ambiguity to exactly how that connection works.
The type of brick I make reference to, "Special Specials" and "Standard Specials," are not conventional brick archetypes; instead, these bricks must be custom-designed to fit. Consequently, the scale used in these pieces is a plausible real dimension. At the same time, this "Brick" could be a model for a larger item.
