| Titania |
| Titania is the fourteenth of Uranus's known satellites, as well as being the largest. It was discovered in 1787 by Herschel. It is the Queen of the Faries, and wife of Oberon in A Midsummer-Night's Dream. Another moon, Ariel, and Titania apper to be most alike, but Ariel is about 25% smaller. The surface is a mixture of cratered terrain and systems of valleys. Some craters seem to be half-sumberged. The surface is rather young. A theory about Titania is that it was once hot enough to be liquid. The surface is said to have cooled first, then the interior froze, cracking the surface, and making the valleys we see today.
