| -Why, out of all the moons in the solar system, did our moon get the name 'moon?' Couldn't they have thought of something more interesting and origional? Actually, the moon was named the moon because when we first discovered it, we didn't know about other planets, much less their moons. For whatever reason, a moon is called a moon, and since it was the only one known about at the time, it was called a moon to avoid confusion. -What's all this stuff about Pluto and Neptune trading places? Aren't they set in specific orbits around the sun? Well, the two planets are set in their own orbits going around the sun. However, those orbits cross each other, and every once in a great while, the two planets actually trade places, making Neptune the ninth planet, and Pluto the eighth. -Is there intellegent life out there?
