(Small Crater)
Flowers and rocks of the same shade
Water still flows here in flood season...you can see here where it would be...by the purple
Yoni's great friend, Ami, went with us.
This is the smallest of three natural craters in Israel.   It was made from erosion.   A river ended here...with no where for the water to escape to it simply sat here and over millions of years eroded the mountains and made this crater.   A big empty hole with mountains all around  everywhere you look.
Me in the middle of the crater on a little hill
The craters are famous for their colored sand.  Due to certain natural minerals you can find rocks and sand of all different colors in the crater.

As we were hiking from one side to the other we passed  orange mountains, purple mountains, and then others with a rainbow of colors!!
