Engagement! Jessica
and Justin became engaged on June 22, 1999. They were at
Justin's mom's store when she asked them to run back to their
house to get something for her. When they arrived at
Justin's house, Jessica was going to sit in the car and wait on
Justin to get what his mom needed, but Justin insisted that she
come inside.
After they had gotten
what Justin's mom needed, Jessica noticed that Justin had his
back turned to her and he was patting his pockets. Jessica
asked Justin if he had lost the keys, and he turned around with
the engagement ring in his hand and said "No, I was
wondering if you would marry me."
The engagement ring
was Jessica's great aunts and it was passed down to
Jessica. It is flower shaped with pretty diamonds in
it. After Jessica and Justin were married they did buy a matching set
of wedding bands (and the set included a matching engagement ring). The set that they now have is regular gold and white
gold and is beautiful!
After Jessica and
Justin became engaged they had their engagement pics taken and
Jessica also had a merged engagement and birthday party all at
one time, presented to her by her mom. You can see some of
the wedding party in the bottom picture on the left.
