Since childhood, I've been lucky enough to travel to Mexico quite a few times. Usually I'd end up in Puerto Vallarta, however last year I broke tradition and went to Cancun (Club Med!). Club Med was fantastic, and exactly the kind of vacation I needed at the time. In 1999, I went to Cabo San Lucas with the Davids family. However, my general travel mode is to stay in smaller hotels, on the local's side of town, rather than in the touristy places. Below are photos from both kinds of trips with pictures of family and friends, old and new.
