Nokia 6100 series
Okay. When Nokia made these phones, I don't know what they were thinking. Don't get me wrong, these are an awesome series, but when they made them I don't know what they were thinking. These phones come with some cool faceplates, but not many people are even aware these faces are detachable. But, they certainly are! And, it's actually a simple process. 1. For starters, turn off your phone. 2. Then, take off your battery. 3. Under your battery, you will find four little screws...un-screw these screws, and place them somewhere you'll be able to find them. 4. Flip your phone over, and pull off your faceplate. 5. Replace your new faceplate on your phone. Be sure to include your buttons and your ear piece. When you are putting the faceplate back on, look at the ear piece and make sure it's in the right way. The two wire-looking things should be placed TOWARDS your phone. Otherwise, you will not be able to hear. 5. Place the faceplate back on the phone and flip the phone back over. 6. Re-screw the four screws back in where they belong. 7. Re-place your battery. 8. Turn your phone on.

Okay. Well, I really don't recommend doing it yourself because if it's done wrong, you can mess your phone up. And, if you don't have insurance or anything on your phone, that can cost ya a lot. So, for all you persons out there who want to try to do it yourself, I will help ya out. But, just for safety reasons, I need to tell you all that I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE! I am telling you how to do it, but when it comes to these things, it can be very crucial to kind of have a sense of these things. These directions can sometimes be hard to follow/understand. But, if you still interested...let's begin. 1. For starters, follow steps 1-4 of the "Faceplates" column. 2. Okay, before we go any farther, I'm going to recommend something. As you are taking all these parts off/out of your phone, you need to place them in a way that you'll be able to remember how they go back in. If you don't put the phone back together properly...IT WON'T WORK! 3. Okay, so now we're right in the middle of your phone. You will be at a board looking thing, that has all your phone's "brains" on it. There is a little tiny screw in the middle of this board. Un-screw it. Be careful with this though, don't use too much weight because this board is what makes your phone work. Applying too much weight could ruin it. 4. Okay, now your phone is apart. If you look up towards your antenna you will see a button on the side of your antenna base. Use a flat headed screw driver to press up and in on it. It should come right out. If it doesn't, just keep on trying. It may take a lot of trys. It'll come though, don't worry. **GOOD LUCK**
