Canadian Review Jessica Andrews Who I Am By Carmen Young Ever worry about buying a CD with only one good song on it? Well don't, not on this one. You're in for a treat. You get 12 for the price of one! "Who I Am" is the most requested song on CMT, but I'm sure the rest will gradually follow once people hear them. I read that Jessica was concerned about coming out the same time as LeAnn Rimes and Lila McCann. Well, fear not young lady, just remember your own song,"Who I Am". Jessica said that if her singing career doesn't blossom, she will continue with writing and/or producing and remain in the music industry. Good decision Jessica, I think you have a lot to contribute. The music, lyrics, and vocals on this CD are superb, but that is just my opinion. Get a copy for yourself and check it out. I'll bet you won't be disappointed. The CD starts out very upbeat with some excellent songs which include "Now I Know", "Every Time", the catchy "I Don't Like Anyone", "Karma" (not pop or country, but great all the same), "Never Had It So Good" (don't we all wish this was us), and "Make Me Love You" (yes folks, it happens, sneaks up on you when your not looking. It happened to ME too). "Good Friend To Me" (now everyone NEEDS this, but so few of us seldom get it. I am proud to say that I have it and it's a wonderful thing, it makes your relationship so much more solid) is an excellent song. Well that's it for me for this one. Get it and enjoy it. I certainly did. |
