Jessica Andrews
Now
By Jennifer Webb

Along with a new love (singer/songwriter Marcel Chagnon) Jessica Andrews continues to sparkle and shine her way into a blossoming musical career. With every release she manages to grow even more than before and show another facet of her wonderful personality and "Now" is just a pure pleasure to listen to.

If you are either looking for an energetic and up-tempo song of empowerment, or a sappy song about looking back on an unfortunate breakup, you will find solace in hearing the same song, "There's More To Me Than You," which is found both at the beginning and end of the album. The single version is the first song and the ballad version is a hidden track at the end of the album.

Songs like "Sunshine & Love," and "Second Sunday" are very radio friendly and easy to sing along to, while on an inspirational side of things "I Wish For You" gives hope to those that feel alone in life and tells them to remain brave and they can make it through anything that life throws at them. "God Don't Give Up On Us" is performed with so much emotion that I don't think even Faith Hill could have recorded this as well as Jessica did.

One of the best songs on Now happens to be co-written by Rebecca Lynn Howard, and it is called "Cowboy Guarantee." Falling in love at a rodeo is something every girl should know not to do, yet sometimes you just can't help it, as illustrated in the tune about a "wonderful" relationship that lasted only a single night. Another song about falling in love is "When Gentry Plays Guitar," only it is a one-sided love - the subject fell in love with a great looking guitar player on stage and can only wish that he would ever feel the same about her.
