Kristofer Fermil [Pontiac, Michigan at the Arts, Beats ,and Eats] [September 1, 2003] Jessica perform in Pontiac, Michigan at the Arts, Beats ,and Eats. I was able to meet two people from her fan club. Sweetness. Josh and a lady. I made a sign for her that said "Now I am having a "Good Time". She liked it. When Jessica performed "Good Time", she waved to me up in the stands. Then, the next thing I know, the crowd started to look up where I was at. She also pointed to me when she performed "Helplessly Hopelessly". That's when I moved up to the parking lot to put my sign up. I was standing in the front row then I was like I don't wanna be rude by putting my sign in front of people's faces. I paid $8.00 to park but it was so worth it because where I was standing was where I parked my car. I got a very lucky parking spot. It rained a little. I also made a sign for Marcel, but he was not there. The sign was "Marcel I wanna Be a country Rock Star". When I met Jessica, I asked her if she wanted to touch my hair and she did. I had my hair into a mohawk. She also remembered me from the Detroit Hoedown. I got her to sign my Tennessee football Jersey. Also during the band's warmup, I think her drummer kept waving to me. Maybe he loved my hair or shirt. I hope my pictures turn out good so I can show you all, but the camera I used was from last year and may produce very bad pictures because it's a one time use only, and I took it out for 10 days in the hot sun. During the concert I saw some dude taking pictures of me with my sign. Then another person took a picture of me. Wow I feel famous now. I had fun even though it rained. Kristofer Fermil [Detroit Hoedown] [May 18, 2003] I was in line for the public and was told I may not meet her. The line was packed too. I was holding my sign up to let the other people see what it says. Then some guy came up to me and asked me if I was a big fan. Then I said yes, I am in her fan club. Then the guy said wait a minute they just took the fan club members some where else. The guy told me to stay here I am going to tell somone. Then a lady came up and said are you in the fan club. I showed her my card and she told me to come with her. And she was like are you really nervous? I was laughing. She brings me up all the way to the line, and she told me to hold up my fan club card up so the people won't get mad at me for cutting, so I was like VIP VIP so people won't get mad at me. Then the guy who talked to me. I thank him very much. He was like my mom was, like wow he must be a big fan or something. He also was about to give me his spot too. When I met Jessica I got her to sign my tennessee sweatshirt from steve and barry's. I shook her hands and told her to tell Marcel to buy her a house in Groisse Pointe, Michigan. Alix [Huber Heights, OH--'A Day in the Country'] [August 10, 2002] I was waiting with a TON of people to meet her, but then they annouced that if you were in her fan club you could go by her bus and meet her first. So me and my mom went with about 10 other people and waited for Jess. Then, she came out, and we formed a line to meet her... When I was about to meet her, I was shaking and was soo nervous! Then I told her what my name was, so she signed my shirt. My mom told her "She's probably as high as a kite right now' (talking about me), and Jess said, 'Awwww!' (LOL). She told me about her web board and said if I wanted to I should join, and I did! It was the best day of my life! Alyssa Miles [Chillicothe Ohio Ross County Fair] [August 9, 2002] It was the best day of my life. I will never forget this moment. She made me cry with excitement, and she even told me I was her number one fan. I was really close to her the whole concert first row, and so the pics turned out like a foot away. If I wanted to I could of touched her shoe. I do have to tell you that this is a experience that you will never forget because you can't!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Jessica! Kellie R. [Delgrosso's Amusement Park in Tipton, PA] [August 4, 2002] It was the BEST day of my whole entire life by far!! The best birthday present ever. Me, my mom and dad drove bearly over 80 miles to see her, and it was the HOTTEST day of the year. I couldn't believe I was actually going to see and meet Jessica for the first time. When I did meet her I was just in total shock. I was about ready to cry when I said hi Jessica! I was about ready to faint. I told her I'm one of her BIGGEST fans and being a singer is my dream. She told me good luck and stay true to what you want to do! I'll never forget that day for the rest of my life. I can't wait to see and meet you again, Jessica!!!!!! Caitlin [Country Fest, Cadott WI] [June 29, 2002] When I met Jessica this past summer, it was by far the best day of my life. Jessica really is the sweetest and most down to earth person you'll ever meet. I can't wait to meet her again! I love you Jess!!! Carol Schroeder [Ohio] [August 4, 2001] She was so nice to me. I look like her, and she said that I look like her. I was 14 like her, and I have the same dogs and their names as her. Erin S. [Michigan Golf Outing] [July] I met Jessica at a golf outing with Marcel. She was really nice, and really down to earth. |
