for more than I've been given.
Living life has taught me many lessons,
brought many tears,
many laughs,
many variations of memories.
Memories spent with you
stick out like a flame in the dark
shining brightly in my mind
bringing light to my eyes
and fire to my heart.
The heart that longs
longs for forgiveness
of sins, of faults - evil deeds.
Deeds I try to forget
but forget them, I don't.
stuck in my mind forever
until I come face to face
with the One, the Only
Jesus Christ, my Savior,
Savior of all.
all that is of good and evil,
evil remains in this world,
faltering everyone's step
towards the road of life,
life everlasting.
But God will reach out
of His heavens and capture
capture you in His hand,
the hand that protects you
from the floating desires that sneak up.
All you have to do is believe -
believe and obey Him.
