I'm hearing Your voice
Calling me so strongly,
to make the perfect choice
standing there, so divine
holding His hand to me
saying, "You can live forever,
but only you hold the key."
So I gave up all to follow Him
and forgave all my enemies
And then the Lord stood by me,
and handed me the keys.
He said, "Here you go,
you earned eternal life with Me."
I said, "God, I'm not ready to leave yet,
can you please just let me be?"
He said, "I'll give you one more day
to say what you want to say,
to do what you want to do,
but remember, only one more day."
So I went back down to earth
and the first thing I knew
was that I wanted so much
to tell you that I love you
And then I tried to spread my love
to everyone who didn't know
And then Jesus reappeared
so then I kneeled down low.
"I'm ready to go oh Holy One,
please take me now."
He said, "Come with me dear child."
and then I slowly bowed.
I walked off in the distance
holding hands with my best friend
And we entered through the Pearly Gates
and disappeared around the bend.
