I know I can count on you.
If I ever need some guidance,
I know that every word you say is true.
I realize all the things you've done for me,
and I thank you for those.
I give you thanks for all the times
you've helped me with my highs and lows.
I love how we can talk effortlessly
about every little thing,
your so very easy to talk to,
and in front of you, I can sing.
Sometimes when I'm having trouble
with holding up my head,
I think back a few days,
to something you might have said.
Your words have guided me gracefully,
having helped me through long days.
The faith you have in God alone,
has continued to make me amazed.
I thank you for the many memories
that we have created for forever,
I will keep them in my gracious heart,
they will leave my life never.
I wish you well in your path to God,
and if you stumble and fall,
don't forget about Jesus Christ,
for he never softens his call.
