| "Cause I want it that way" "Jessica stop singing that song, you're driving me crazy" Justin said "Sorry honey, you know how much I love them, especially Nick, he's such a cutie" Jessica said, jokingly. "ugh!, I give up" Justin said as he stood up to leave. "Call me when you're ready to go" he said before he left. "Fine" she said "I can't believe that still gets to him." Britney said Nsync, Britney, and Jessica were in LA for a party that was thrown for the Backstreet Boys by Jive. The party was for the release for the Backstreet Boys' greatest hits album that was about to be released. Jive hoped that Nsync being at a Backstreet Boys' party would finally end the feud for good. It probably wasn't going to work, but they had to try something. Jessica had been a fan of the Backstreet Boys for years and Britney always loved to bother Justin with that. Jessica sometimes (like now) joined in. Justin and Jessica had been going out for the past two years and they couldn't be happier. ************************************************************************************** 10 Minutes later Jessica called Justin on her cellphone. "hi sweetie." she greeted "Hi" Justin said kinda distant "You're not still mad about that whole Backstreet thing right?" she asked "of course not" he tried to convince her "uhhuh, Justin you know I was joking. Why does this always get to you anyway, so I like the Backstreet Boys, big deal, a lot of people do." "Yeah but those other people don't date people that just happened to be the Backstreet boys number 1 rivals" he tried to explain, he knew he was being childish, but he couldn't help it his own girlfriend preferred the Backstreet Boys instead on Nsync. "Honey, you know I love you, I'm with you, I make love to you, besides I don't even know them. You know that" "You will after tonight." "Justin, what are you talking about, it's a big party, very little chance that we'll actually bump into each other, you know that, just like when we went to the Aaron Carter party, they were there, but we didn't bump into each other. This party is going to be bigger, very little chance we'll actually see them, or they us" "I forgot to tell you didn't i?" he said "Forgot to tell me what?" she asked confused "well see, Jive has decided that the whole Backstreet vs Nsync thing has got to stop, after that whole incident." "what incident?" she said even more confused. "I didn't tell you that either? Well last week an Nsync fan apperently went and trashed Nick Carter's house. They wrote on the door, it said, um, The Backdoor Boys suck, Nsync number one forever." "Oh my God are you serious, did they catch them?" She asked "yeah, but anyway, since that happened, the people at Jive said that maybe fans would finally get along if we hanged out together, that way the fans would see that there is no rivary and hopefully the whole thing would end." "Ok so what does all that have to do with tonight" she asked still confused "we have to sit at the same table, eventualy have a normal conversation, and smile for the cameras and hope that everybody would believe it." "But you guys have never got along. This should be a very interresting night." "You're not helping, anyway you and Brit ready to go?" "yeah, i'll meet you in the car, Britney we'll meet you and the guys at the lobby. Try not to get killed by the mobs of fans ok?" Jessica joked. "Oh before I forget, we're going to be sharing a limo with the Backstreet Boys, so try to make friends ok?" he quickly said as he hanged up. "WHAT!" "hello, Justin, i know this boy didn't hang up on me" "apperently he did" Britney said "shut up, how come you didn't tell me that we were sharing a limo with the backstreet boys?" "Because i thought Justin had told you, besides it's not all of the Backstreet Boys, it's just AJ, Nick and his date Vivian" "Since when are Vivian and Nick going out, when the hell did this happened" "I don't know it's what JC told me" Britney and Jc had been going out for the past 9 months "There's not going to be any cat fights between you and Vivian are there" Vivian was a new singer from Jive records. Ever since she came out alot of people have been saying "watch out Britney" "Shut up, anyway i'll see you in the car, try not to rape one of the backstreet boys please, Justin will not be happy." "hahahaha, you're so not funny" Jessica said on the way out the door laughing. "Hi Ronnie" she greeted one of Nsync's bodygaurd, he's always been in charge of her when they had to go somewhere, like the party. She followerd Ronnie, they had to go to the back of the hotel were the Limo was waiting for her, the car would then meet the guys at the front. She could have gone with Justin at the front but she knew that some fans didn't like her that much so she preffered to go through the back. Besides, Justin's fans were one of the most important things to him, so she didn't mind. She got into the limo surprised to find the 2 backstreet boys already there. "Hi" she said a little awkard "Hi" Vivian greeted "I'm sorry, i'm not trying to be rude or anything, but um, who are you?" Vivian asked "oh, I'm Jessica, Justin's girlfriend" she tried to explain "sure you are" Nick muttered "I'm sorry what was that" Jessica asked knowing full well what he said. It was so like people not to believe her. Oh well not her problem. "Don't mind him, i'm AJ, that's Vivian, and the asshole is Nick." AJ said as he flirtatiosly smiled at him "Do you ever stop" Nick asked AJ "Stop what?" Aj asked "Flirting. She just said she's an Nsyncers' girlfriend, are there no limits for you?" "I thought you didn't believe me" Jessica interrupted "Yeah Carter, whatever happened to 'sure you are'" Vivian asked "shut up, just don't talk to me, and tell your boyfriend not to talk to me, I can't believe yo guys have to be at our party, I mean for once can we have one night without Nsync being in our faces" Nick said, it was obvious they had, had that conversation before from the look that Vivian and AJ both gave him. The door opened interrupting the conversation. Justin, JC, and Britney enterred the Limo. "Where are the others" Jessica asked "In another limo." Justin said, before he gave her a tap on the lips. "Get a room" JC said "You think after two years of dating they'd be sick of each other." Britney added "Shut up." Justin said There was an awkard silence in the group. "So...Congratulations on the Greatest Hits album, it's really cool." Britney tried to make conversation. "Thanks" AJ answered politely "So tell me Justin, how did a guy like you, get a woman like Jessica over there" AJ said, smiling at Jessica "That's my fault, I should have been rude to you when we met you know that? You're lucky I liked your shoes." Britney said "Love you too Britney" Jessica said sarcastically "I'm guessing you introduced them" Vivian said "Yeah, 5 years ago, it took him 3 years to actually make a move though" Britney said There was an another awkard silence. Everybody sat silently in the limo, not knowing what to say to each other. JC, Britney, Vivian, and Nick kept staring out the windows. AJ kept glancing at Jessica, Justin noticed this and kept giving AJ death stares, and Jessica kept playing with her nail, not noticing a thing. AJ then decided it was way to quiet and decided to make coversation with Jessica "So Jessica, are you a fan of our music?" AJ asked hoping he didn't sound conceited. "Yes I am, i really enjoy your music" Jessica answered picking her words carefully, she didn't want to have another discussion with Justin again. "Enjoy? more like obssesed." Britney muttered Nobody heard her though except JC, who laughed quietly. "What's your favorite song, maybe later I can get the boys to saranate the song for you." AJ said "Nobody is saranating anybody McLean, and I suggest you keep away from MY girlfriend." Justin said, he was so sick of this guy. Jessica looked at her boyfriend, surprised, he's never acted like this before, what could be the problem? All AJ was doing was being nice. "What are you talking about Timberlake? I'm being nice to a fan. Is what I do, besides if Jessica wants to hear us sing what's the big deal?" AJ said, never taking his eyes off of Jessica. "She's my girlfriend, don't forget that." Justin replied "Look at that we're here" Britney interrupted, this was going to be a long night. Britney took JC's hand and stepped out of the Limo, to be bombared by flashes of pictures being taken by the media and fans. Vivian and Nick followed them, AJ then stepped out and finally Jessica and Justin. They all put on their smiles and stepped on the red carpet. This really was going to be a long night. ***************************************************************************************** ~At the Party~ Jessica, Britney and Vivian were the only ones at the table talking. Kevin and his wife, Kirstin, were dancing. Brian and his wife, Leighann, were dancing. Howie and his girlfriend, Claudia, were dancing. Chris and his girlfriend, Lucy, and Joey and his girlfriend, April, were talking to some friends they had spotted. Lance was somewhere with some girl he'd just met. "So i'm taking my run on the beach and this girl just bumps into me, I was so small she just nocked me down." Britney said laughing. "It's not like you were looking were you were going either Brit so don't even." Jessica said "That's hilarios" Vivian said laughing also. "So if you don't mind me asking how did you and Justin get together?" Vivian asked Jessica. "Well, It was 2 years ago, on the day of my prom 10 minutes before my date was suppossed to pick me up he called and cancelled." "That's terrible!" Vivian interrupted "Yeah I know, anyway, Justin was supposed to be in New York with the rest of the boys, but he showed up at my door and took me to the dance, then we were on the beach and he told me he loved me." Jessica said with a grin on her face. "That's so sweet." Vivian exclaimed "So how did you and and Jc get together" Vivian asked Britney Jessica started giggiling. "Shut up, anyway, well we met back at the MMC thing and we've been friends ever since, 9 months ago we were at a party, and we were playing spin the bottle, when it was my turn it landed on JC. We kissed and then we looked at each other and we kissed again." "Kissed? You jumped on the poor guy, you looked like you were trying to rape him." Jessica said, laughing. "I did not" Britney said "Yes you did honey, but i'm glad you did" Jc said "So how did you and Nick get together?" Jessica asked "I was on tour with them last year, we've been together ever since." Vivian answered. "Well ain't that sweet." Jessica said "So you guys in love?" Britney asked "Yeah, you know how he told me? We were eating pizza and he said Vivian I love you and then kept on eating, so i'm sitting there like what the hell was that" Vivian said laughing Britney and Jessica laughed with her. "How about you and JC" Vivian asked "No" Jessica said "Actually..." Britney said "What?! How come you didn't tell me anything?" Jessica said in a mock shock "He just told me tonight, after you left, he came into the room, he gave me this ring and told me he loved me, I told him he loved him and well I'm so happy." Britney said "Oh my god, are you serious? That's so sweet it's about time, you know he got the ring about a month ago." Jessica stated "You knew?!" Britney said surprised "Of course I knew, who do think helped pick out the ring?" Jessica said "Why didn't you tell me?" Britney said "What and ruin the surprise? I don't think so" Jessica said "That's so sweet. It sure beats the the pizza story, as sweet as that was" Vivian said. "I have to go to the ladies room, care to join me ladies?" Britney asked "Ok, be right back sweetie" Jessica said as she kissed Justin "Be back" Vivian told Nick as she kissed him "Be back in a minute" Britney told JC as she kissed him. ************************************************************************************* ~At the table~ Nobody said anything. They just stared at each other. Until Justin couldn't take it anymore. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Justin asked AJ "What the hell are you talking about?" Aj asked knowing full well what Justin was talking about "I'm talking abou the fact that you keep staring at MY girlfriend, I'm warning you McLean don't try anything, she would never go for you understand" "Listen Timberlake, i'm sick of you accusing me of trying to suduce your girl, trust me if I wanted her, I would have her by now." AJ said The girls came back ending their discussion. 'I'll Never Break Your Heart.' came on. "Hey Jessica may please have this dance" Aj asked "Sure" Jessica said She took AJ's hand and led him to the dance floor. "They're way too close" Justin said more to himself than anyone else. "No they're not, that's just your imagination" Britney said before she grabbed JC and dragged him to the dance floor. Brian walked up to Vivian and asked her to dance. "I've had enough of this" Justin said before he stood up to cut in. "May I cut in" Justin asked "Of course she is of course yours" AJ said mockingly. "I'll save you a dance AJ" Jessica said before he left "I can't wait" Aj said Jessica then started dancing with Justin. AJ went back to the table to be greeted by a smurking Nick. "What's your problem?" "You really think you can get her to be yours, to seriosly dump Justin and get with you?" "Of course. You know I can. Why are you asking?" "I gill give you $10,000 dollars if you make it happen." Nick said AJ just laughed "You're really willing to lose all that money? Why?" "Simple McLean, it's time we put Mr. Timberlake, over there, in his place, under us." "Why do you hate him so much Carter." "Easy, he's an Nsyncer, Is it a deal." "It's a deal" "I'll give you 4 months, by that time I want you to have her cheat on him with you, then make her fall in love with you and then finally dump her, crush her, and make her suffer." Nick said "Why do you hate her? She didn't do anything to you." "I don't hate her. I hate him. It's simple. He loves her, he'll always love her it's obvious. If she tells him she's happy with you, it'll crush him. When she gets devastated when you dump her, it'll hurt him even more." "How do you know when I dump her he won't be happy." "Trust me, he loves her, If she's hurting then he'll hurt ten times more. "Alright" They watched the happy couple. Jessica had her head on his shoulder. It was adorable.
