| She was raped. No matter how many times she said it to herself she just couldn't belive it. She didn't know what to do, what to think, all she knew is that she had been raped. Somebody had stole two of the most important things to her, her virginity and her childhood. She was only 16. For as long as she could remember, she had always wanted to wait until marriage to make love. But all that changed. For what seemed like a blink of an eye her whole world was turned upside down. She felt so used, so abused, and so dirty. All she wanted to do was go home and shower over and over so that maybe those disturbing feelings would go away. But she knew if she went home she would be by herslf again. Her mother had died when she was only 3 and her dad was an alchoholic. She didn't have anybody. So she just walked, and walked scared of anything and anybody that came near her. It had all happened a couple of hours ago, at a party. She and her boyfriend, Justin, had gone there to celebrate their six-month anniversity. She didn't know anybody else at the part since they were all college friends of Justin's brother, Michael. The second they got there, Alex headed to the kitchen to get them something to drink. When he came back she was surprised to find out that something was beer. She didn't drink it but he did. He kept drinking throughout the night even though he was underage (17) and she had begged him not to. But he didn't listen. All he did the whole night was drink and flirt with other girls. It hurt her. She just wanted to get out of there, but she couldn't find him. She went upstairs to see if anybody had seen him. When she opened a door to a room, there he was. Ready to have sex with another girl. He saw her and sent the girl away. She thought he would apoloigize, but he did the unthinkable. He started blaming her for everything. He said that if she would have "given him some in the first place he wouldn't have to go and find it from somplace else." She couldn't belive it. She tried to leave but he grabbed her. Then it happened. He raped her. She tried to stop him but he was to strong. When it was all done with, he passed out and she ran away. Tears ran down her face just from thinking about it. So she went to only place where she knew she would finally be able to bring her misery to an end: the bridge. When she got there she knew she was making the right decision. She jumped with a smile on her face, and tears in her eyes. The smile was from knowing that she could finally be happy, and the tears were from knowing nobody was going to miss her. She was right. |
