Semana 6: Orientarse
- Activities
- Draw It!: Divide the flashcards between the teams. Each flashcard has a different point value depending on how many points it's worth. You can make up your own specific rules for the game, but the general idea is that one member of the team has to go to the front and either draw or act out the cards until someone from the group guesses correctly.
- Guess Who!: If anyone has a "Guess Who!" game they could bring in, that would be a great activity for this class. As of right now, the organization doesn't have this game.
- Kitchen Utensils: We will have made up some flash cards of the different utensils for you to review with. Make sure to get everyone involved and answering the translations.
- Homework: Go over Verb homework in class.
- Pronunciation Activity: t: Go over in class. See week 2.
- Pronunciation Activity: p
- Week 6: Getting Around: Go over in class. (Note: Some of the pictures on this handout are real places in Columbus. downtown is Columbus, the park is Goodale Park, university and building are the Oval and University Hall, and library is the Columbus Public Librarys branch on High Street near King Ave.)
- Directions: Go over in class. (Note: Although my monkey looks somewhat more like a bear, it's still pretty freaking cute.)
- Grammer 3: Adjectives: This is homework. Explain in class.
- Field trip to the computer lab: Let the students know that the next week will be the field trip to a computer lab. The class will meet in the regular place to do class activities and then will relocate to the EHS library in Sullivant Hall to do the computer assignment.
