| Last time on the Legacy of the Axems- Wizard and Blood Knight began their battle. A battle between Light and Darkness. Wizard decreases Blood Knight's HP to a mere ten, but with luck, Blood Knight survives and transforms into his dark side, Axem Hell. An Axem who has never known defeat, an Axem who thrives upon darkness and fire to torture his foes. But as the battle between Wizard and the new dark Axem, Axem Hell, engages, Wizard also under-goes a transformation. Wizard mysteriously uses the powers of the Realm Ruby to transform into Axem Wizard Angel. A powerful Light Axem who looks upon his powerful Magic attacks and defenses to eliminate the forces of darkness. But as the battle between Axem Wizard Angel and Axem Hell rages on, Peace turns up on the battle field. Wizard urges Peace to leave, but she refuses and began to charge up one of her own Light Spheres. Hell became angered and shot a beam from each of his red pupils. Wizard ran to Peace's rescue and, as he did this, just before the beams struck him, the powers used to transform him returned back into the Realm Ruby. Wizard was stricken with the two beams and was nearly killed. The Axems came to rescue him, but to no avail, his life was stolen by Hell. The Axems then challenged Blood Knight to a battle. They nearly defeated him, but unfortunately, he escaped. The Axems, with almost dead hearts from the deaths of Axem Wizard and Axem Blue, teleported back to the mansion with another corpse of the one Axem in their friend-ship circle who possessed the most intelligence, wisdom, willpower, and spirit. He nearly falls to the ground, from his battle with his rival enemies. Blood covers him from head-to-toe. He crawls over to his throne, moaning loudly. The moaning carries an eerie screech through his castle, which wakes up many resting demons. He reaches his throne and uses it to support himself as he rises to his feet. He stumbles and almost collapses, but he regains his balance. BLOOD KNIGHT: Axem Wizard... has been destroyed... I knew... I could... beat him! Blood Knight falls on his knees. He begins to lose his focus. BLOOD KNIGHT: I think... it is time... to resurrect... Smithy! Blood Knight wearily crawls over to his enormous cauldron. A green, thick mist floats just above the black cauldron. Inside of it bubbles a thick liquid-substance. Blood Knight strains himself to stand, even while grasping his hands over the top of his cauldron. As he stands to his feet, he looks over into the bubbling substance. A sinister yet weak smile slides across his face. BLOOD KNIGHT: I... may... not... have... enough... energy... to... resurrect... him... to... his... full... potential... but... this... will... have... to... do... Blood Knight covers himself in black healing magic, until he regains his full HP. AXEM BLOOD KNIGHT: 700/700 BLOOD KNIGHT: That's much better! Now, to resurrect the most horrible yet powerful creature on the planet! Smithy! Mwahahahahahaha!!! Mwahahahahaha!!! Mwahahahahahaha!!! Mwahahahahhahahaha!!! Blood Knight looks down at his large cauldron. BLOOD KNIGHT: And all it takes is a simple Spell! Blood Knight turns and walks back over to his throne. He looks under the throne and reaches his hands under it. He grabs and pulls out a large and dusty Spell Book. He blows the dust off of it and wipes the top with his right hand. He chuckles as he spins around and runs back over to the cauldron. He quickly opens the book and flips through hundreds of pages. About three minutes later, he stops turning the pages. He blows the dust off the page and places it on a wooden stand in front of him. He licks his lips as if the spell were a tasty treat, only he is not going to eat it. He scans his hands through the spell, quickly reading it as he runs his index finger along the ancient words and letters. BLOOD KNIGHT: Ha! This Spell shouldn't be very difficult at all! I can read the words better than I can battle with others! Not really. I'm exaggerating. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! THEME MUSIC: http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/n64/MMSkullKid.mid Blood Knight looks back at the Spell Book and begins to scream the spell out-loud. BLOOD KNIGHT: Ayni Utia Bulerio Mahifi Iiano!!! He continues to scream the Spell many times, with each time getting louder and louder. Many demons in his castle have to cover their ears to withstand the screaming. As Blood Knight continues to yell the Spell out-loud, the cauldron begins to bubble furiously. Just then, a figure begins to rise up out of the cauldron. Blood Knight's eyes widen as he continues to speak the Spell. The giant body of Smithy completely arises from the cauldron. His body cautiously floats over the cauldron. The green liquid has completely disappeared. Blood Knight begins to calm his voice, but he still continues to speak the Spell. His voice gets slower and softer, until he finished. The giant body of Smithy looms in the air a few feet away from Blood Knight. As Blood Knight observes Smithy, he nearly begins to vomit. Smithy's body is green and decayed. Many chunks of his skin hang down from his body. Blood slowly drips down from his nostrils. His eyes are black and lifeless. Bugs and critters crawl in and out through his body. Blood also covers his right arm. In his right arm, he holds his giant hammer. The hammer has sustained quite a bit of damage and is also rusted. His arms and legs are just as green as his body, some parts even a darker green. In some places on his body, he is even black and brown. He is completely molded down from his head to his toes. He wears nothing on his feet. On his left arm is a golden gauntlet. His mouth is filled with jagged teeth that are enormous. Other than what has changed about him, everything else remains the same. He has the same body structure as he did when we was alive. He is in his true form, the second form that Mario and his allies had to defeat. This is Zombie Smithy. Blood Knight looks back and observes the golden gauntlet on his left arm. BLOOD KNIGHT: (thinking) I don't recall Smithy ever wearing a golden gauntlet on his left arm... Where did he receive it? Could it have been a gift from the under world? Zombie Smithy's eyes suddenly flicker a blood-red color. Terrified, Blood Knight jumps back. They continue to flicker for about ten seconds, then stop and remain this red color. Zombie Smithy then begins to observe the room. He then looks at Blood Knight's throne, then at Blood Knight. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Who are you? Zombie Smithy's voice produces a strange and deep sound when he speaks. It sounds as if his voice cracks a bit, revolving the way his voice sounds when he speaks. Blood Knight bows down to Zombie Smithy. BLOOD KNIGHT: I am Axem Blood Knight... One of your greatest Axem creations! ZOMBIE SMITHY: Ahhh, yes. I remember you now. You were the Axem I created to destroy and conquer Earth. Have you completed your mission, Axem Blood Knight? BLOOD KNIGHT: Heh, no, not exactly... But this is a most glorious day for the Dark Realm! Now, I can finally wreak havoc on Earth, then conquer it with your help, Great Smithy! Mwahahahahahahahahaha!!! Zombie Smithy looks down at his body. He begins to observe himself. Blood Knight's face suddenly turns to one of confusion. BLOOD KNIGHT: Is something wrong, Great One? Zombie Smithy continues to observe himself. He then looks up at Blood Knight. ZOMBIE SMITHY: My name is Zombie Smithy from now on. BLOOD KNIGHT: ... Yes, I guess that makes sense... Zombie Smithy grins with a look of exotic hate on his face. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Yes, it does, doesn't it? Zombie Smithy clears his throat, which causes a screech-like noise to echo through the room. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Now, back to the subject we were talking about... BLOOD KNIGHT: Ahh, yes... So, when do we attack our enemies?! Zombie Smithy smiles sinisterly. ZOMBIE SMITHY: We attack them... now! BLOOD KNIGHT: Yes, we will destroy the Light Axems! Mwahahahahahahaha!!! ZOMBIE SMITHY: Light Axems?! I thought you meant Mario and his fellow comrades... BLOOD KNIGHT: Heh... ZOMBIE SMITHY: Onto the Mushroom Kingdom to defeat Mario and his friends first! BLOOD KNIGHT: ... Right... Very well, Lord Zombie Smithy. Without responding, Zombie Smithy and Blood Knight vanish. ELAPSE TIME AND PLACE Zombie Smithy and Blood Knight appear in the middle of Mushroom Kingdom. Many of the folk living in Mushroom Kingdom automatically seem them and begin to run around, screaming for their dear lives. TOAD MAN #1: SMITHY HAS RETURNED!!!!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!! TOAD WOMAN: EVERYONE, GET INTO YOUR HOUSES!!!!! With that said, all of the towns-people run back into their houses and slam theirs doors shut. They all lock their doors as well. Zombie Smithy grins. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Tough crowd... Now to kill Mario and the others. (JAMEY'S NOTE: And from now on, no villains may pass through solid doors :) ) Blood Knight rolls his eyes. BLOOD KNIGHT: Fine, whatever... Both of them turn and begin to walk toward Princess Toadstool's castle. When they reach the doors, Mario suddenly bursts out from the castle doors, knocking Zombie Smithy and Blood Knight backwards. ZOMBIE SMITHY: ARGH!!! Mario then pounces on Blood Knight's head for a boost. Blood Knight is nearly thrown to the ground due to the force of Mario's powerful feet. Mario lands behind them, grinning. MARIO: Mama' mia'! You can't get into the castle without a battle from mesa'! Zombie Smithy and Blood Knight quickly turn around to face Mario, however, now standing near him are the figures of Mallow, Luigi, and Toadstool. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Where are Geno and Bowser?! Suddenly, from the sky, a giant star shoots down from the clouds. Standing on the star is Geno. GENO: Ready for us, Smithy? Geno jumps off of his star. The star then flies back up into the clouds, disappearing as it flies up farther and farther away. Then the form of Bowser is seen charging towards Smithy. BOWSER: Die, Smithy, die! He suddenly stops as he stands almost ten feet away from Zombie Smithy and Blood Knight. He is the first to recognize the change about Smithy's body. BOWSER: What happened to you?! The others then observe Smithy. All of their faces turn green as they try to stop themselves from throwing up. ZOMBIE SMITHY: I will not be insulted like this! Let the battle begin! All of them stop and grin at Zombie Smithy and Blood Knight. EVERYONE: Fine! With everything settled, the battle begins. BATTLE THEME: http://www.vgmusic.com/ music/console/nintendo/n64/ dk64_kingkrool_hardrock.mid MARIO: 1,200/1,200 LUIGI: 900/900 MALLOW: 750/750 PRINCESS TOADSTOOL: 650/650 GENO: 1,500/1,500 BOWSER: 2,000/2,000 AXEM BLOOD KNIGHT: 700/700 ZOMBIE SMITHY: (Unknown) Mario lunges at Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy quickly uses his powerful hammer and delivers a terrible blow to Mario. Mario is sent soaring back into a civilian's home. The blow takes a whopping 400 HP from him. MARIO: 800/1,200 Bowser quickly charges at Zombie Smithy once more. He catches Zombie Smithy off-guard and quickly slashes him, creating a large gash in Zombie Smithy's body. However, Zombie Smithy receives no damage, and the flesh that was lost regenerates quickly. They all gasp. Zombie Smithy laughs. ZOMBIE SMITHY: I cannot be injured! There is no way for any of you to beat me! Zombie Smithy slams his hammer on the ground, creating a massive shock-wave that spreads out towards his foes. All of them are hit. Mario and Geno are the only lucky ones to dodge such an attack. Luigi loses 250 HP, Mallow loses 120 HP, Toadstool loses 300 HP, and Bowser loses 240 HP. LUIGI: 650/900 MALLOW: 630/750 PRINCESS TOADSTOOL: 350/600 BOWSER: 1,760/2,000 Mallow's hands suddenly begin to glow a yellowish glimmer. A few seconds later, he shoots a massive thunder-bolt from his palms that hits both Zombie Smithy and Blood Knight. Zombie Smithy, again, loses no HP, but Blood Knight's HP is lowered to 350 HP. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Mwahahahahaha!!! It's going to take a lot more than those pathetic attacks to penetrate through me! BLOOD KNIGHT: How can you say that?! They're powerful! Toadstool uses Group Hug on all of her allies. All of her comrades and herself are brought back to full health. MARIO: 1,200/1,200 LUIGI: 900/900 MALLOW: 750/750 PRINCESS TOADSTOOL: 650/650 GENO: 1,500/1,500 Zombie Smithy growls. ZOMBIE SMITHY: You won't have the chance to use such a healing technique again! A red beam of energy suddenly shoots out of Smithy body. All of his enemies are hit by this beam. Most of them take massive damage, but Toadstool falls to the ground, unconscious. MARIO: 250/1,200 LUIGI: 100/900 MALLOW: 300/750 PRINCESS TOADSTOOL: 0/650-KOed GENO: 500/1,500 BOWSER: 950/2,000 LUIGI: Ullllll..... GENO: Oh no! Our healer has been knocked unconscious! MARIO: Who brought the potions?! No one answers. Mario slaps his hand to his forehead. MARIO: We're done for! ZOMBIE SMITHY: Do you want me to take away all of your pain and suffering? Fine! Zombie Smithy shoots out another red beam of energy. Mallow quickly creates an electric shield in front of himself and his allies. The shield blocks the red beam, and destroys it. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Grrrrr... MARIO: Thanks'a for the shield, Mallow! MALLOW: No problem. Blood Knight sneaks up behind Mallow. Blood Knight quickly charges at Mallow, with his fist out, ready to deliver a punch. Mallow senses this and a wooden staff appears in his hands. He quickly turns around and clonks Blood Knight on his head with all of his might, instantly KOing him. AXEM BLOOD KNIGHT: 0/700-KOed ZOMBIE SMITHY: Now you will pay, puny one! Mallow spins around and looks at Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy shoots another red beam of energy at Mallow and the others. Mallow quickly forms the same electrical shield that he used before. The red beam hits the electric shield, destroying it, but, again, Mallow and his allies take no damage whatsoever. Zombie Smithy roars with rage. MARIO: Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this'a morning! Mario quickly shoots five Fireballs at Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy allows them to hit, however, takes no damage. Zombie Smithy laughs. Mario stands stunned with the rest of his comrades. MARIO: How does he'a do that?! Zombie Smithy does not reply, but instead shoots dozens of red Energy Spheres at his enemies. Mallow quickly forms a shield of water around his comrades. The red Energy Spheres hit the shield and explode on impact. Zombie Smithy becomes enraged and stomps his feet on the ground several times, sending many ripples towards the heroes. They all jump over the ripples. Luigi shoots several of his green Fireballs at Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy easily absorbs them, and this time, shoots two beams of red energy at his foes. Mallow quickly forms the electrical shield. The two beams hit the shield. The first one penetrates through the shield; however none of them are hit. But the second one, however, freely flies in the air towards the five heroes. Geno suddenly runs toward the red beam. He begins to charge up his Geno Whirl attack. This is his most powerful technique. Just as the beam nears the five of them, Geno quickly unleashes the Geno Whirl. It flies at the beam as it gets closer. Finally, the two attacks collide, however, the Geno Whirl cuts through Zombie Smithy's beam. Zombie Smithy's red beam keeps soaring through the air; however it is now in two pieces. Zombie Smithy gasps as he looks at what had happened between the collisions. The red beam flies over Mario, Luigi, Mallow, Geno, and Bowser and explodes in thin air, harming nothing. Geno's Geno Whirl attack crashes into a surprised Zombie Smithy. The collision of the Geno Whirl explodes and slices Zombie Smithy in half. The upper half of Zombie Smithy's body hovers above the lower half. Just then, Zombie Smithy smiles. GENO: No! It can't be! The upper half of Zombie Smithy's body begins to lower to the lower half. The two halves then connect and recuperate together. Zombie Smithy is now one big piece all over again. GENO: I can't believe my most powerful attack did not harm him! Zombie Smithy does not reply, but shoots another red beam of energy at the five of them. MALLOW: I'm running out of power... I need more energy... Mallow quickly reforms the electric shield again. The red beam of energy hits and penetrates the shield. Fortunately, none of them are injured. Zombie Smithy grins sinisterly. ZOMBIE SMITHY: (thinking) Great. That's what I was hoping they'd do. Still grinning, Zombie Smithy holds up his right arm, preparing for his strongest attack, Blood Blast. Suddenly, from his right arm, hundreds of gallons of blood enchanted with dark energy shoot out of Zombie Smithy's right arm. GENO: Flip back! Geno and Mallow are the only ones who were prepared for such a powerful attack. They quickly flip backwards, just inches away from being drenched with Zombie Smithy's enchanted blood. Unfortunately, Mario, Luigi, and Bowser are pounded with the Blood Blast. When the attack is over, Mario, Luigi, and Bowser remain standing, but they are screaming to the top of their lungs as Zombie Smithy's blood quickly drains their HP, and burns their skin. Geno and Mallow watch in horror as their teammates collapse to the ground, unconscious. MARIO: 0/1,200-KOed LUIGI: 0/900-KOed BOWSER: 0/2,000-KOed MALLOW: It is only up to us now to defeat Smithy. Geno nods. GENO: Yes, Prince Mallow... only up to us... MALLOW: We must do all we can to stop Smithy once again and banish him to the Realm of the Dead. GENO: It will be done! Geno and Mallow both look at Zombie Smithy. GENO: You will pay for your wrongful doings! MALLOW: We're going to wipe the floor with your head, Smithy! Zombie Smithy sinisterly laughs. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Do the both of you really think you can defeat such a powerful fiend as myself?! I'm going to smear the roads of the Mushroom Kingdom with your blood! I'm going to paint the world red! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!! Mwahaahahahahahaha!!! Mallow twirls his staff around in a warrior's stance. GENO: Let the battle of Good and Evil continue! Mallow and Geno charge into battle. STOP MUSIC ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Light Axems all sit around in the mansion. Most of them are crying, while others are thinking. Inferno is the only one standing because of the flames that engulf his body. He is deeply pondering about certain things. Peace, Mahogany, Mimic, Cobalt, and Goldenrod sit on the longest couch in the mansion. Peace, Mahogany, Mimic, and Cobalt are crying, while Goldenrod ponders. Goldenrod then speaks aloud to the Axems. GOLDENROD: What are we supposed to do now? What are the possibilities? COBALT: We don't know, Goldenrod... I don't know what we can do... INFERNO: The first thing we need to do is make funeral arrangements... That's probably all that we can do right now... Suddenly, Inferno head is filled with pain. INFERNO: AH! Inferno clutches his head with his hands and falls to his knees. The Axems gasps and run over to him. COBALT: Inferno, what's wrong?! Inferno does not reply. The pain in his head grows worse. INFERNO: AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! H20: INFERNO!!!!! Inferno begins to lose focus. Just then, the pain inside Inferno's head subsides. He regains focus and looks at the Axems. ICE: Inferno, are you okay?! Inferno stands without replying to Ice. INFERNO: Mario, Luigi, Mallow, Geno, Toadstool, and Bowser are in trouble. ALL AXEMS except INFERNO: WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! COBALT: What's wrong with them?! INFERNO: I'm afraid I cannot tell any of you... the news with be harsh... SNOW: Inferno, tell us! We are Axems, and we also have the right to know! Inferno sighs. INFERNO: Fine... Everyone..... Smithy has returned. All of the Axems except Inferno gasp. ALL AXEMS except INFERNO: WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?! ORANGE: But... it's just not possible... GOLD: Yes, it is. I just got the feeling myself. Smithy has returned, and he's a lot more powerful than he was before, and probably ever will be. COBALT: But... how?! Gold sighs. GOLD: I do not know... But what I do know is that he must be defeated and banished again, this time forever! Smithy must be stopped, whatever he plans to do to us next! Peace stands up, wiping the tears away from her eyes. The other Axems look at her. GOLD: But I suppose we should let Peace make the decision when to strike. PEACE: I want to strike now... I want to take all of my anger out on Smithy and Blood Knight for what Hell did to Wizard! It's pay-back time! COBALT: Yes, it is. Let's get to it! The Axems nod and run to the front door of the mansion. They open it and sprint out to the Blade. They enter the giant axe-shaped ship and only seconds later they fly up and over the horizon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile, Geno and Mallow continue their fight with Zombie Smithy. BATTLE THEME: http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/n64/dk64_kingkrool_hardrock.mid MALLOW: 300/750 GENO: 500/1,500 ZOMBIE SMITHY: (Unknown) Mallow and Geno continue charging at Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy grins and shoots another red beam at his two opponents. Mallow and Geno flip to the side. They retaliate with one of their own attacks. Mallow uses Shocker, and Geno uses Geno Blast. Mallow forms his hands together and shoots a massive lightning bolt at Zombie Smithy. Geno charges up for a few seconds and unleashes a blast of non-elemental energy. Zombie Smithy allows both attacks to hit him. He, again, takes no damage. Mallow jumps up and down furiously. MALLOW: I don't believe this! How can we beat Smithy when none of our attacks affect him?! GENO: I... I don't know... I just don't get it... Zombie Smithy laughs. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Fools! Like I said before, I am invincible! Nothing can harm me now, since I am Zombie Smithy! Mwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! MALLOW: Well that explains a lot, considering his looks. Zombie Smithy growls. ZOMBIE SMITHY: How dare you insult me! You little puff-ball! Die! Zombie Smithy shoots several bolts of red energy at Mallow. Mallow forms a water shield around himself. The bolts collide with the water shield and explode. Mallow is protected by the shield and receives no damage. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Curse those shields! Die! Die! DIE!!! Zombie Smithy raises his hand to shoot several more bolts of red energy at Mallow, however, Geno suddenly appears and gasps onto Zombie Smithy's arm and begins to pull with all of his might. Zombie Smithy simply smiles and his arm begins to glow light-red. Geno quickly jumps away from Zombie Smithy as his arms begin to burn. He lands about ten feet away from Zombie Smithy. Geno looks down at his hands. GENO: What was that?! ZOMBIE SMITHY: None of your business! ... I think it's about time I should finish this! Zombie Smithy uses his Blood Blast technique once more. He slowly raises his right arm and hundreds of gallons of enchanted blood suddenly shoot out of it. Mallow and Geno quickly flip out of the way. The blood splatters against the ground, creating another large pool of blood. Zombie Smithy gasps. ZOMBIE SMITHY: How?! What?! Where?! When?! Why?! Mallow turns and looks at Geno. He begins to whisper something. MALLOW: Geno, I think I have one way to defeat Smithy... But it will take some time. GENO: Ugh... Time is of the essence... But what is your plan? MALLOW: Well, I figured since quick Magical and physical attacks have no effect on him, I was wondering if we could use long, powerful Magical attacks, such as beams or ray... But they must last for minutes. GENO: What a wonderful plan, Mallow, I get what you are saying. Mallow nods. MALLOW: You distract Smithy while I lay down the last blow! GENO: Right! Geno spins around and runs over to Zombie Smithy. He looks at Zombie Smithy and grins. GENO: Hey ugly, how about a little game of tag? Zombie Smithy looks at Geno and growls. ZOMBIE SMITHY: How dare you! Zombie Smithy shoots several red Energy Spheres at Geno. Geno dodges them as Mallow sneaks behind Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy continues to fire red Energy Spheres at Geno. Geno begins to tire. GENO: (thinking) Mallow, whatever you're going to perform, you must accomplish it quickly! I'm almost exhausted. Geno continues to dodge the Energy Spheres. Mallow begins to charge electrical and hydro energy in between his palms. ZOMBIE SMITHY: Geno, you will perish! Mallow continues to charge his attack between his hands. It grows in power with every passing second. Zombie Smithy continues to fire dozens of Energy Spheres. Geno stays on task, dodging all of the spheres, but his body is growing weary. Mallow is finished charging his attack. He launches it at Zombie Smithy. A beam of water blasts out of his palms, electricity encircling around it as it soars toward Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy is off-guard, still firing Energy Spheres at Geno. He is hit by the powerful beam. At first, he smiles, thinking it is going to deplete soon, but it continues with every second. Suddenly, Zombie Smithy begins to scream as the beam begins to hurt him. GENO: It's working, Mallow, keep it up! Just then, several beams of red energy shoot out of Zombie Smithy's body. GENO: What the-?! The beams travel towards Geno at high speeds. ZOMBIE SMITHY: I'm not going... to surrender... so easily... Several of the beams strike Geno, taking 450 HP from him. GENO: 50/1,500 Geno quickly rises to his feet. GENO: I will help you weaken him, Mallow! Geno begins to charge up a Geno Whirl and fires it at Zombie Smithy. He fires Geno Whirl after Geno Whirl, each hitting Zombie Smithy. Zombie Smithy screams in agonizing pain as all of the attacks crash into him. He falls to his knees, holding himself up with one of his hands. ZOMBIE SMITHY: I cannot... give up... yet... I'll... never fail! Zombie Smithy suddenly turns around and eyes Mallow. He weakly raises his left arm above his head, holding his gigantic hammer. Mallow gasps. MALLOW: (thinking) What is he up to?! Whatever it is, I must keep my energy focused on him! Mallow continues the beam. ZOMBIE SMITHY: I will not die! I will... prevail! Zombie Smithy violently throws his hammer at Mallow. Mallow gasps as the hammer flies toward him. MALLOW and GENO: NO!!!!! Zombie Smithy's hammer strikes Mallow, sending him soaring backwards. Mallow's body violently slams against the ground. He does not make a slight move to stand. Mallow is KO�d. MALLOW: 0/750-KO�d Mallow's beam fades away and Zombie Smithy rises to his feet. He recuperates quickly and grins, staring at Geno. GENO: (thinking) NO! Our hope of winning is lost... We have failed... Without warning, Zombie Smithy lunges forward and grabs Geno by his neck and lifts him up off of the ground. Geno struggles to break free, but Zombie Smithy's grip is too strong for Geno. Zombie Smithy laughs a sinister laugh. ZOMBIE SMITHY: My first victory! I will rule the world! But first, I must destroy the lives of all Light and Holy Peoples! Zombie Smithy's hand suddenly begins to glow black. His hand begins to burn Geno's neck. Geno kicks harshly, but soon, he is knocked unconscious. GENO: 0/1,500-KO'd Zombie Smithy releases Geno's unconscious body. It collapses to the ground. Zombie Smithy looks down at all six of his knocked out opponents. He grins sinisterly. ZOMBIE SMITHY: What a great beginning towards ruling the Universe! Mark my word; I will destroy all who appose me! For I am Zombie Smithy! Zombie Smithy looks over at Blood Knight's unconscious body. He lifts up his hand and shoots a beam of dark energy from his palms. The beam hits Blood Knight and fully revives him. Blood Knight slowly rises to his feet and walks over to Zombie Smithy. BLOOD KNIGHT: Did we- ZOMBIE SMITHY: Yes... we prevailed. Blood Knight grins. ZOMBIE SMITHY: But I almost failed... Mallow came so close to destroying me... Luckily, my strength rose and I took a chance and landed the final blow. BLOOD KNIGHT: Zombie Smithy, no one can defeat you! You are invincible! Zombie Smithy does not respond. They both look in the distance and see a Blade. BLOOD KNIGHT: The Axems! Blood Knight clenches his left fist. ZOMBIE SMITHY: So, the Axems are here? BLOOD KNIGHT: Yes, we must destroy them... NOW!!! Zombie Smithy shakes his head. ZOMBIE SMITHY: We are far too out-numbered to fight them right now. I will gather more evil creatures to help us, and we will fight the Axems another time. Right now, we leave and rest. BLOOD KNIGHT: Whatever... The two of them mysteriously vanish. ELAPSE TIME: The Axems arrive at the scene of the battle between Zombie Smithy, Blood Knight, Mario, Luigi, Prince Mallow, Princess Toadstool, Geno, and Bowser. The Blade carefully lands on the surface of the Earth. The door to the Blade opens and the Axems quickly sprint out. When all of them are out of the Blade and down on the ground, they run over to where the six heroes who are all on the ground unconscious. Mario, Luigi, and Bowser are covered in blood. Princess Toadstool, Geno, and Mallow lay on the blood. A large pool of blood is surrounding the six knocked out heroes. COBALT: This is... terrible... Inferno walks over Mario's unconscious body. He checks Mario's pulse. Inferno looks up at the Axems. INFERNO: He is still alive. Inferno walks over to the others and checks their pulses as well. INFERNO: All of them are alive. PEACE: That's good news. Inferno nods. INFERNO: But if Smithy defeated his worst enemies... Do we really stand a chance against this fiend? How strong could he have possible grown? GOLD: He must have grown very strong to defeat Mario, Luigi, Prince Mallow, Princess Toadstool, Geno, and Bowser. Gold sighs. COBALT: Where could Smithy have gone to? H20: I don't know, but he must have defeated them fast. The blood around them is still fresh... But whose blood is that? Gold walks over to a small patch of blood. He rubs his index and his middle-finger in the blood and smells it. GOLD: The blood we see before us is enchanted blood. It was cursed with dark energy. YELLOW: But what kind of attack could this be? GREEN: The clues just don't make sense... Gold stands and looks at the rest of the Axems. GOLD: I think we should prepare for the worst. We do not know when Smithy and Blood Knight will strike again, or where. We should keep our guards up. Cobalt looks at Peace. COBALT: Peace, you should heal Mario and the rest. Peace: Oh yeah. Peace runs over to Mario and his comrades. Peace waves her hand, spreading lots of healing magic over the six heroes. They slowly open their eyes and look at the Axems. COBALT: What happened to all of you? MARIO: It was'a Smithy! He is'a back from the dead! MALLOW: We couldn't defeat him... He was so much more powerful than us! GENO: None of our attacks could pierce through him. I do not know how we will defeat him this time. GOLD: We need to join forces to stop this menace, and his evil plot. MARIO: Yes'a! That's a great idea! GENO: I like the sound of that. Bowser snarls. BOWSER: Well I don't! TOADSTOOL: Oh, Bowser, stop being such a snob! MALLOW: It's a great idea! Onward to whatever lies ahead of us next! They all nod. Then all of them walk into the Blade. The Blade is ignited. It begins to hover in the air.
