| Mahogany spins the steering wheel of the ship, as it skims across the waves. The Jr. Koopas, after being on the ship for one day were getting pretty used to the ship and eating and sleeping on it. GREEN: Ahoy me mateys! BLACK: Thar be good! MAHOGANY: Lower the sails! Take them all down! BLUE: Why? MAHOGANY: Just do it- and hurry! Blue walked toward the sail- ducking as the boon swung overhead. He quickly pulled the sails down. MAHOGANY: Blue, see that ship over there? Blue looked fore ward to see a ship. Eight oars came out on the sides and moved steadily. A figure whipped the backs of creatures hidden by the wood siding of the ships. MAHOGANY: It�s a slave ship� BLUE: We should free them. MAHOGANY: Exactly. Call the Jr. Koopas over here. I have a plan. ELAPSED TIME: 10 MINUTES Mahogany�s ship is going at a steady pace toward the slave ship. Blue and the other Jr. Koopas hide below deck. Mahogany pulls his ship right beside the slave ship. MAHOGANY: (whispering) Now! Black takes out his Gunblade and hacks a rope. Some more ropes shoot across to the other ship and latch on. Four of the Jr. Koopas (Green, Red, Black, and Silver) scurry across the ropes and onto the ship. The slave driver runs up to them. He�s a demon. One of Xylan�s. DEMON: Kill them! SILVER: Not while I�m living you won�t! Suddenly Silver pulls out his staff and slams it onto the demon�s head. He crumples onto the deck. Meanwhile, Indigo flies on his axe to the section with the slaves. He pulls a small box out of his shell. Three axems and a Jr. Koopa look up at them. The Axems is Over Flame, Wizard, and Orange. The Jr. Koopa is Jr. Koopa Magma. The rest of the slaves (there�s 12, to be exact.) are all humans. Indigo pulls out four knives and hands it to them. INDIGO: Use these to pick the locks. Hurry! The Axems with the four knives fiddle excitedly. Their bonds are soon broken. They pass them to the other slaves. DEMONS: Kill them! Several demons run forward toward the slaves. WIZARD: Xylan stole our powers! The last thing I could do was contact Blue! Indigo nodded. INDIGO: I�ll do the fighting. He quickly pulled two Indigo Tinted swords, and held one in each hand. He threw his rapier to Wizard, told everyone else to fight with the knives, and made his axe guard them for a bit. He spun through the crowd, KO'ing demons like a whirlwind of fury. Wizard held the rapier out. With his powers, his strength and everything else had been drained as well. He now had the strength of a mere human. Suddenly another figure climbed up the boat. WIZARD: Indigo? BLUE: No, Blue. Now come on. To the main room. The slaves followed Blue, confused. He led them to a room in the center of the deck, KO'ing demons every minute. He led them into the room. Inside was a staff, several axes, and a few other weapons. There were also many clear boxes with colored orbs inside. ORANGE: The Orange axe is mine. Orange picked up the axe and started to leave. BLUE: Pick up the orb too. Orange picked up the orb and it sank into his hand. ORANGE: Whoa! Orange suddenly grinned. ORANGE: Yes! My powers they�re back! I�m fast again! Orange zipped around, to show his point. OVERFLAME: Okay. Easy does it, skippy. Overflame walked in and grabbed the red, orange, and yellow axe and the orb. He calmly watched it sink into his hand and went out to blast demons. Wizard walked in, grabbed the staff and an axe that clearly was his and picked up the orb. He grinned. WIZARD: This is good! Xylan will regret this! He stood inside and watched Magma grab a weapon and an orb. He went outside and blasted some streams of concentrated lava at his opponents. BLUE: Say. Who is Xylan? WIZARD: He�s a demon. A demon lord and a brother of Yardivado, or however you say it. He can drain souls to make his own power stronger, possess people, steal their powers, and many other things. Blue and Wizard walked out and noticed all the demons gone.0 MAHOGANY: Reel in the ropes! Jr. Koopas, get over here. Blue hopped on his sword, and with a nod to Wizard he surfed across to Mahogany�s ship. Indigo levitated everyone else over. MAHOGANY: There�s likely to be more of these ships. And we should keep that ship. Blue, you seem skilled with sailing. You take the tiller. Blue nodded and went to the tiller. They sailed for a while until they ran into another ship. Rescuing the slaves they took off all orbs and axes and sunk the ship. Then several minutes later another ship appeared on the horizon. BLUE: Sink it, Mahogany? MAHOGANY: Yes, but not until the slaves are off it. They sailed up and Blue and Mahogany hooked their ropes on. As soon as they did this, more ropes hooked on. Several Jr. Koopas rushed on. JR. KOOPAS: Get them! They attacked us! They must be with Xylan! Crush them! BLUE: Xylan? We�re trying to kill him! The koopa looked at him. KOOPA: My name is Zap. Pleased to meet you. We�re trying to liberate these ships. THUNDER: Do you have any orbs or axes? RED: Yes. Thunder and Plasma and the others rushed in and started grabbing their respective orbs. THUNDER: Those spineless demons won�t survive at all! GREEN: With your personality, I agree completely. END OF EPISODE 13 |
