| Battle One: The �someone� who was walking out of the burnt trees was none other than Axem Takhisis. He was actually running, but because of his speed (the slowest either of the fire Axems had ever seen), he appeared to be walking�and slowly. AXEM INFERNO: Are you ever going to get over here? Takhisis rubbed his chin. AXEM TAKHISIS: Eventually� Over Flame stretched his arms and yawned. When he reopened his eyes, he noticed a black flash of lightening flying at him. It was moving fast, as it was the second mode of Takhisis�s Abysmal Bolt. Inferno also had one flying at him. AXEM OVER FLAME: Whoa! That was low! As Axem Takhisis replied, he tried to reflect the bolt with his axe. It didn�t work very well. The electricity shot through his axe and caused 75 damage. Inferno ducked under his. AXEM TAKHISIS: Actually it was high. It was aimed at your head, after all. AXEM OVER FLAME: Uh�well�shut up! As he said this, Over Flame fired a little fire at the ground. The grass burst into fire, and even after the ground had run out of flammable material, it continued to burn. Takhisis raised an eyebrow. Inferno sighed. AXEM INFERNO: Ah! I love Forest Fire! AXEM TAKHISIS: Um�sure. Just then, both Inferno and Over Flame regained 20 HP. Inferno was at full health anyway, so it didn�t really affect him. Takhisis lost 3 HP from the flames. AXEM INFERNO 500/500 AXEM OVER FLAME 620/675 AXEM TAKHISIS 663/666 AXEM TAKHISIS: This could make the battle a little more interesting� Suddenly a black�hole appeared. It wasn�t exactly a hole, but for lack of a better word to describe it, it was a black hole. �Gap� might also explain it. There was just blackness where the ground should be. It was so black that it looked like there was just nothing there. Anyway, some dark�stuff came out of the hole. Again, this dark stuff is impossible to explain. The dark stuff spread across the entire battlefield. Some spread in all directions. When it hit each of the Axems (there was no way to dodge) they all lost 100. (That included Takhisis) AXEM INFERNO: That was�odd. AXEM TAKHISIS: I opened up a rift to the world of the dead. What�s so weird about that? Inferno breathed out some very hot air. In fact, it was so hot that it was actually flame. It hit Takhisis and caused 30 damage. The flames of Forest Fire caused 3 HP to be taken from Takhisis. Inferno and Over Flame both regained 20. All this happened in a matter of seconds. AXEM OVER FLAME: Opening a rift to the dead world? Nothing�s weird with that. As he said this, he lost 200 HP. However, Takhisis disappeared. AXEM INFERNO: What? AXEM OVER FLAME: You�ll see�just wait a second. ELAPSE PLACE: In the world of the dead: Takhisis suddenly appeared in a large throne room. There were demons all around. Takhisis cocked an eyebrow. Before he could comment, the female demon sitting on the throne fired a black beam at him. When it hit, it caused no damage. However, he suddenly felt more like himself. In other words, more evil. He grinned. The Queen grinned as well. This wiped the smirk from Takhisis. He suddenly disappeared. The Queen sat back to wait. ELAPSE PLACE: Battle One: Axem Takhisis was there again. He reappeared about 50 feet away from the two fire Axems. They had both regained 20 HP in his absence. AXEM TAKHISIS: Was I act- His words were cut off as he doubled over. Some dark stuff came out of his body and disappeared. It appeared to be pulled very hard, like it was ripped out. Takhisis lost 300 damage. Normally this attack would have done only 200-250, but Takhisis had some of his own dark energy that got ripped out and sent back to the Queen. AXEM OVER FLAME: Actually looking at the Queen of the world of the dead? Yup! How do you like my Dark Flare attack? AXEM INFERNO 440/500 AXEM OVER FLAME 360/675 AXEM TAKHISIS 230/666 Suddenly, there was a large explosion near the last place either of them saw Blue. They glanced at each other and looked back at the explosion. All three of the Axems gasped. The Capitol Building had caught on fire. AXEM INFERNO: How come you care? AXEM TAKHISIS: I�m going to rule this planet. Do you think I want to ruin it? Well�Do you think I want to ruin the cool-looking buildings? AXEM OVER FLAME: He�s got a point. That building is�er�was cool. AXEM INFERNO: You just agreed with Takhisis. Over Flame blinked. AXEM OVER FLAME: Uh�It was an accident! To cover for his slip of the tongue, Over Flame decided to return to the battle. He did this by using an Oriki Blast. It was a beam of focused liquid fire. He fired it from his palms at Takhisis. NOTE: Normally, Over Flame would have to charge an Oriki Blast, but with Forest Fire in effect, there was no need. Takhisis used White Dragon. Luckily for him, it used the rarer second mode. This makes a frosty shield around. Even though it if icy, it stops fire attacks (and water attacks too, not that it matters). The Oriki Blast hit the shield and did nothing. Takhisis grinned. However, Forest Fire caused some more damage. It broke Takhisis�s shield, and healed 15 for both Inferno and Over Flame. Both Over Flame and Inferno fired a couple Fireballs at Takhisis. He didn�t try to dodge, but some were improperly aimed. Only 3 hit Takhisis, and they caused 35 damage. AXEM INFERNO: Argh! I forgot how little damage they did to him. Takhisis had used that time to charge up Dragon Tears. This resulted in him regaining 150 HP. He immediately used Black Dragon. This time, the first mode happened. The first mode of Black Dragon is a wall of acid getting sent at an opponent (who happened to be Inferno). It hit him, caused 155 damage, and made Inferno�s muscles feel kind of fatigued. AXEM INFERNO: Why do I feel tired? AXEM TAKHISIS: Lactic acid is what makes your muscles tired� AXEM OVER FLAME: Lacpid what? AXEM INFERNO: Nothing. Inferno threw his axe at Takhisis. Over Flame did as well. Over Flame�s missed, because Takhisis dodged, but Inferno�s hit. It should have caused massive damage, but it only did 100. AXEM INFERNO: What? But you are so weak to non-magic attacks! AXEM TAKHISIS: My last attack lowered your physical attack. AXEM INFERNO 300/500 AXEM OVER FLAME 360/675 AXEM TAKHISIS 245/666 AXEM TAKHISIS (thinking): This isn�t going so well�I might have to use that stupid attack� Takhisis fired a few Abysmal Bolts at each of the fire foes. Both the first and the second mode occurred. The only difference between these two modes is the speed and strength of the bolts. They rolled out of the way of most but were hit by 2 each. Inferno lost 180 HP and Over Flame lost 220. NOTE: The two that hit Over Flame were the stronger, second mode. AXEM TAKHISIS (thinking): Maybe I won�t need to use it� Right as he was thinking this, he got punched in the nose by Over Flame. He lost 200 damage, due to his low defense. He realized he would need to use his least favorite attack, which had the extremely long name of Dragon of All Colors and of None. Takhisis sent Over Flame flying away with magic. At the same time, Forest Fire affected them. Takhisis lost 3 HP, but only Inferno regained 20 HP. Over Flame didn�t regain any because he was in the air, not touching the flames. AXEM TAKHISIS: I usually don�t use this, but you guys are going to make me! As he said this, him, and the air around him, turned black. The blackness transformed into a large dragon with many heads, 5 to be exact. Each was a different color, one color for each of his dragon attacks. Takhisis�s HP grew to 1000, but the rest of his stats dropped. AXEM INFERNO 140/500 AXEM OVER FLAME 140/675 AXEM TAKHISIS 55/1000 NOTE: Takhisis�s HP rose by 33%, which is why he had 55 HP instead of 42. AXEM INFERNO: What the heck is that�thing? AXEM OVER FLAME: A big giant dragoney thing? AXEM INFERNO: I don�t believe �dragoney� is a word� Before Over Flame could reply, the dragon form of Takhisis attacked. The red and green heads attacked, sending off the dragon attacks of their respective colors. The first mode of Green Dragon was used, sending out a cloud of green gas. Inferno could not get out of the way of the gas, so he shot a fireball into it. It erupted in flame and the poisonous effects of the gas did not affect Inferno. Red Dragon also used its first mode. This was a large ball of fire that flew at Over Flame. He let it hit him and regained 50 HP. AXEM OVER FLAME: Ahh�That hits the spot! Inferno used Combust, healing himself 175 HP. Over Flame hit himself with an Oriki Blast and regained 200 HP. NOTE: The reason they regained so much was that Forest Fire increased their stats slightly. Again, two of the heads launched an attack simultaneously. This time it was the white head and the green head. The green head again fired poisonous gas, but this time Over Flame was hit. He was poisoned and for the rest of the battle the poison and Forest Fire canceled each other out. He also lost 25 HP. The white head also shot its attack at Over Flame. A cone of icy mist (the first mode) fired at him. He didn�t see it coming until the last second, and lost 40 HP since he was strong to ice. Inferno used the time to charge at the dragon. He bent to pick up his axe, which was lying next to the Takhisis. When he straightened, he saw acid flying at his face. He lost 175 of his HP. At the same time, Over Flame dodged a bolt of thunder that had originated at the blue head. He back flipped over it. The dragon turned into the black air again. It was suddenly Axem Takhisis in his normal form. AXEM INFERNO 140/500 AXEM OVER FLAME 325/675 AXEM TAKHISIS 42/666 AXEM INFERNO: Ha! You didn�t even harm us! In fact, Over Flame has more HP than before! AXEM TAKHISIS: But he isn�t being healed anymore. As if to emphasize that point, Forest Fire healed Inferno 15, hurt Takhisis by 3, and didn�t affect Over Flame. Takhisis fired a few Abysmal Bolts at each of the fire Axems. They dodged the majority, but Inferno lost 75 HP and Over Flame lost 130. Takhisis used the time to charge up and use Dragon Tears, restoring 150 HP. AXEM INFERNO: Ok, this needs to end. Now. He sent a large fire energy blast at Takhisis. Before it hit him, Inferno feel over KO�d, as he had to use the rest of his HP to do the attack. Takhisis tried to dodge the attack, which is highly inaccurate, but because of his incredibly slow speed, he was hit. He lost 200 HP, which was actually not very much for that particular attack. It was enough to KO him though. AXEM INFERNO 0/500 KO�d AXEM OVER FLAME 195/675 AXEM TAKHISIS 0/666 KO�d AXEM OVER FLAME: The winner by knock out, and undisputed heavyweight champion of the world: Axem Over Flame! He laughed at his own joke and fired a small fire orb into Inferno, restoring 30 HP waking him up. He also made Forest Fire stop, and the poison wore off. Battle Two: Blue and Bob were facing off in a different section of the Capitol Building�s lawn. The building itself hid Takhisis and his opponents. AXEM BLUE: Let us battle. BOB: Uh�yeah. Blue charged at Bob and swung his axe with skill and power. Bob raised his arm as if to fend off the blow. Amazingly, Bob took no damage. He punched Blue�s stomach and he was sent flying back. Blue lost 100 HP. AXEM BLUE 700/800 BOB 100/100 AXEM BLUE: Wow. Your suit sure packs a punch. Bob rolled his eyes and answered sarcastically. BOB: Great pun� AXEM BLUE: That was not intended. BOB: Uh�yeah. AXEM BLUE (thinking): His physical defense is amazing, but my energy orbs should KO him in one hit! Defense doesn�t affect them! Blue shot a few energy orbs at Bob, expecting them to KO him. However, Bob raised his right arm (which had an energy ball-firing gun on it) and the energy orbs made his suit glow, and powered it up. AXEM BLUE: What? But those energy orbs go through defense and do 100 damage every time! BOB: Not with Forgotten technology! Check out my energy blasts! He fired off his own energy orbs from his right arm gun. They flew incredibly fast, and Blue just barely managed to dodge the first 3 by rolling on the ground. He got hit by the next one, and lost 145 HP. Blue�s eyes widened in surprise. Bob stuck out his tongue, but Blue didn�t see it behind his helmet. Blue threw his axe at Bob with all his might. He also charged at the same time. Bob used his suit�s speed to dodge the axe and throw it away. He was hit by the Mega Kick that Blue performed. He lost only 25 HP. He grabbed Blue�s neck and lifted him off the ground. Blue started to choke and could not break the grip on his neck. His HP started to slip away. When he had only 400 HP there was a wave of black energy from the direction of Inferno�s post. It hit both of them. Blue lost 65 HP and Bob lost 40. Bob also dropped Blue from the shock. NOTE: The dark energy blast was from Takhisis�s attack. It did not do 100 damage because they were so far away. AXEM BLUE 335/800 BOB 35/100 AXEM BLUE: I do not know what that was, but it just sealed your doom. BOB: Uh�yeah. Blue picked up his axe and started trying to slash Bob with it. Bob fended off the attacks with his thick metal suit. Blue head-butted Bob in the face. The helmet he was wearing with his suit took the hit, and Blue became dazed. Bob grabbed Blue�s leg and started spinning. Blue�s upper body was lifting off the ground and he was spinning around Bob. Bob let go and Blue was flung at the Capitol Building. As Blue was flying towards the building, there was a loud explosion. The shockwave sent Axem Blue back at the Toad. When he landed, with a sickening crunch, he lost 257 HP. As Bob ran at him, Blue tried to stand up. As he gained his feet, his left leg gave out. He fell over and lay on the ground helplessly. Bob reached Blue and looked down at him. BOB: Well, I thought you would be a tougher enemy. I am disappointed. This was too easy, but I guess too easy is better than too hard. He aimed his right arm at Blue. The gun widened and started to glow yellow. Bob was charging it up for a killing blow. Blue used his good leg to kick Bob�s stomach. Bob just laughed at the feeble attempt to harm him. Blue then tripped Bob and rolled out of the way as he fell. The energy blast went flying into the sky. Blue grabbed Bob�s neck from behind. He tried to snap his neck, but the suit was too tough for that. Instead, he smashed the visor. Glass flew into Bob�s eyes. BOB: Ahhhhhhhh!!! Blue started pummeling Bob�s body with punches. Bob managed to get the piece of glass from his eye. He grabbed Blue and flung him off of himself. Bob had lost 15 HP. Blue didn�t lose any from the toss. AXEM BLUE 78/800 BOB 20/100 Bob stood up and taunted Blue some more. This time he stayed a safe distance away. BOB: I guess I was wrong�You aren�t quite as bad as I thought�You could almost beat a baby Philamgoran. He then jumped onto Blue�s stomach. Blue lost 50 HP. However, Blue was not about to give up when he was still conscious. He poked his fingers through the broken visor and got Bob in the eyes. Bob lost 10 HP and jerked away. The broken glass of the visor cut Blue�s hand and caused him to lose 10 HP as well. Bob staggered away to rub his eyes. He stopped seeing double and turned around. To his surprise, Blue was on his feet and only a few feet away. His face was contorted with pain. However, he kept on. He jumped up and did a Mega Kick. Bob�s eyes widened in disbelief. However, thanks to the incredible speed of the suit he was wearing, he dodged the kick. Blue landed on his feet and yelled out in pain. He collapsed to the ground and lost 15 HP from the pain of walking on a broken foot. Bob grinned and put his foot on Blue�s chest. BOB: Not bad�not bad at all. Almost as good as Axem Strife from Bob. Blue�s face showed confusion. BOB: Not me, the planet Bob. Jeez, get with the program. Oh wait, you can�t! As he said that he crashed his other foot down onto Blue�s head. Blue lost 20 HP and was KO�d. He stopped trying to squirm his way from under Bob�s foot. BOB: A pity that you weren�t smart enough to realize who you should have sided with. Suddenly, Bob heard a sound and spun around. BOB: Don�t worry, he wasn�t that tough� End of Episode 18 |
