| AXEM INFERNO 125/500 AXEM TAKHISIS 386/666 (watching only) BOB 95/100 BOB: Scared yet? AXEM INFERNO: Of you? Never! Inferno looked around at the battlefield. The sand was completing surrounding them, with only a small gap in the roof. The roof was at least 150 feet above them. There was no visible way to escape. AXEM INFERNO (thinking): Ive got to find a way to get away Bob fired a very quick energy blast from his suits right arm. He followed it with a slower, more powerful blast. Inferno couldnt dodge the first one and lost 75 HP. The second one was slower, so he hit it back at Bob. He also added a Fireball of his own. Bobs suit turned green and a shield emitted from it. When the energy blast hit it, it was absorbed into the suit. It gave Bob increased speed and power. The Fireball went straight through the shield and hit Bob. It caused 50 damage. NOTE: Bobs suit gives him higher defense. However, the fire resisting function must be activated to prevent all damage from fire attacks. AXEM INFERNO: Ha! My fire attacks can hurt you! BOB: Only when I dont have that particular function activated. AXEM INFERNO: So? They can still hurt you! Just then, Inferno got an idea. He turned into a fireball. This move is called Soul Burn. By sacrificing HP he can turn into a fireball and do double to quadruple damage to an enemy that he flies through. AXEM INFERNO (thinking): Im going to need some help to KO this guysBlue and Over Flame should be a start. AXEM TAKHISIS: What is he doing? BOB: I dont know NOTE: Takhisis never battled Inferno before, and Bob was KOd when Inferno used Soul Burn. Inferno flew towards Bob. He activated his fire resistant mode, and his suit turned reddish brown. This immobilized him while it was in effect. However, right before Inferno hit him, he turned. He slammed into the wall of sand. Bob couldnt stop him, as he was immobile. Takhisis didnt believe anything would be able to go through the barrier he had made. Unfortunately for him, fire goes through sand pretty easily. BOB: COWARD! Come back here and fight! ELAPSE TIME AND PLACE: The next day, on a volcanic island in the middle of the ocean: On the summit of the volcano there was a fiery Axem. He was warming himself with the lava. This was not Inferno; it was Axem Over Flame. Axem Over Flame looked like the average Axem, except on fire. He was the only inhabitant of the island. A figure stood up about halfway down the volcano. It ran with incredible speed. Over Flame was taken by surprise and it grabbed him from behind. Over Flames neck was surrounded. FIGURE: I believe Inferno is planning on coming here. When he gets here, you tell him that he cant get away from Axem Takhisis. The powers of magic are far superior to fire. Over Flame was confused. AXEM OVER FLAME: What do you mean Takhisis? There is no Axem TakhisisI just noticed something. If you think magic is so superior, than why do you have fiery arms? FIGURE: Because Im Inferno. Axem Over Flame pushed the arm off of his neck and turned around. The figure really was Axem Inferno. Over Flame grinned. AXEM OVER FLAME: Still playing the scientist? AXEM INFERNO: Archeologist. AXEM OVER FLAME: Whatever Are you still being a weakling? AXEM INFERNO: Just because I dont go around being a warrior and fighting for money doesnt mean Im a coward. AXEM OVER FLAME: How so? AXEM INFERNO: In the past three days Ive fought several battles, some against as many as 3 foes. AXEM OVER FLAME: You? Yeah right! This is just like your thing about that Axem Talkhis guy. AXEM INFERNO: Takhisis and hes real In no time Inferno was explaining everything to Over Flame. NOTE: Everything means the events of the past few days as well as the weeks preceding his journey. AXEM OVER FLAME: And why should I help you? AXEM INFERNO: Because youll get a chance to battle some very powerful foesand Im sure you would love the kind of adventure the Arch can offer. Over Flame stroked his chin thoughtfully. After a few seconds he decided what he was going to do. AXEM OVER FLAME: Ive never turned down a battle yet! I think we might need some more help. Of course, thats only if these guys are as tough as you make them seem. You could just be saying theyre all good, and they really suck; you just suck more. Inferno frowned. AXEM OVER FLAME: Blue? Inferno nodded. Over Flame took off running. Inferno followed him and they soon arrived at a little hut. Over Flame used the phone to call Blue. NOTE: It was a heatproof phone. After a few minutes of waiting a loud hum arose in the distance. A blade appeared on the horizon. In short order it landed and Axem Blue stepped out of a door in the side. Blue was exactly like Axem red, except his skin was blue. He appeared to be the average Axem. He walked over to the two fiery companions. After asking why Over Flame had been in such a hurry for him to arrive, and getting a rather long explanation from Inferno, he nodded. AXEM BLUE: ThisArch soundsintriguing. AXEM INFERNO: It is quite stimulating when you actually use it. Over Flame cleared his throat. AXEM OVER FLAME: Can we please see some action? Or are we going to be forced to listen to some dull, boring lecture? AXEM BLUE: We? We usually means more than one person. Over Flame rolled his eyes. AXEM OVER FLAME: My point exactly. AXEM INFERNO: We probably should get going. The three of them walked to the blade. A door slid open vertically. They were in the bridge. Blue walked over the controls. AXEM BLUE: So where should I set the course for? AXEM INFERNO: The Forgotten ruins. AXEM BLUE: If they are forgotten, than how can anyone know where they are? AXEM INFERNO: Forgotten is capitalized, as in the race known as the Forgotten. Just go to Bone Dry Ruins. AXEM BLUE: I do not know where Bone Dry Ruins is, but how is Bone Dry Desert? AXEM INFERNO: That will be close enoughonce there I can direct you to the ruins. The blade lifted off and flew east. ELAPSE PLACE: At Bone Dry Ruins: The entire archeology camp wasnot an archeology camp anymore. It appeared to be more of a military camp than anything else. There were Toads everywhere, and they all looked like soldiers. The camp consisted of several tents and weapon devices. In the inside of a large tent in the center of the camp a voice screamed. It was the voice of Kolorado. He was crying out in pain. He was tied to a pole in the center of the tent. KOLORADO: Please! On my starsplease! Stop! Ill tell you anything! The other figure in the room smiled and drew back the cattle prod like device. It was one of a Koopas worst fears: electricity. NOTE: The figure will be referred to as torturer. TORTURER: Ok that is a good attitude. Who is this planets king and where does he live? KOLORADO: We dont have a king of the planet. Torturer shocked him with the electric device. Kolorado screamed. When he stopped (and the torturer took the device off his skin) he explained about Earths many nations. TORTURER: Unusual. This will make it harder for my masters to take power. Killing off one leader would be much easierWhich leader holds the most power? Kolorado stuck out his tongue at torturer. That was a big mistake. The cattle prod poked him again. Very quickly he gave him all the leaders that held the most power. TORTURER: Thats much better. Goodbye. The torturer walked out of the tent. He walked to some of the other officers and told them what he had learned. While they were surprised to learn there was more than one ruler, they werent worried. One of them used a communication device to tell Bob the information. NOTE: One of Bobs suits functions is a radio transmitter. Suddenly a hum arose in the west. End of Episode 14 |
