| On the last episode, the final battle of the tournament between Axem Illusion and Axem Moonlight kicked off, and both fighters held nothing back, using their abilities to their full extent! Now, due to Illusion�s Curse attack, Moonlight must KO Illusion for a possible stalemate, and what better way than a gigantic Lunar Ray. As the attack slowly approaches, will Illusion be able to avoid the unavoidable? -------------------------------------------------- MOONLIGHT: This is it! Moonlight unleashes her Lunar Ray attack. A gigantic ray of gray light explodes from Moonlight�s mouth. There is no possible way for Illusion to dodge this attack. ILLUSION: ? Illusion turns around to see the ray coming right toward him. ILLUSION: This can�t be happening! NOOO! The flash completely engulfs Illusion. MOONLIGHT: Direct hit! Huh? The attack passes by Illusion, as he stands unharmed with his Mind Barrier up. MOONLIGHT: (thinking) No way! My attack didn�t even singe him! But since I just attacked� ILLUSION: Moonlight, your attack has failed! You know what this means. The effects of Curse go into play and sap the rest of Moonlight�s HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 90/650 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 0/650 Moonlight falls to the ground, KO�d. Jamey stands completely still with his jaw dropping farther by the second. JAMEY: The battle is over! Axem Illusion is this season�s King of Duelists! AUDIENCE: Yay. Illusion stands at rest, stunned by his victory. ILLUSION: (thinking) I actually did it. I am finally the King of Duelists! Jamey throws a Life Shroom over Moonlight to restore her. AXEM MOONLIGHT: 10/650 MOONLIGHT: Son of a monkey� JAMEY: Too bad Moonlight. You put up a magnificent fight, though. Now go take a hike. Moonlight walks back to the Contestant�s Building. JAMEY: All right, Illusion. Fast will be here any se- Fast zips in. EVERYONE: WHOA! FAST: Axem Fast is here to present you with your prize. He hands over a box the size you find wedding rings in. FAST: Axem Fast suggests you show it off in the Contestant�s Building. ILLUSION: All right, I will. Thank you. Illusion walks back to the Contestant�s Building. FAST: Axem Fast desires popcorn! Fast zips off to a concession stand. -------------------------------------------------- Moonlight enters the Contestant�s Building and immediately hits the Heart Block. AXEM MOONLIGHT: 650/650 MOONLIGHT: Ah, sweet relief� MAGNUM: Illusion better enjoy his short amount of publicity. I�ll make it my duty to wipe the arena floor with him first. STRIFE: And it will be mine with you. SNOW: Hey! What about me� JK ACID: Yeah, what about you? A ACID: �I guess now IS the time to be picking fights. Right before the Battle Royal. ELITE: But still, must we go through this after EVERY fight? JKI: I guess its tradition. You can�t really break that�with the exception of Fiddler on the Roof. COBALT: But who should be my target in this� She looks at Moonlight. COBALT: Bingo. MIDNIGHT BLUE: And to think, I have nothing to say about any of this. Illusion walks in. Immediate, everyone crowds around him. COBALT: So, whatcha get? Money? Food? I hope its food! Illusion holds up the small box he got. ILLUSION: I have no idea. I�ll just open it and find out. Illusion opens the lid to find a silver necklace with a crystal jewel attached to it. EVERYONE: What�s with the pendant� Illusion takes a note out of the box. ILLUSION: �Axem Fast says, �This is a special pendant called the Lunar Pendant, containing a fragment of the moon. It shields people from the strongest of energy attacks. All you have to do is put it on.� Well, what do I have to lose? He puts on the pendant and faces JKI. ILLUSION: JKI, help me test this thing out. Hit me with your Eye Lasers. JKI: My pleasure! JKI shoots his Eye Lasers at Illusion. He loses 40 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 50/650 MIDNIGHT BLUE: What do you know? That crazy thing reduced the damage you took by 10. He turns his back on everyone. MIDNIGHT BLUE: (thinking) Just knock him down and take the jewelry� JK ACID: Isn�t it a bit obvious that he�s scheming something� TETRA: Let�s deal with it AFTER the Battle Royal. Come on, let�s go reintroduce ourselves to the audience. They all walk to the arena. -------------------------------------------------- Back at the arena� Jamey clears his throat to get the audience�s attention. AUDIENCE: You know, there�s medicine out that can clear that up. JAMEY: Whatever. Pretty soon, we will be starting our Battle Royal! It will be a free-for-all melee with our beloved 12 fighters, giving them a chance for one thing. Revenge. AUDIENCE: Yay. JAMEY: Of course, they could just be doing this for an extra shot at a prize, but I think revenge sounds better. Our twelve fighters begin slowly approaching the arena. JAMEY: We will be positioning all the fighters on the outside of our arena except Illusion. He�ll be in the middle. Illusion gulps nervously. They begin spacing out around the perimeter of the levitating platform. Illusion takes his spot in the middle. JAMEY: Looks good! That means it�s time to start the Battle Royal. Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The Battle Royal begins. (Oh man, time to keep track of 12 people at once) AXEM ILLUSION: 650/650 AXEM ELITE: 700/700 JK ACID: 300/300 AXEM ACID: 350/350 BOB-OMB TETRA: 550/550 AXEM STRIFE: 500/500 AXEM SNOW: 600/600 AXEM MAGNUM: 700/700 JKI: 700/700 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1600/1600 AXEM COBALT: 710/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 650/650 Elite, JK Acid, Magnum and Moonlight charge in at Illusion. Illusion jumps up and begins flapping his wings to fly. He fires a Lightning Bolt down from the sky to hit them all. JK Acid and Moonlight jump out of the way, but Elite and Magnum get caught by the attack. Elite loses 100 HP. Magnum loses 200 HP. AXEM ELITE: 600/700 AXEM MAGNUM: 500/700 MAGNUM: ILLUSION! I�ve come too far to be beaten again! ILLUSION: (thinking) Man, angry already. Not good. Magnum fires 3 Mortar Shells at Illusion. Illusion floats to the side to dodge them. SNOW: I have an idea! How about everyone against Illusion!? EVERYONE except ILLUSION: Yeah! ILLUSION: No! TETRA: Reminds me of the game Duck Hunt� Midnight Blue throws a pair of Dark Spheres. Magnum shoots a Bullet. Elite shoots three Elite Lasers. JKI shoots his Indigo Beam. Illusion tries hard to dodge their combined attacks. He manages to dodge everything but a Dark Sphere and an Indigo Beam. Due to his newly increased Magic Defense, Illusion loses only 180 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 470/650 STRIFE: (thinking) An opening� Strife zips around attacking random people on the ground. He ends up slashing Magnum, JKI, and A Acid. Magnum loses 15 HP. JKI loses 50 HP. A Acid loses 70 HP. A ACID: 280/350 AXEM MAGNUM: 485/700 JKI: 650/700 MAGNUM and JKI: HEY! A ACID: Taste Acid! With those words, A Acid activates his Acid Axe, increasing his attack power to a still pitiful 30. He jumps forward towards Strife for a full on slash. Strife zips out of the way and slashes Cobalt instead. Cobalt loses 30 HP. AXEM COBALT: 680/710 COBALT: HEY! What was that for! A ACID: Well, this is still a Battle Royal. You should�ve been on your guard. As we look back at Strife, he begins running around everyone slashing randomly again. This time, he nails Midnight Blue and JK Acid twice. Midnight Blue loses 50 HP. JK Acid loses 140 HP. JK ACID: 160/300 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1550/1600 JK ACID: Jerk. Wait �til he- As Strife was running around some more, he ran into one of JK Acid�s Acid Bowl Traps. Toxic waste spews over him, causing him to take 75 damage. STRIFE: Blast it! Foiled again! AXEM STRIFE: 425/500 ILLUSION: Hey, what about me� MAGNUM: Oh, right. My main kill! I�ll be sure to finish you off as qui- Just then, a sea of Dark Spheres engulfs Illusion from his left. ILLUSION: No! Not the Midnight Blue Whirl! Illusion tries to put up his Mind Barrier, but is too late. He takes 9989 damage. AXEM ILLUSION: 0/650 Illusion drops down from the sky and lands on the arena with a loud thud. JAMEY: Oh! Our Champion has actually been eliminated! Jamey throws a Life Shroom above Illusion. It restores 10 HP, enough for Illusion to stand. JAMEY: Too bad, Illusion. You�re the weakest one. Goodbye! Illusion walks back to the Contestant�s Building. JAMEY: Resume! MAGNUM: That does it! You can tip me over, call me metal head, but you�re not going to steal my prey! MIDNIGHT BLUE: It seems we�ll be preying on each other now, so that won�t be a problem! They growl at each other. TETRA: Heads up! They are both pummeled by three Water Spheres. They both lose 150 HP. MAGNUM and MIDNIGHT BLUE: Hmm� Magnum launches a Fire Bullet at Tetra. Midnight Blue throws a Dark Sphere. Their attacks hit Tetra and he loses 250 HP. MAGNUM: Now where were we� -------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Moonlight and Snow face each other. Snow makes the first move and blows a Wind Chill. Moonlight flips to the side and comes up to slash Snow. She manages to land two blows. Snow loses 80 HP. AXEM SNOW: 520/600 Snow comes back with a powerful Blizzard attack. Moonlight loses 200 HP. AXEM MOONLIGHT: 450/650 Moonlight jumps back and shoots her group of Moonfire Orbs. Snow jumps over them and they crash into JKI and Elite�s fight instead. JKI: 520/700 AXEM ELITE: 240/700 NOTE: Their HP is after the two have battle for a while. Two of the orbs slam into Elite. The last one hits JKI JKI loses 80 HP. Elite loses 160 HP. JKI: 440/700 AXEM ELITE: 80/700 JKI: Geez! Who�s attacking this time! ELITE: I don�t know, but those attacks were Moonfire Orbs! The two look over at Moonlight, who�s whistling innocently. ELITE: Moonlight! MOONLIGHT: (innocently) What? ELITE: We both know tha- Elite is hit down by one of JKI�s Magic Spheres. Elite loses the rest of his HP. AXEM ELITE: 0/700 JKI: Alright! Thanks, Moonlight! Jamey throws a Life Shroom to restore Elite and signals him back to the Contestant�s Building. A blue fog descends on JKI and Moonlight. MOONLIGHT: Is this what I think it is� They are instantly paralyzed by the mist. JKI and MOONLIGHT: (thinking) COBALT! Cobalt charges in and performs and Axe Tornado on both of them. JKI loses 150 HP. Moonlight loses 180 HP. JKI: 290/700 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 270/700 Cobalt runs off in a panic. Just then, a Light Orb from Tetra hits Cobalt. She loses 100 HP. AXEM COBALT: 580/710 Cobalt looks on at the fight where it came from, with Tetra and Snow. BOB-OMB TETRA: 120/550 AXEM SNOW: 260/600 COBALT: Jerks. Snow throws a Snowcicle at Tetra. Tetra jumps to the side and shoots a Fireball. Snow tries to jump to avoid it, but soon learns that the attack is like a homing missile. The fireball hits Snow and he loses 100 HP. AXEM SNOW: 160/600 Tetra launches two water fists at Snow for his Hydraulics attack. SNOW: (thinking) Is this some sort of trick, or did he forget I can�t be hurt by water. Ah well, I�ll just beat him now. Snow powers up and releases his Blizzard attack, freezing Tetra�s attack. Some of it also approaches Tetra. TETRA: Uh oh. Tetra tries to jump out of the way, but his body has become numb. TETRA: (thinking) Do�h! Freeze Frame! He can only stand still and take the full on force of the attack. Tetra loses the rest of his HP. BOB-OMB TETRA: 0/550 Snow tosses him out of the ring. Soon after, the KO�ed Cobalt and JKI are dropped on Tetra. JAMEY: And this leaves seven fighters remaining! Snow is then hit by an incoming Fire Bullet from Magnum and he loses the rest of his HP. AXEM SNOW: 0/600 JAMEY: Um, now it�s six. NOTE: A lot of fighting takes place at once, not just the one fight that is focused on (Or in other words, an intricate way of cutting corners :) ) JK ACID: 60/300 AXEM ACID: 100/350 AXEM STRIFE: 250/500 AXEM MAGNUM: 135/700 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 350/1600 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 170/650 -------------------------------------------------- We focus on Magnum and Midnight Blue�s fight again. As you can see, both of them have already taken substantial damage. MIDNIGHT BLUE: How was I able to lose 1050 HP while you only lost 200? MAGNUM: I�m not sure. The only thing I am sure of is that I�m going to win. MIDNIGHT BLUE: You talk too much, Magnum. MAGNUM: (thinking) And because he can barely add fractions, he doesn�t know he�s contradicting himself. Magnum spits out a group of three Bob-ombs. They immediately start charging toward Midnight Blue. Midnight Blue destroys them all with 3 Dark Spheres. Magnum quickly shoots a Mortar Shell out of his mouth as Midnight Blue is in midair so he can�t dodge it. He takes the impact of the attack and loses 200 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 150/1600 Just then, Strife comes in and uses his Flash Attack, blinding both Magnum and Midnight Blue. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Son of a Namek! What in the-AHH! Strife uses the temporary blinding effect to slash Midnight Blue enough to take is HP down to zero. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 0/1600 Strife throws Midnight Blue out of the ring while he�s KO�ed. MAGNUM: You lousy thief! How dare you take my target that took down my other target! STRIFE: Um...*shrugs* MAGNUM: Alright! You and me, one on- Strife leaves. MAGNUM: HEY! -------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, JK Acid and A Acid have their rematch. JK ACID: 30/300 AXEM ACID: 70/350 JK ACID: If another one of your attacks hit me, you�ll win� A ACID: Yup� He charges in with his axe raised. JK Acid makes a smokescreen of non-damaging air pollution. AUDIENCE: That�s quite the sentence� A Acid is trapped inside, waiting for JK Acid to make the first move. MOONLIGHT: Uh oh�watch out! A ACID: ? Because he can�t see it coming, A Acid gets hit by an incoming Lunar Ray. AXEM ACID: 0/350 He slowly oozes himself off the arena. JK ACID: Aw, man. Looks like I�ll have to kill you. He takes off his shell and uses his unavoidable Atomic Poison on Moonlight. A constant rain of sludge falls down on her, slowly chipping away her HP. AXEM MOONLIGHT: 90/650 MOONLIGHT: (thinking) Arg! I gotta get out of here! Moonlight tries to run away from the attack, but the attack seems to follow her. JK ACID: I don�t think you can avoid unavoidable attacks, Moonlight. AXEM MOONLIGHT: 20/650 MOONLIGHT: Fine! If I go down I�m taking you with me! She uses her last move to hit JK Acid with a Lunar Ray, thus knocking them both out. JK ACID: 0/300 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 0/650 A few security guards drag their bodies into the Contestant�s Building. JAMEY: Now only two fighters remain! Who will win, Axem Strife or Axem Magnum? AUDIENCE: Well why are you asking us? We know about as much as you do! AXEM STRIFE: 175/500 AXEM MAGNUM: 135/700 Who will win? Will it be the speed demon Strife or the assault tank Magnum?
