Sub Quests
1. Crono's Rebirth

Once you defeat or join Magus, you are able to do this Sub Quest.  Travel in the Epoch to the End of Time and talk to the Old Man.  Once he is done talking, you will learn that he is actually the Guru Gaspar, that disappeared from Zeal.  He will also give you a Chrono Trigger, which will help you get back Crono.  I usually take a team of Marle, Frog, and Ayla for this mission.  If you got a Crono clone at the beginning of the game like I mentioned in the walkthrough, go get it at Crono's Room, where Crono's Mom misses him.  Once you have the clone, go back to 2300 AD to where the Black Omen stands.  Go inside the Dome near it (not the Sewers) and open the sealed door in the back.  Go to the Monster thingy in the back which is supposed to be another Guru that knows how to bring people back to life.  He will send three Poyozo dolls out and send them to Death Peak, which is your Goal to reviving Crono.  Listen to what the dolls say, because without their guidance, you will never learn how to reach the summit.  Hide behind trees, defeat Lavos spawns by only attacking the face and having Frog use Heal until they die, and be sure to not fall off any cliffs, and push shells and crap to reach the summit.  At he summit, Marle will give you an extra scene where she holds up the egg and...I won't spoil anything.  Anyway, all you have to do is when you find dead Crono is you press A on him, watch the scene and you got Crono back!

2. The True Form of the Masamune

At the time where you get Crono back, the Masamune isn't the most powerful blade anymore.  You shouldn't replace it with any other blade though, because it's still good with the Hero Medal.  Anyway, in 600 AD, in a town east of Porre (and is overseas), a man in the Cafe has lost his tools.  Travel back to 1000 AD and talk to the look alike of him and he will let you borrow his tools, just you got to go to his house.  Go to his house and talk to his wife to receive 1 Tools.  Now warp to 600 AD again.  Give the guy that is missing tools the ones you borrowed.  Go to the ruins in the North and go inside.  He will say there are monsters inside.  Clean out the right side of the place of monsters (Be sure to kill everything) and then report back to the guy at his house in 600 AD.  He will repair the ruins that you got rid of monsters for a profitable price.  Next, clean out the left side.  This side is harder, so you should always have Crono using Luminare to kill.  Once you make it through, report to the guy again and pay him the cash.  Now go to the way end of the left side and read the grave.  Have Frog with you.  He will then use the Masamune to talk to Cyrus, his friend that died by an attack from Magus.  Again, I won't spoil anything, but it is pretty funny when Masa and Mune speak.

3. Fiona, Robo, and Lucca's Desire

First, travel back to the Dark Ages and talk to the woman of Zeal in the Commons that is next to a seed.  Tell her to plant the seed with hope, and leave.  Now, travel back to 600 AD near Fiona's Villa (it's in between Dorino and Porre).  There should be a Whirlpool of sand.  Ignore it for now, and pick up the treasure in Fiona's Villa.  Now have a team of at least one person that can use water attacks and a strong person that can use powerful physical attacks.  I usually bring a team of Magus, Frog, and Ayla.  Go inside the whirlpool of sand and then walk right into the one in the middle of the screen.  Kill everything you see and make it to the southern part while in the second room.  There is a boss in the next room, and it's name is Retinite.  Use water attacks to weaken the defenses, or else you won't be able to hit more than 30 HP.  Don't use magic on this guy, but be sure to use Frog's Heal when your party's HP becomes low and Ayla's Kiss when you have a bad status effect.  Once Retinite is killed, be sure to take all the treasure in the room, because some of the stuff is pretty useful or can be sold for a lot of cash.  Now put Robo in your party and head back to Fiona's Villa.  Talk to Fiona and let Robo stay with Fiona.  Now go inside the Epoch and travel to 1000 AD.  All the trees should have grown and there is a large shrine.  Save and enter the shrine.  Talk to one of the women because she sells the Vigil hat, which you should buy 3 of.  In the farthest part of the shrine, you can find Robo, who badly needs repairs.  The scene will now be where you guys are talking in the woods and Robo comes up with theories.  When everyone is asleep, Lucca wakes up and you can control her.  Go to the right and you will find a gate, which takes Lucca back to her house.  Get out of her room and down the stairs and into the south door, you will see Lucca and her mother.  Her mother will be caught in Taban's new device, and you can save her when you can move.  Press A on the blinking blue light.  To stop the machine, press in L A R A.  Be sure to type the next letter when you hear that the last has been confirmed.  The machine will stop, and you will end up in Lucca's room.  Go through the gate, and talk to Robo.  He will give you the Green Dream and you are now able to see Lucca's mom walk when you talk to her in 1000 AD.  The Green Dream let's you relive a life when you are knocked out in battle.

4. The Fugitive Ozzie

Talk to Magus at the End of Time to learn where Ozzie's place is, and travel back to 600 AD to get there.  Bring Magus in this Subquest for extra scenes.  Enter Ozzie's place and keep fighting your way toward Ozzie, through Slash and Flea, but they haven't been training.  Once you reach the part where Ozzie has an anchor over a treasure chest, screw it and go to the right of it, and then when you walk into a wall, go down to reach three other treasures, which are Magus' best stuff.  Go near Ozzie and a stupid monster will fall for Ozzie's trap instead, so Ozzie runs away and you can take the Mid Ether inside the chest.  Now, switch your party to Crono, Frog, and Ayla for the next big battle.  You will have to fight Ozzie, Slash, and Flea all together, and they have a mean counter attack if you hit Ozzie or all of them at the same time that reduces a lot of HP.  Be sure to use Ayla's Charm on Slash and Flea, for they carry some good items.  Also make sure you hit either Slash or Flea only, because they have a weaker counter attack.  When one of the three dies, the fight is easier and you are able to kill them all at once.  Ozzie then runs away into the next room.  Chase after him, and he will turn himself into an ice cube like before.  Hit the switch behind him, and you will fall through the floor as a trick.  Go back to where he is, fight him again, and this time, you will see a pathetic scene where a cat kills Ozzie once and for all.

5. Robo's Factory

Talk to Robo at the End of Time to locate the Factory where Robo was created.  Go to the island southeast of the Arris Dome (A screenshot of the factory is seen below).  Your goal is to get to the heart of the factory and destroy the Mother CPU who has been corrupting other humanoids such as Robo.  I can't lay out the factory, but I can lay out some key points.  (Keep Robo as your front party member while inside the factory).
  1.  Once past the first conveyor belt, defeat a few robots blocking an information computer.  Don't really give a crud about that, but hit the switch next to it to open a "chamber."
  2.  Find a room in the same area as the information computer that has a red glowing floor.  Go across it shut off what I think is a conveyor belt laser.
  3.  Look to the left of the door you went through earlier in 2 and find a switch to change the direction of the main coveyor belt.  Hit it!
  4.  Remember the "chamber" you opened in 1?  Walk through the door to the left of it.  Enter the switch passcode in the screenshot below to open a chamber.  Step inside the first "chamber" to electrify Robo.  While electrified, have Robo step inside the newly opened chamber to open a new door.  Step inside and grab a Poyozo Doll.
  5.  Use the first Chamber again, this time to run down, to the right, up, left, up the conveyor belt (You should have already hit the switch to change the direction) and step inside a nearby energy receiving chamber like you say in 4.  Go through the newly opened door to find a Robot!  Guide the Robot down the conveyor belt and into a similar looking Robot guarding a Poyozo Doll.  Once the two collide, you can grab the Poyozo!
  6.  With the two dolls, walk around until you find a Save Point.  Save and Heal Robo.  Walk down and to the left to fight a pink Robo!  In this battle, use Robo Tackles as your main attacks and Cure Beams when you're low on HP (And be sure to keep your HP high in this battle.  Your enemy has a massive attack that she'll use every now and then!).  Once you're down with that, Robo's Speed and Magic Defense will be powered up by a leftover Ribbon.
  7.  Walk to the left and through the directed path to find a place to put the Poyozos.  Put them on the green platforms to open the door to the Mother CPU.  When fighting her, be sure to destroy ONLY two of the background screens:  No more, no less.  If you destroy them all, they will all regenerate immediately, making your effort a waste!  Once two are knocked down, use attacks that target only the Mother CPU (I like Crono's Confuse and Magus' Dark Bomb) until she's knocked down.  Robo should do any healing with his Heal Beam.  Once you're done, you'll receive the Terra and Crisis Arms!

6.  The Stones of the Moon and Sun

If you already talked to Ayla and Lucca at the End of Time, you should know at Ioka Village now has a new defensive weapon to trade for at the Ioka Trading Hut (Next to the Ayla's).  Get as many Ruby Armors as you want, and equip one for every person in your party, since they reduce fire attacks dramatically.  No go to 2300 AD and look for the Sun Palace (It's a small island with a cave).  Save and go inside.  Run into the what looks like a Tab and the Son of Sun will appear.  There is only one way to kill it, and it is to hit a certain flame.  Each time you hit the right flame surrounding the guy, he will take about 200 damage.  Don't try using and techs that hit everything in this battle like Luminare because you will still miss.  Later on, he will start using fire attacks, and if you have the ruby armors equipped, you shouldn't take more than 50 damage.  After a few blows, the Son of Sun will start to lose it's fire, which makes it vulnerable to everything.  Once dead, follow it and it will become the Moon Stone.  Now travel to 65,000,000 BC and place the Moon Stone in the Sun Keep (Kinda northeast of Ioka).  Go to 600 AD's Sun Keep and collect the tab near the Moon Stone, which is still radiating energy.  Now go to 1000 AD's Sun Keep and learn that the Moon Stone has been stolen.  Go to the village of Porre and look for the house with sparkles coming out of the roof.  Talk to the man in there and he will tell you that he doesn't know anything about the Moon Stone.  If you talked to everyone in the house, will learn that this guy is lying.  Now go to the Snail Stop or something like that and talk to the Bartender.  Buy his expensive Jerky and go to Porre in 600 AD.  Go to that same house that the man was in and give (not sell) the woman inside the Jerky you bought.  She will say her descendants will be generous from now on.  Now go to the sparkling house in 1000 AD and talk to the man.  Because you changed time, the man will now be generous and not greedy and give you the Moon Stone.  Put the Moon Stone back in the Sun Keep and travel to 2300 AD.  Have Lucca in your party for this.  Go inside and take the Sun Stone.  Lucca says she can make something out of it, and she will take you back to her house.  Lucca will then get the Wondershot, her most powerful weapon and her father will walk in and give her the Sun Shades.  The Wondershot and the Sun Shades are a good combo.  If you are wondering, the Epoch in parked outside.

7.  The Rainbow Shell

I usually take Crono, Frog, and Magus on this one.  In 600 AD, go to the town that is east of Porre (mentioned in Subquest 2) to find Toma.  Talk to him and say that you will hold his soda.  He will add that if he doesn't live, pour this soda on his grave.  Go to 1000 AD on this same island and to West Cape.  Press A on Toma's grave and Toma will appear and say he knows where the Rainbow Shell is.  It's on Giant's Claw in 600 AD, which doesn't exist in 1000 AD.  Go back to 600 AD and enter Giant's Claw.  In here, walk a bit and find this is the Tyrano Lair, just you have to go through the whole frickin' thing once again.  Just keep going through the Tyrano Lair (you should know how to get through this place.  You did this back in 65,000,000 when Lavos fell) to fight a huge dinosaur.  I use Crono's Luminare and Magus' Dark Matter, and Frog's Heal when needed.  Once dead, go past it and find the Rainbow Shell.  It is too heavy for you to carry, so walk away and the scene will automatically change to you in Guardia Castle.  King Guardia will take the Rainbow Shell and keep it for a few years.  Get back in the Epoch and take Marle with you.  Enter Guardia Castle in 1000 AD to find that the old geezer who tried to get you in jail wants Marle to talk to her father.  Hell breaks out and Marle yells at him.  Leave the castle then enter again.  If you talk to everybody, they will say King Guardia is on trial.  Go to the trial room (it is on the top floor of the right staircase when you enter) and Marle will make the guards move it.  You see the Chancellor is trying to de-throne King Guardia by accusing him of selling the Rainbow Shell.  Marle will get kicked out of the courtroom and remember that the do hicky should be in the Treasure Vault, which is in the basement.  Go down to the Basement (the guard has been bitten by a rat) and go through a storm of monsters.  Every now and then you will go back to the courtroom and find that King Guardia is losing.  When you reach the Rainbow Shell, Marle will take a piece of it and have it as evidence that her father still has the shell.  Go back to the guards near the courtroom and talk to them.  King Guardia by now has lost the trial, but then Marle shows the evidence.  The geezer will then show his true form as Yakra's descendent (you know Yakra.  He's the guy who kidnapped Queen Leene early in the game) and you have to fight him.  When he dies, there will be some emotional talk and King Guardia will let you leave.  Melchior then walks in and says he will make stuff out of the shell.  Go to the Treasure Vault and he will let you decide which he will make:  3 Prisim Helmets or 1 Prisim Dress.  The Prisim Helmets are the best helmets in the game, while the Prisim Dress is also very powerful.  I usually take the helmets.  After placing your order, Melchior will give you it, with the addition of the Rainbow, Crono's most powerful sword.  If you have the Sun Stone, Melchior will also make Lucca's best accessory, the Sun Shades.
