Stage one: Wow! The first stage...
Shard one: After going across a river, there should be a platform with a checkerboard pattern (Blue and White). Just a bit after it lies the first shard (very easy to see).
Shard two: After defeating a large, black creature in the hut, keep walking forward until you see a little guy throwing bombs. Swallow him and copy his Bomb ability. Soon after, you'll reach a river with a mound of black stone. Chuck a Bomb at it and collect the Shard underneath it.
Shard three: Battle Waddle Dee for a shard. You should go in with a power combo. If you don't have one, simply suck up the stars he throws at you and spit them right back at him.
Stage two: Bring any Power Combo you like, or pick one up in this area.
Shard one: When you find Waddle Dee, get on his wooden trolley and collect stars as you go. When you see a line of stars leading down, jump off and grab the shard, then quickly puff back up to trolley.
Shard two: After getting the first shard, go into the tree to fight an oversized Bouncy. Use a power combo, but if you don't have one, suck up the smaller Bouncies and spit them at the big one. Once you kill him, grab the shard.
Shard three: Win a shard from Adeliene by defeating her. Suck up her paintings she launches at you then attack her work, or use any Power Mix you may have. After all the paintings are killed, she'll rather stupidly try to take you down herself. Use your Power Mix you might have or slide kick her by pressing Down+A.
Stage three: Come unarmed.
Shard one: Mix two Cutter powers from the boomberang guys (called Sirkibbles) to make a giant boomerang. Keep that power until you find a solid green platform with a Shard underneath. Use the giant boomerang to break the platform. Simply collect the shard after that.
Shard two: After you pass your artist friend who gives you a 1-Up (or Max Tomato if you're low in health), you'll see a staircase. Don't go up it yet: Instead, go backwards while puffing up to see an easy shard. (You may want to grab a Fire-Cutter Combo after this)
Shard three: Fight King Dedede with either a Power Mix or spitting back what he leaves behind. It's as simple as that, but because of his evasiveness, he's a hard target to hit sometimes.
Boss: Whispy Woods
To win: Use the Fire-Cutter combo you hopefully picked up and attack the Whispy Woods Jrs. If you didn't come with the Fire Sword, then suck up and spit the apples that Whispy convenient leaves behind. After the Jrs. are eliminated, Whispy will become furious and start shooting his roots out of the ground. While the roots are visible, hit them with whatever you've got. He'll then try and pummel you with apples, which could be used as ammo. The cycle will then repeat until the end. Beat him and grab your ticket to Rock Star.
