“Can you believe it?” Peyton said, as they looked at the music hall for that night’s venue. It could hold only about 50 to 75 people, but it was exactly what the guys wanted.

“We’re halfway through a tour.” Katie replied. “I never though I would say that again.”

“The guys are just so blown away.” Elisabeth said, as she walked over to the girls with Isabella in her arms.

“Denise, Paul and some guy with record label are already talking about a nationwide tour. Take a few months off, make a new CD, and then tour to promote it.” Katie said, as Isabella motioned for Katie to take her. Katie accepted her, smiling at Isabella. She was wearing a shirt that said “Daddy’s #1 fan” that Peyton and Elisabeth had specifically picked out for her.

“So what do you girls think?” Joe asked as he, Kevin, and Nick walked over.

“Awesome.” Elisabeth said, as the three girls smiled.

“We were going to hang out in one of the offices. They’ve got it set up to be our green room, complete with a swing for Isabella Bumble Bee.” Kevin said.

“There should be water, Diet Dr. Pepper, and your candy stash. There is also a proposed schedule for the next few months, including plans for recording your new album.” Katie said.

“She never left tour mode, did she?” Nick joked.

“She’s even broken out the walkie-talkies.” Peyton added.

“Hey! I kept Frankie in line many a nights with that walkie.” Katie pointed.

“Are we crazy for doing this?” Joe asked, looking around the hall. “Are we crazy for trying again?”

“No.” All three girls said simultaneously.

“You’re just living the dream.” Elisabeth said,

There were honestly 80 people stuffed in. The crowd was clapping with the music, swaying to the beat, just enjoying the show.

The guys couldn’t stop smiling. They loved the excitement and the cheers. Kevin still spun around in circles with his guitar. Nick still slid across the stage. And Joe, he still acted like himself. He danced, threw around his microphone stand, and bounced around the stage like a kangaroo.

“Those guys still have it.” Elisabeth said over her walkie.

“The crowd loves them.” Peyton added.

“We sold out this show. We’re at capacity.” Katie said, walking away from the side of the stage. “I think we might even be technically over capacity.”

“The next night has already sold out.” Peyton added.

“Peyton the number cruncher.” Elisabeth joked.

            “Very funny.” Peyton replied.

“I want to dedicate this next song to very special girls, they know who they are. We’re going to get a little romantic on ya.” Kevin said, as the beginning chords of ‘Hello, Beautiful’ started.

Katie hadn’t sat down on the entire concert. All the girls around her had been screaming, and the screams had added to the energy.

“We’re going to get a little romantic on ya.” Kevin said into his microphone before he switched to an acoustic guitar.

Nick started the song, as Kevin joined in. “Hello beautiful, how’s it going.” Nick sang. Peyton started to softly singing along, surprising Katie. She knew Peyton’s little sister listened and loved the band, but she hadn’t known that Peyton herself had listened.

Katie watched Kevin concentrate on the song. He knew the song, he knew the chords. But, his gaze kept moving from the guitar to the crowd.

She noticed him look in the crowd’s direction and smile. He looked happy. He looked pleased that everything was going good. The smile on his face just made Kevin look so… perfect.

Katie felt a smile slowly crawl across her face as she watched Kevin. She wasn’t fully paying attention to the other two guys. There was something about the oldest Jonas.

Kevin caught her gaze, and Katie noticed him smile again. At the moment Kevin smiled, Nick started on the second verse. “Hello beautiful, it’s been a long time.”

Katie felt chills slowly crawl down her back. His hazel eyes were sparkling with just a hint of mischief. She forced herself to look away. She had to stare at something else. She couldn’t keep watching him.

She turned and looked at her best friend, trying to regain some composure. And when she did, she turned her attention back to the stage. Her eyes automatically dragged her attention back to the man who kissed her the night before. “I’m screwed.” Katie whispered.
