Chapter 14

"Okay, Jules is so going to kill me for this." Allie said as she and Aaron paced the hotel lobby. Or more precisely, Allie paced and Aaron sat in a nearby chair reading whatever magazine he could find.
"If it's her fiancée, don't you think she'd be okay with it?" Aaron asked, as Allie stopped pacing.
"She'll be majorly excited to see him. But, she'll be upset that I didn't tell her." Allie explained, sitting down on the chair's arm.
"But, it's supposed to be a surprise. What fun is it if she knows what's happening?" Aaron asked, smiling up at Allie.
"Jules and I have always told each other everything. All our lives, we've told each other every little tid-bit." Allie said.
    "Like our kiss?" Aaron asked.
"Actually, I haven't told her about that. I did tell her that I really liked you." Allie said.
"That works out well cause I really like you too." Aaron said.
"Aaron Wells, you flatter me." Allie said, faking a Southern Belle accent.
"Allie?" She heard a voice ask, as she turned and looked over her shoulder.
"Over here Nate." She said, motioning to where she and Aaron were sitting.
A tall man came and walked over to them. He had brown wavy hair that was cut close to his head, allowing the top to be wavier. Allie had described him as kinda goofy looking, but went on to explain that was part of his charm.
"What am I suppose to do with my bags?" Nate Miller asked.
"Aaron will help you take them up. I have to make sure and stall Jules." Allie explained.
"Do I get a say?" Aaron asked.
"It's building upper body muscles." Allie said, smiling at Aaron.
"I think it goes against all my coach wants me to do." Aaron replied.
"Fine, I'll help." Allie said, grabbing a suitcase.
"Where are we taking these things?" Aaron asked.
"Jules and I's room." Allie said, pressing through the crowd to the elevator. Once there, she pressed the up button.
"You aren't going to want to sleep there tonight." Aaron said.
"I figured I'd crash in one of your rooms, with Brendan or Michael or Ian." Allie explained.
    "Or possibly me." Aaron said.
"But I learned when I was younger and much more religious than I am now that you should never put yourself in a situation that can allow sin to happen." Allie said, smiling at Aaron.
"Then you'll defiantly not want to stay in your room tonight." Nate said.
"Eww. Jules is doing the dirty." Allie said in a little kid voice.
"And you haven't?" Nate asked, as Allie raised an eyebrow at him.
"You've known me how long?" Allie asked.
"Okay, I retract my previous statement. Alexis Haywood is as pure as freshly fallen snow." Nate said.
"I wouldn't say she's that pure, cause she ain't that innocent." Aaron said, as Allie elbowed him.
That moment, the elevator door opened and Jules stepped out. Her mouth dropped open and her purse slowly started falling off her shoulder.
"That's why I wanted to stall her." Allie explained.
