“Heath’s has the best
pizza, hands down.’ Miley said, taking another bite of her slice of pizza.
“That’s saying something. You’ve always loved pizza.” Justin
replied.
“Not as much as I love you.” Miley replied.
“You return and we get the yucky, in love couple again.”
Trace said, coming over and refilling their glasses.
“You could sit down and join us.” Justin offered, as Miley
nodded in agreement.
“And lose my lunch as I watch you two make lovey eyes at each
other all night? I think I’ll pass.” Trace said.
“Trace, please?” Miley asked. Trace smiled.
“Let me set this pitcher up with Heath and let him know where
I am.” Trace said, walking off.

“You guys want to open a restaurant?” Miley asked, laughing.
“Go to some big city and give them some good southern food.
It’s totally smart.” Trace said.
“Do you have a name for this place?” Miley asked, sitting
back in her chair.
“Southern Hospitality.” Justin stated. “Everyone’s always
saying that you need a taste of southern hospitality. This way, people can.”
“You two are crazy.” Miley said. “You know how many
restaurants open in the big city and almost instantly fail?”
“But see, we have something that those places didn’t have.’
Trace said. Miley and Justin both looked at him, a little confused. “Dude, Miley
is our insider. She’s been there, she could help us survive.”
“You want to milk my wife for info?” Justin asked.
“No, you’ll be…” Trace started.
“You turn that into a dirty joke and I’ll make sure you wear
pepperoni for the rest of your shift.” Miley replied.
“But, she’s seen restaurants succeed and fail. She could help
us make it work.” Trace said.
“Dude, not right now. We’ve got more important things we’re
working on.” Justin replied.
“Like making me an adopted grandparent again.” Heath said,
walking over.
“Yeah right.” Miley said, causing everyone to look at her in
surprise. “Heath would have to be a godparent.”
“Especially when you get your late night cravings for cheese
fries.’ Justin added.
“When your mother was pregnant with you, she couldn’t go
within fifteen feet of my cheese fries without getting sick.’ Heath said.
“9 months of cheese fry deprivation. Must be why she can’t
get enough of them now.” Justin joked.
“Either way, she’s still one of my favorite customers. I
mean, I had to have her wash my car in high school. She had gone a whole week
without the fries. I had to see what stage of withdrawal she was in.” Heath
said.
“Yeah, that was why I went too.” Justin replied.
“Your spotlessly clean truck needed to be washed.” Trace
said, laughing.
“And my new string bikini had nothing to do with it.” Miley
replied.
“Maybe just a little.” Justin said.
“Look, I gotta steal Trace back. We’re about to hit rush hour
for us.” Heath said.
“That’s cool. We better get going anyways. I promised someone
ice cream and a walk in the park.” Justin said.
“It’s good to see you Miley.” Heath said, hugging the two
before they left.
Justin and Miley stopped by the ice cream parlor before
walking to Memorial Park. “This place still looks beautiful.” Miley said,
looking around. “Why would anyone want to tear it down?”
“We’re not sure. It’s been debated for years.” Justin
replied.
Miley pointed to a swing set sitting at the edge of the
playground equipment. “That was where I had my first kiss.”
“From Lance, if I remember correctly.” Justin said,
chuckling.
“And my second, about right after Lance finished.” Miley
added.
“He was putting the moves on my girl.” Justin joked.
“And I believe we did something naughty on that piece of
playground equipment once night.” Miley said, pointing it out.
“One of my favorite nights.” Justin added.
“And we got married right under that oak tree.” Miley said as
she stopped walking. “You were wearing a while button-up shirt, a black tie and
black slacks. I wore a white dress with cute sleeves and a knee length hem.”
“You loved that dress.” Justin replied, watching Miley walked
over to the tree.
“It was such a beautiful day. It wasn’t windy, but just a
nice breeze. It wasn’t too hot but it wasn’t too cold. It was a perfect day.”
Miley said.
Justin walked over and took his wedding ring off. He handed it to her after
quickly looking at his watch. “It is exactly the time we got married, just a
couple of years later.” He said.
“And do you, Melinda Grace Hart, take Justin to be your
husband? Do you promise to love him for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in
health, to turn away all others and cleave only to him for as long as you both
shall live?” Miley said, as she started to slide the gold band onto his hand.
“And I most certainly do.” She added with a smile. “I don’t have my ring
though.”
“And do you, Justin Randall Timberlake take Miley to be your
wife? To love her for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to turn
away all others and cleave to only her for as long as you two shall live?”
Justin said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out Miley’s band He slipped it
onto her hand. “And I most certainly do.”
“I love you.” Miley said. “I wish I had told you that more
but I promise to make sure you always know.”
“Miles, I never said it enough either.” Justin replied. “But
we’re starting over, completely new.”
“I like that.” Miley said, walking over to Justin. “I like
that a lot. And, I think we should go home and start things off right.’ She
added.
“Honey, I like the way you think.” Justin said.
